Due date? 9/8
How did you find out? Obsessive early testing? Lol, but really I felt crazy sick to my stomach. I figured I was catching the stomach bug my kids had, but when I never started puking I tested a got a faint line.
Job? Middle school teacher
Hobbies? Running, triathlons, and running. I love to read but I can't seem to make time.
Other children/pregnancies? Two daughters, four and two, with a loss in between.
Pets? A giant chocolate lab named Griswold.
Spouse/SO? Hubby.
First Appointment? January 27
Symptoms? They come and go hard. Today was very minimal; sore nipples, bloating, a bit of cramping. The lack of symptoms is is driving my PGAL brain insane because all of my symptoms just straight disappeared a few hours before I hemorrhaged with my loss. I keep just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I wish I was puking.
Anything else interesting? I teach sex ed and I love the irony of teaching while enormously pregnant.

Job? I work as a care worker in a nursing home
Hobbies? Cooking and baking. I also do crocheting and sewing, but haven't done much lately. Hard when a toddler wants to sit on your lap all the time lol
Other children/pregnancies? 19 month old DS and 3 angels. 2 before him and one after
Pets? A blind elderly dog and a stupid cat
Spouse/SO? DH and I have been together for 14 years and married for 9
First Appointment? I see the high risk doctor on the 31st and my first official prenatal exam is February 27th, but I'll be getting some monitoring done before that
Symptoms? Queasiness, lack of appetite unless I'm hungry and then I'm super hungry, exhaustion
Anything else interesting? Eventually we plan on having a small farm and keeping goats and alpaca

I finally got through to the doctor who is doing my monitoring and... They want me to go for bloodwork first and then they'll call to set up an appointment. Ugh. Super annoying. Anyways, I did that today so hopefully I'll hear back no later than Friday and get to see baby next week. I'll be into my 6th week by then so good chance we'll see a heartbeat

I'll be into my 6th week by then so good chance we'll see a heartbeat I keep going back and forth on whether or not I want to push for any early monitoring. I think I am actually in a better head space without it. I only have until 2/4 for my appt. I wanted to be a solid 8 weeks so there wasn't any limbo or questioning. I know if I call and tell them I am anxious I could get blood draws and what not, but with PGAL I just think it'll make it worse.
I'll get a sono at 8 weeks. 11.5 weeks and then after 16 weeks I will be getting weekly scans at my high risk doc. So I think I'll hold out for that.
Let me know how your early appt's go!

It took a lot for me to not ask for early monitoring. My last OB did it for me when I was pregnant with DD2 following my loss, but even after they did a few draws that was it. I still couldn't get an US earlier than 8w and I still called them crying a few times, so it made no difference. I'm not sure I get an 8w US at my new place. We moved and I piked this practice based on recommendations. My intake appoint on the 27th is 45 minutes of "education" on being pregnant with a nurse (eyeroll) and a 15 minute "tummy exam" with a PA, whatever TF that means.

Yeah, I just don't *really* know what it will bring me. My GF did IVF and has had weekly monitoring since the transfer and she just graduated to our OB and was like.... wait what. How do I not get weekly ultrasounds. LOL. I do like my high risk doc's but I don't get into them for weekly until 16 weeks because that was the beginning of placenta/cord growth issues with my last child.
These first weeks are the worsttttttt. So much anxiety. Nothing to do about it.

Just got the call and I'm going in next Friday. I'm a little nervous because I've been spotting the last couple of days, with a larger amount this morning, but it has eased off a bit so I'm trying to think positive

I am jumping in because I need to stay positive about this one!
Due date? 10/2/20
How did you find out? Well, my boobs hurt within a few days of my fertile time so I was optimistic!
Job? I SAH with DD during the day and work at a learning center in the evening/on weekends
Hobbies? Does going to target and Starbucks count?
Other children/pregnancies? I have one DD, who is 4 in March. This is my 4th pregnancy. I had an ectopic in July 2019 and a MC in November 2019.
Pets? We have 2 cats (one is partially blind and one is a fatso I’ve dieted back down to a normal weight) and a bunch of fish, including 2 giant creepy fish I rescued.
Spouse/SO? DH and I met in college. We’ve been together 12 years, married 6.
First Appointment? I haven’t called yet. Having a bit of anxiety about going in for all of the betas.
Symptoms? My boobs still hurt, and I’m just exhausted. I also have a bit of Vertigo, which I had with DD. And everything is starting to get smelly already.
Anything else interesting? I was terribly ill with DD and needed zofran from 8-17 weeks. I’m hoping this time is a bit different in terms of the barfing, considering I’ve got DD and she goes to a coop preschool and I have to work in the school every few weeks!

Pets? 9yo lab mix lap dog

First Appointment? Don't know yet. Still monitoring beta levels for a few weeks
Symptoms? None that I can tell are distinctly pregnancy symptoms rather than all the hormones I'm on
Anything else interesting? We've been TTC for 3.5 years with just over 1 year of medical intervention. 3 failed induction cycles, 3 failed IUIs. This was first attempt at IVF transfer. Hoping it sticks!
ETA: I started on TN/TB, migrated to TCF, then the BMB switched to Facebook and I lost touch. Really excited to join another BMB.
