I know it's early still, but anyone given any thought to Halloween? I asked the other day. Ds said he wanted to be a bat again so I could reuse his costume but I think part of it got thrown out. Dd said a pitcher. I wonder if I can convince them to do a group costume. My favorite was s’mores and Pokémon...mostly because I had a giant baby bump to dress up as a pokeball.

DD wants to be darth vader again, which is perfect because I have a death star bump shirt from when I was pregnant with her. She assigned MH storm trooper, but he's pretty anti costumes. It comes down to who is more stubborn and my money is on the 3 year old winning this fight.

I know it's early still, but anyone given any thought to Halloween? DS is going to be a taco, which is his favorite food. I'm trying to convince SD to be a dragon. Because Dragons Love Tacos. DH and I are going to make Taco Bell hot sauce packet shirts.

OMG I just realized this is the first Halloween that dd has glasses and I feel like I should capitalize on the cuteness factor. She has sweet round red ones and often gets called Sally Jesse 😂

Might as well do it now while you can still dictate this stuff. Now DD knows what Halloween is and has been talking about it for forever. I get like negative say in her costume now.

She split her eyebrow open and got stitches a couple weeks after Halloween (due to the above mentioned glasses) and I did mention that she missed the window for the perfect pirate costume.

I know it's early still, but anyone given any thought to Halloween? It's my favorite holiday, so we're all over this. Ordered the big kid's costume last night. Currently the little one wants to be a pteranodon and wear this stuffed animal he has But with over a month to go, that could (and quite possibly will) change

I know it's early still, but anyone given any thought to Halloween? I think M will be Max from Where the Wild Things Are; or he might be. There aren't a lot of options for child-sized costumes. In previous years he has been Marty McFly, Garth (Mh was Wayne.) and last year he was Ace Ventura complete with a tutu made by katespade.

Where did you get this? I was pretty surprised that DD didn't want to be a dinosaur, but I think she may still be traumatized from my t-rex costume last year. She'll regularly say "i didn't like when you were a t-rex, mommy".

I love the Ace Ventura one! that's so original.

I know it's early still, but anyone given any thought to Halloween? I'm hoping to convince DS1 to be Harry Potter then something HP related for DS2. Trying to take advantage before DS1 really understands Halloween and begins to have an opinion on his costume. Last year he was Jon Snow and the then 1 1/2 month old DS2 was a (dire)wolf.

They will either be a dinosaur or shark. DD will be an owl. I cheaped out and bought them the animal pjs from carters instead of doing true costumes this year 🤣

My older one is going to be Draco Malfoy if that serves as a good foil. And the little one wants to be Professor Flitwick for the upcoming Harry Potter party we're throwing. Which works since he's both short and a Ravenclaw. Otherwise (and especially if he's not walking) I'd try to convince your husband to dress up as Hagrid and carry him around as some sort of magical creature - like a niffler, Aragog, or Fluffy. Even Hedwig might work.

Even Hedwig might work. He just took his first steps last night actually!! So he should be walking around well enough to not have to be carried the whole time. I haven't dressed up in years, but if there was ever a theme that got MH to dress up too it would be HP.
