Does anyone want to do a blogger thread? I know there are people who follow them on here.
Brought to you by Shannon Bird calling 911 in the middle of the night (and filming it!) because she ran out of breast milk and needed to buy formula. I think she's entitled and chaotic but I also think she legitimately needs help and I hope this episode was a wake up call to her and Dallin. She needs a nanny or a mother's helper or something.

I'm kind of amazed he went to be honest. She might end up getting a ticket for wasting emergency resources.

I just know that it would never even occur to me to call 911 over this. She shows that she tried calling 3 other people before 911 but none of them picked up. I feel like I'd just wake the kids up and deal with it before calling the cops though. A lot of emergency workers would not be so nice as the guy who showed up at her door and they would be totally in the right to tell her she's wasting their time.

That it was all for the views and preplanned

Calling 911 over this would never even cross my mind. Honestly even calling a person I know probably won’t. I would just get my kids out of bed and go to the 24 hour cvs.

I don't believe for one second that a 911 dispatcher sent an on duty officer to someone's home because she was out of milk. Unless they live in Mayberry and it was literally the only thing happening, that's not how that works.

I don’t know this Shannon Bird so I checked out her insta. She seems....over the top. There’s no way that formula 911 call wasn’t pre-planned.
I’m getting a good laugh at the people trolling her when she posted for baby name ideas though. At least I hope they’re trolling and Traffik and Xlyn (Chrislyn) aren’t actual suggestions..

It’s been so fun getting to know and meet everyone on here but this is the end for me. if you saw my stories then you’ll understand why I need to do this. I am leaving this space for a bit until I am in a good spot again. These littles need me more than ever and I them. Thanks for being my friend - Shannon

The reddit that spun off from GOMI? I love that place. Really? I can't get into it because of the format. The big WTF thread where everything is supposed to go is so chaotic and long and annoying to me. I like GOMI better where every blogger has their own thread so you can just to there to talk about one or two bloggers and it doesn't have to be big "WTF" moment worthy of people's attention but just discussing their recent posts in a neutral or even positive way. But unfortunately GOMI is so buggy and rarely works.

But unfortunately GOMI is so buggy and rarely works. I don’t GOMI. I don’t like the vibe and I don’t like the creator. The mega thread is a little unwieldy, but the bigger names have their own spots. Yes Alice is horrible. I got banned for trying to say something defensive once about Meghan Markle, lol. Alice’s comments about her are fucking racist. But to me the problem with Reddit is you have to constantly read that crazy long thread in order to participate. And if you try to start your own conversation, it’s deleted and then you’re told to scroll down and by the time you get there, the conversation is usually over. I don’t want to read about hundreds of petty small time influencers I’ve never heard of. I also don’t like how every comment a user makes is supposed to be or is assumed to be snarky, you know? Mostly I just want to discuss bloggers in a neutral way with people who are also interested and in them (no one in my real life is interested in social media celebrities). But it’s hard to get a conversation going because people assume you’re snarking when you might just be trying to talk about it. I guess I just don’t like the format Reddit uses. But GOMI has problems too all of which relate directly or indirectly to Alice who is the literal worst.

Awww thank you djs. I feel cared for. I briefly read of this earlier this morning but I had to go to the dentist, so I'm coming in late. Shannon is not OK and hasn't been for quite some time. Her husband is a douche canoe who treats her like a baby factory. Her decision making and critical thinking skills do not exist in the adult form, making her a brilliant companion for her children but a terrible caregiver. She also repeatedly loses pets (not that they die, they literally get lost) and just buys more pets. It's nuts. The reddit board Blogsnark is OK for blogger gossip. For more popular bloggers (or ones that have a lot of material to snark on), there will be weekly threads. Not to hard to read if you read them daily. But I hate how the format is newest comment first.

ripper you can change the comment order. Idk if you use the reddit app but there’s a drop down at the start of the comments where you can select new, top, etc to be displayed first.

She is the biggest example of rich, mormon, white girl privilege. Can you imagine if a POC called 911 in the middle of the night because they couldn't feed their kid? CPS would be there within the hour and their kids would be taken away. It's fucking infuriating.

Not sure why because she blocked me from sending an email to ask. She's also banned both my email addresses, even the one I never used to sign up.

She is not well. I can’t say anything too snarky because I think she needs help. And her husband is a useless asshole. I’m with you, donnameagle, that I really worry about her children.

I never comment on shit but I almost had a stroke when she had that kid with a broken leg on those crutches. 1. He’s way too young and 2. They’re the wrong kind.

I am glad she is going. I hope dearly that she gets some help.
I remember clearly when she found out she was pregnant with this one she posted pictures of her crying about it because I was (and still am) in pregnancy loss hell. Because she was already so overwhelmed she didn't want another. Even in her insanity she knew.
I *think* she has some messed up home life past issues. Her family is not around really at all. It is strange.
I do think CPS will get involved again. And I think that is ok.

and most of that is on her, because she won't put down the fucking phone and actually parent her kids. She films all of it. all. of. it. She filmed CPS showing up to her house. who the fuck does that? Call me cynical but I really think the break from IG is all part of the show.

What it really comes down to is she has some major mental health issues and did well before kids. Breeding for that douche husband has exacerbated them.
