I took the toddler to the doctor this morning and he has flu A. Luckily his fever broke last night and he'll be med free 24 hours tonight so he can go back to daycare tomorrow. I get to start tamiflu tonight in hopes I don't catch it, even though we all know I've been basically wiping his nose non-stop since Sunday. My three year old had it last month. I didn't take Tamiflu and didn't get it. Good luck! I haven’t taken the Tamiflu yet. I figured he had been sick long enough that I probably would have gotten it already and the side effects of the meds were worse than his flu symptoms.

Two yers ago when both my kids got slammed with Flu A and RSV our ped gave H and I tamiflu too and told us to start it asap even being asymptomatic. We both ended up getting the flu but it was like a mild cold for a few days instead of the full blown flu. No symptoms for anyone in our house. I hope you fair ok!

ponygirl congrats on a good appointment. It's the best to hear the heartbeat and get that reassurance, isn't it? Yes it is!!! Congrats on baby girl #3!

My first ultrasound went well. I’ve got a little gummy bear of a baby, measuring exactly 9 weeks with a heartbeat of 180bpm. EDD is now officially 10/12/20, but we’re anticipating mid-September based on my history. We’re excited for our rainbow baby! 🌈❤️ Yay!! Congrats on a good ultrasound!

I'm absolutely exhausted. I've fallen asleep on the couch every single morning and most afternoons for the last like 5 days. Heartburn and hot flashes are intense. I'm really feeling like this pregnancy is totally different which is definitely getting my hopes up for a little girl, which DS1 is also rooting for because he keeps asking about "my baby sister"

Yeah, I cannot shake the exhaustion this go around. I'm so tired all the time and nodding off at weird times of day. When will you find out what you're having beenthere?

Congrats shesellscshells! I'm exhausted too, but still doing the unisom/b6 combo so hard to tell how much is from that. I SWEAR I felt my first baby flutters tonight. I'm 14.5 weeks and Google tells me it could be possible, especially with a second or later pregnancy.

This pregnancy is really different, and difficult for me this go around, both physically and mentally. I just can't stand to go to work most of the time, between the intense nausea and the anxiety I'm feeling 😕

fem I've felt baby move twice already and I'm 13w3d. I know it's early, but I'm sure they were flips when baby was in the exact right spot.

shesellscshells I actually first felt DS at about the same time. Nobody believed me but I know it was! He was also super nuts (some things don't change lol), to the point where he caused some bleeding because he was bouncing around so much

And I'm CONSTANTLY pulling him out of situations he's gotten himself into. At least I won't need to worry too much about entertaining any subsequent children because he's just going to do it for me lol

At least I won't need to worry too much about entertaining any subsequent children because he's just going to do it for me lol Having a big sibling makes parenting subsequent kids both easier and harder. Eventually they’ll copy the crazy antics as much as their little motor skills allow, and you’ll be pulling two kids out of trouble. 😂 It’s fun, though. He also likes to show off lol. We have his crib set up as the toddler bed (with the railing) and pushed up against the head of our bed. If I'm video chatting with my mom and I'm in bed, he'll go and flip himself over the railing and onto my pillow over and over because it makes us both laugh. He is a total goofball!

I've definitely been feeling baby flutters for a couple of weeks already. Fourth pregnancy and all that. I'm 14 weeks today. Speedy, I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. It really is hard. Feel free to lament all you need. This has definitely been my hardest pregnancy so far in terms of morning sickness, exhaustion, and ability to function. I'm still struggling more days than not even though I'm in second tri now. It's just hard. Hang in there.

Anybody know what to do about sciatic nerve pain? It started acting up late in my last pregnancy, but its already bothering me now. The other night after laying flat on my back, I could barely even get out of bed!

ponygirl, I wound up seeing a physiotherapist with my last pregnancy. Turns out my hips were way out of alignment which was causing pressure on the nerve, so she did some correcting and I did some stretching. My hips stayed out of alignment but it did help.

I feel like I may have started cholestasis already... my ankles are seriously itchy (which is where it started last time) and I keep vomiting with basically no warning. I think they checked my levels last week so when I see my high risk doctor next week I'll double check to make sure and maybe get a repeat on them.

shesellscshells I'm hoping that would be the case as well. I was reading a case study of a woman who developed it at week 8 and her levels were very high and she had to he delivered at 31w6d. She also lost a baby when she developed it at 10 weeks. I feel like my liver was probably "primed" as it were because I always get itchy around my period too now. Man this thing sucks!

I think I've eaten more Taco Bell in the last 6 weeks than I had in the 3 years prior. I keep having cravings for tortilla chips and beef, so nachos it is.

I'm up like 14lbs 😭
And we just bought a disgusting amount of doomsday prep food, none of which is healthy. I'm finally eating normal again and my gain stalled. Gosh I don't want to eat nothing but garbage for another month. Fucking coronavirus.
