GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about fall?

1. How old is your LO? 14 months
2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3-4 plus 1-2+ times overnight
3. Which benefit of extended BFing is most important/relevant to you right now? honestly, still just soothing him. DS3 is SO sensitive and it's the only thing that calms him down sometimes.
4. What is your LO's most annoying nursing-related habit/quirk (nipple twiddling, skin pinching, hair pulling, etc.)? Ugh, DS3 has started in hardcore with the nipple twiddling. DS2 was such a polite nurser and i was hoping DS3 would be the same but no... When he's really tired he will actually pull off my boob and wail piteously if i try to take his hand off my other nipple. siiiighhhh

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about fall? I enjoy the cooler weather and the fall produce (especially pumpkin spice cheerios, lol). It's also nice to be able to use the oven and not worry about heating up the whole house.

3. Which benefit of extended BFing is most important/relevant to you right now? Its helpful if she is a super crankpot in the afternoon. The wakeup session is just out of habit or maybe bonding time for her.

4. What is your LO's most annoying nursing-related habit/quirk (nipple twiddling, skin pinching, hair pulling, etc.)? OMG to nipple twiddling. It drives me crazy! I keep moving her hand, she moves it back. I'm over it...

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about fall? Cooler sleeping nights, apple picking with the kids, fall festivals

2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3, I think we're going to drop down to 2 in the next week or so.
3. Which benefit of extended BFing is most important/relevant to you right now? The cuddling. He doesn't want to sit still otherwise.
4. What is your LO's most annoying nursing-related habit/quirk (nipple twiddling, skin pinching, hair pulling, etc.)? He full on slaps me on the forehead. I'm sure it's hilarious to watch, but it's annoying.

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about fall? Sweatshirts and leggings!

2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 2-3 and usually 1-2 overnight

3. Which benefit of extended BFing is most important/relevant to you right now? The closeness. Plus it makes it easy to soothe him.

4. What is your LO's most annoying nursing-related habit/quirk (nipple twiddling, skin pinching, hair pulling, etc.)? Omg nipple twiddling for sure. He mostly does it at night after he's done his big nursing and is just popping on and off, so sometimes I put on a sports bra until he falls asleep.
Also, not a fan of him pulling up my shirt randomly looking for boobs.

Some pain every now and again but so far not too bad

The cooler weather and getting to wear my sweaters and boots 😁

-DS is a forehead-slapper.

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about fall?
-Fall activities like apple picking and the pumpkin patch. Cooler weather for long walks.

We're officially down to one nursing session (first thing in the morning), and I'm having serious feels about cutting out the last one. Part of me wishes DS would just decide he's done with it on his own.

3. Which benefit of extended BFing is most important/relevant to you right now? - immune support

4. What is your LO's most annoying nursing-related habit/quirk (nipple twiddling, skin pinching, hair pulling, etc.)? - since we basically only nurse in bed, I’m usually asleep & don’t notice anything. He’ll twiddle if I have both breasts out but twiddling is a hard no for me, so I just wear a shirt to bed & cover the side not being used.

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to about fall? - taking walks after supper

I’ve been stuck at this for.....awhile, a lot longer than I expected. I keep hoping she will just decide and be done but no dice.

I’m sure I’ll be a blubbering idiot when it actually happens 😂
