And now my whole household (myself included) is sick. Awesome. I’m so sorry, I hope everyone gets better in time for little one to arrive! ☹️

Thanks all! I had my “post due” appt today which consisted of an ultrasound where fluid was normal, then a doctor visit where I found out I am 5cm/80% effaced. That’s right, I’m half way through labor without actually being in labor. Lol. Then I had a NST (my 13th) and of course my kid decides to sleep so I was given Sprite and crackers to wake him/her up and finally passed.
But due to my crappy cold and cough I have going on, I legit want this sickness to pass before I go into labor, even if it means waiting a few more days. OB was okay with moving my induction from Thursday to Saturday and even said she would come in for it despite not being on call, which was super cool of her. So here’s me raising a glass of orange juice hoping that I can feel well before baby arrives, sometime between tonight and Saturday. Kids are already showing signs of improvement (they had this about two days before I got it) so hopefully it’s short-lived.

moonandback141 Hope you all feel better ASAP! So great your doctor was flexible in the induction date. Nice job doing labor without actual labor! (If you're anything like me though you've been feeling it and it sucks but a head start!)

Update: starting to be on the upswing sickness wise (still not 100% but maybe 75%?)
And still pregnant.

This bleeding is getting annoying. I’ll go like 2 days of nothing and then it’ll start back up again. So thankful I wore a “just in case” pad today.

I’m fairly certain DD is following DS2 footsteps and heading towards a reflux diagnosis. She’s starting to show all the signs he did minus the screaming, which we fixed with the hypoallergenic formula 😪

Mine keeps coming and going too, how do you know if it’s really gone?

Mine keeps coming and going too, how do you know if it’s really gone? It's hard to say. With my first, I had bleeding for almost 8 weeks but less with the others (thank goodness!). I usually wear one for about 3 or 4 days after it has seemingly stopped. In my experience, it usually stops after a few days of light spotting but everyone is different.

Not sure if this applies to anyone but when I asked at my doctor’s appointment about still bleeding, she said a lot of times the stop/start can be due to overdoing it. Like it stops and you feel good and go about to much life and it starts again. I know for me this seems to be true. But then again I have a toddler and life doesn’t stop so here we are.

This is exactly what the nurse told me when I was leaving the hospital.

My spotting is definitely related to how active I am. Like yesterday I was pretty sedentary and didnt spot at all and then this morning I went on a walk and bam! It’s back.

I've been getting terrible tension headaches every day since the birth last week, and today is the first day I woke up without one. I hope this means that they are gone for good. Dr. Google said they could last up to 6 weeks post-birth and the thought of that made me want to cry because I have hardly been able to function this past week.

My migraines have been hell since birth. Excedrin has been helpful with dulling the pain.

And yeah, I've taken notice of my bleeding increasing after being more active. My ILs are getting into town in a few hours so I've been trying to tidy up a little and vacuuming is apparently a huge trigger. It's hard to take it easy, especially with three older ones, so I guess it's a good thing they don't messiness too much.

Have any of you experienced one breast producing next to nothing and the other producing fine? My left breast previously produced less, but definitely gave me milk. The last few days I’ve gotten almost nothing from it. I thought it was a clogged duct, and had one pumping yesterday that was my normal supply and I thought I’d cleared the block. It didn’t continue though, and since has again been producing next to nothing. Should I be worried?

I have had this, but not to this extreme. I had a swollen lump in my left armpit and got about half supply from that side for about two days but then the supply came back. Yours sounds more pronounced. Do you hand express after pumping to make sure you are completely draining? That definitely helped me.

I did try and hand express, I do get some milk coming out, I must not be fully expressing. I sent an email to the consultant, waiting to hear back from her 😕

I ordered my mom necklace and I am super excited for it. I went for a gold bar necklace with the three kids names engraved on it. I can’t wait to get it!

Baby boy slept about 6-7 hours last night between feeding, he’s almost 5 weeks. Usually he wakes me up well before that, around every 3.5 hours to feed at night. Should I be worried? I feel terrible the one time I didn’t set an alarm he doesn’t wake me up 😨

You have a growth spurt and wonder week combo coming up, so take the sleep now why you can
