I'm getting very anxious, I'm 6 weeks right on the line for 7 weeks and most of my symptoms have dissipated. I'm hoping morning sickness pops its lil nasty head up soon. I hope everyone is doing well <3

I'm in MN, and my job as a school counselor is crazy lately. Kids are wired-we've had K students tearing up rooms, throwing scissors, running around the building, and I've been punched and kicked all in the last week.
WI, MI, IL, and Ohio have all closed schools. I know it will mess up a lot of people's daily lives, but the selfish and tired part of me is really hoping we close too. I could use the break.

My first ultrasound went well. I’ve got a little gummy bear of a baby, measuring exactly 9 weeks with a heartbeat of 180bpm. EDD is now officially 10/12/20, but we’re anticipating mid-September based on my history. We’re excited for our rainbow baby! 🌈❤️ Congratulations on the good ultrasound!! <3

The selfish and tired part of me is ready for us to close too. NY is holding out HARD despite having 422+ cases. Our kids are collectively losing their minds as well right now. It's so hard.

I just feel like crawling into a hole and putting my head figuratively in the sand for a few weeks. My anxiety was already crazy high both from just being pregnant and the hormones, and then this shit happens. I feel like the only thing I'm doing right now is curling up in bed and scrolling on my phone, which so is not helping.

My doctor gave me sick leave until at least my next appointment (April 3) and then the OB will reassess. He sounded so sorry for me when I was describing my nausea and anxiety

I'm 16 weeks today and still nauseous. This blows. I feel you. I’m almost 11 weeks and I feel like the end is probably nowhere in sight for me. With my last pregnancy, I had to stay on Unisom and B6 until the end; every time I tried to skip it, I ended up feeling almost 1st trimester level of sickness. Worth it in the end to have a healthy baby, but man... it makes for a rough time. Hopefully your body is almost over the sickness! This was probably my problem. I stopped the unisom/b6 for a few days because I thought I was feeling better, then it hit hard again. I threw up again last night for the first time in 2 weeks.

Yep, this happened to me a couple times around 20-30 weeks, whenever I forgot to take them before bed. All day nausea... and simple things like making food for my toddlers had me running to the bathroom to go throw up. I’m sorry your sickness is persisting, but at least you know something that works for it! Based on how I’m feeling, I more or less plan on continuing Unisom and B6 until September. 🤷♀️ How many times a day do you take it? I've heard conflicting instructions.

How many times a day do you take it? I've heard conflicting instructions. I’m taking it 3x/day. Bedtime dose is a full Unisom (25mg), morning and afternoon doses are a half pill (approx 12.5mg). I think the B6 I’m taking is 50mg, and that’s the same dosage each time. Ok thank! My doctor told me 4 times a day and half a Unisom that often made me think I'd be too drowsy. I've been doing about 3x a day too.

My instructions for diclectin (which is basically the b6 and unisom packaged together in one pill) has always been 1 in the morning, one in the afternoon, and 2 at bedtime.

The worst part was that I took my anxiety meds at the same time, so I'm feeling very out of sorts today

shesellscshells I just called and they did check them. As of 3 weeks ago they were fine but the nurse said that I can definitely come in for an early appointment if I feel I need it.

Great news! My parents just picked us up a double stroller. There was someone local to them who had a graco stroller for only $35. My bucket seat is a graco so it will work with it. And it was muuuuch cheaper than what we could get the same stroller here for.

We need a fair number of new car seats; new infant bucket since our expired and got moldy in storage when we moved, plus slimmer seats for the girls to fit three in both cars. We found one of the slim seats we were eyeballing brand new, unopened, online order that was returned for only $40. It's normally like a $150 seat, and it totally worked for what we needed.

Speaking of strollers. B will be 3.5 by the time we use one often with #2. Should we get a double (probably jogging) or just a cheaper umbrella for B since he won’t be in it as long?

I'm getting the double because DS will only be just over 2 when baby is born, and also we're planning on having a 3rd soon after (unless things change) so it's practical for us. Yes, I know we're nuts lol

Yes, I know we're nuts lol I highly approve of your plans to buy a double, especially since you plan to use it again when your current baby-in-progress is a big sibling. 😊 I’ve gotten some pretty good use out of my double strollers using them for babies 1&2, then 2&3, and they’re still hanging in there for use with babies 3&4. I'm taking 18 months maternity. Plan is to have #3 here or well on the way by the time mat leave is up. We're also planning on hopefully having our homestead up and have a little bit of a harvest going by then so that it's not so difficult if we have a bit of a wait between when mat leave ends and when we get child tax for #3. It's a whole plan lol
