Not sure if someone will go ahead of me, but we're looking at an early delivery on Wednesday. I was admitted to the hospital Friday evening after a routine NST showed the baby's heartrate slowing down each time I had a contraction.* She's doing good, has gone almost 24 hours without any decels, but my numbers indicate that I'm on the verge of developing preeclampsia. I don't have it yet, but the drs think I would develop it eventually at some point. So they're keeping me here until I hit 37 weeks on Wednesday, and then I'm having this baby.
This was completely unexpected so both my H and I feel unprepared. Although I suppose on the plus side is at least she's not coming on the 18th (her older sister's 3rd birthday).
*google was not my friend with this, it could just be a simple of the head getting squeezed (normal and of no concern) or it could mean her cord is getting compressed (not ideal to say the least)

elle !!!!!!! I saw your posts in the Sunday thread on GD. I’m sorry you’re stuck sitting and waiting until Wednesday, but I’m glad everything is going well and they’re keeping an eye on you!

elle Good luck! It sucks you're stuck and that she will not get to cook a little longer but I'm glad the doctors have a plan. I know it really rocks your world when plans change like this!
