I love reading the check ins but understand if you don’t want to keep doing them. I’ve been working on getting my anxiety / depression under control so I’ve tended to stay in the fluffy and easy threads these last few months. I’ve even started to write up checkins and dealing with Ns sleep and his therapies make me feel glum and then my check in is lame and I just... don’t.
All that to say, I totally get if you want to stop.

Hey! I’m just in a space where I’m either boring or whiny... now that both kids are into school age (AND DS2 IS COMPLETELY POTTY TRAINED HALLELUJAH AMEN!!!) I feel like not much changes around here on a weekly basis. Maybe monthly tagged check-ins? I also don’t want to put more work on you, enchanted, because I know I’ve been slacking the last couple of months. If tagging is a pain, I can get better at remembering!

If I could have all my missing socks back, I’m pretty sure they’d be worth more than $5 😂 WHERE DO THEY GO?!

I'm interested in keeping the check ins, but maybe a little more spaced out? I've just had a realllly tough month and a half or so and I've been sticking around "home" as it were, buy I'm also starting to branch back out again. If I'm in the minority then that's fine, but I really enjoy seeing how everyone is doing.

What's going on with your little one(s) this week? Any milestones, challenges, funny/cute stories, concerns, etc? Nothing really new. He's just starting to get sick of inside and liking to go out, except that it's starting to get super cold around here lol. It snowed the other day and I took him out in it and he looooved it. I really need to get some snow pants and good snow boots to go out with him.
How are you? Well like I said, things have been rough, but they're starting to look up. I just got my first period so that means I'm going back to normal. We've also been without a vehicle for over a month, but we're going tomorrow to pick up our new to us vehicle, with a 2 year warranty.
Anything else? I've started decorating for Christmas and it makes me really happy
QOTW: Would you rather find $5 on the ground or all of your missing socks? Oh dude, I feel like I'm forever looking for socks so definitely socks!

enchanted - Thank you for continuing the check-ins. I miss being more active, but life tends to get in the way. Maybe a less frequent check-in, like PPs said. addymac - Hugs, lady. I'm sorry you've been struggling lately. And sleep issues are just awful. We're here to listen <3 enchanted - Yay, lost tooth! We must have the same tooth fairy - $1 here, too! I hope both kids are feeling better. Sounds like you may have a little artist on your hands. hawkward - OMG Congrats on the PTing!!!! And I'm glad they're both adjusting to the homeschool life. That seems to have been such a great transition for you guys. Speedy - Hearing about your kiddo loving the snow definitely makes it more bearable LOL FX the car works out!

What's going on with your little one(s) this week? Any milestones, challenges, funny/cute stories, concerns, etc.? It's been a bit rough around these parts. DS had pneumonia recently, which turned into pink eye, which turned into a double ear infect. It's been fun. DD now has pink eye, but it's manageable and she's in school. I'm so over the illnesses. They're both loving school. DS is chatting up a storm and starting to get this whole PT idea. It's not consistent yet, but any progress is progress! DD has shown a real interest in math and science, so we're branching out to more age-appropriate STEM activities in our area. She's loving it so far. She's also asked about scouting recently and wants to join a troop. We'll see how that goes... How are you? All over the place with work and trying to find the kids new doctors in our area. I hate moving. Anything else? Things have been rough around here. I'll take all your calming vibes, please. QOTW: SOCKS all day every day. Also, see this article if you're interested.
