I dug my Kitchenaid ice cream attachment out of the cabinet yesterday. I've never used it, but want to make ice cream with the kids tomorrow.
Rec your favorite (easy) recipes. Any tips?

(I know that it's late, but whatevs)
We eat raw eggs in this house, which simplifies a custard based dramatically. So ours is: 4 whole eggs, whipped throughly 1 cup cream 1 cup whole milk 1/2 cup maple syrup 2 tsp vanilla
Whisk together, freeze as directed.
If you're just looking for something easy with the kids to eat within a day, you can leave eggs out of the above completely. Ice cream without an emulsifier (eggs) are going to be icier, but are fine in the short term.

Yes also late. Just realized this board exists! I honestly have only used the vanilla ice cream recipe that came with the attachment. It's awesome. I needed freezer space so I took the bowl out of the freezer where it usually lives. I need to make room for it again so I can make it!
