Week/Fruit/EDD/baby age: 36w 4d/ Romaine Lettuce/ Sept 25
FTM, Etc: FTM
Appointments: Sept 10
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): 💙
Milestones: Almost early term!! And it’s officially my due month!!
Symptoms: Exhausted, all the pee, having what I assume is Braxton Hicks
Rants: I tested positive for Group B Strep, which wouldn’t be a huge deal if not for my numerous antibiotic allergies 🤦🏼♀️ I’m not sure what they’re going to end up using the day of labor, I just really hope it isn’t something I react to. A reaction during labor sounds terrible
Raves: They’re moving me to reception at work starting this month, so that will be really nice as I slow down. Also, due to the change, my schedule is such that with Labor Day I have a 5 day weekend! 🙌🏻
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? I’ve gotten much more loving for the pumpkin spice smell for my wax melts, but I will forever be a peppermint gal when it comes to beverages and candy. Pumpkin spice lattes are just “eh” for me, I get much more excited for Peppermint mocha season!

Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: So close to early term!
Symptoms: Name it, I’ve got it
Rants: My H is just now starting our baby beer; it won’t be done for 6 weeks 😒 Good thing I already have my post-baby beer in the basement 🤣
Raves: I’M HAVING A BABY AT THE END OF THE MONTH! 25 days to go!!
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? Neither 🤢🤮 Apple spice all the way!

Week/Fruit/EDD/baby age: 37w/Sept 22 (did I tell this group I have been using the wrong due date apparently according to the doctors for 36 weeks 🤦🏻♀️)
FTM, Etc: STM+
Appointments: Thursday for growth scan, NST, 37w appointment, and scheduling our c-section!
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Blue
Milestones: Early full term!
Symptoms: actually None really except peeing all the time
Rants: still annoyed that they are using 9/22 as my due date even though I know it’s 9/25 because science! We are still pushing for a 9/19 delivery date (opposed to 9/15) because I want to make sure we hit 39 weeks for sure.
Raves: Happy to still be feeling over all really good for being 37 weeks. Although moving slower for sure!
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? Neither. Both are gross. Lol

Week/Fruit/EDD/baby age: 36w 3d/ Buzz Lightyear / 9.27
FTM, Etc: #4
Appointments: Thursday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: Under a month left!
Symptoms: Sore, tired, moody, feeling huuuuge. Insomnia.
Rants: I'm really over the insomnia. I can't get comfortable to sleep and end up tossing and turning so much that I wake up and then my mind won't turn off. Also, how TF am I measuring small? I feel huge and keep getting bigger, if my clothes are any indication. I compared pictures of my bump at 35 weeks to my bumps at 39/40 weeks with my other pregnancies and I'm the same size or bigger! And I still have around 3.5 weeks left! I have a very small frame so I'm not sure how my body is planning to fit in 3.5 more weeks of growing 😳
Raves: School starts back up this week, on Wednesday. It's only 1/2 days but maybe I can actually get some rest even without my husband having to be home. I'll miss my girls but the timing is pretty good for being so far along!
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? I guess peppermint as long as it's not too minty. I prefer cinnamon over either so Christmas flavors are my favorite!

Symptoms: all of them

Week/Fruit/EDD/baby age: 34w/Oct 14
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: Friday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones:
Symptoms: just feeling generally the worst
Rants: I’ve been having so many fucked dreams lately. Stuff about labor, the baby, needing a c-section without any pain meds...Clearly my subconscious is having some anxiety.
Raves: My mom is watching the kids today. DH and I are going to cross somethings off our list, test drive some SUVs, and get lunch.
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte, they’re not vegan. I do ❤️ a sugar free peppermint latte, but Starbucks stopped carrying the sugar free syrup the last two years. Seriously have thought about purchasing a full size bottle of sf syrup from amazon to keep in my car for seasonal Christmas lattes. I like to drink my first after our annual turkey trot.

Week/Fruit/EDD/baby age: 34w/savoy cabbage/Oct 14
FTM, Etc: STM
Appointments: Nothing this week
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): 💙
Milestones: Being in September is a huge milestone, even though I'm not technically due until Oct. My mom and MH are both convinced the baby will come in Sept.
Symptoms: Nothing new. Still feeling really good for the most part.
Rants: I've started the "online shopping like a maniac" stage of pregnancy. I went through it really bad last time because I was off work and also miserable, so I just sat on the couch and ordered a bunch of stuff for the last 6-ish weeks. Now I'm doing it again and I can't stop. I really don't have the money for this right now, but I can't seem to help myself. Someone please take my internet and credit card away from me. (I'd say it's all stuff for baby, but it's only like 33% stuff for baby and the rest for me/the house.)
Raves: I went to a family party yesterday and everyone was telling me how good I looked and it was just the ego boost I needed at this point in pregnancy.
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? Oh, I like both! I love a good seasonal flavor!

35w1d, induction around 39 w (Sept 30 maybe?)
FTM, Etc: 3tm
Appointments: nst/bpp wed, obgyn Thursday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: getting close to early term
Symptoms: feeling soooo enormous and everyone comments on it too. Harder to get up off the floor and more muscle cramps
Rants: so much to do and so little time. I need to pack my hospital bag, and get her clothes ready. Insurance provides a crappy pump so I have to decide if I want to pay for the one I really want.
Raves: since this is our last, I'm trying to really enjoy feeling her move.
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? Meh. I like pumpkin baked goods and peppermint with chocolate.

Week/Object size/EDD: 35w2d / Carton of a dozen eggs / Oct 5 FTM, Etc: 2TM Appointments: Next Friday Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green Milestones: Symptoms: Gag reflex, acid reflux occasionally, BH like whoa, and now a lovely pelvic pain if I sit for too long (like 3 hours of driving) Rants: WTF is this pelvic pain after long periods of sitting?! I almost couldn't walk. Ouch Raves: The comments about not looking as pregnant as I am are annoying but nice to hear. Managed to stay out until 11pm for my sister's bday! GTKY: Peppermint! I like pumpkin stuff too, just love mint more.

I have my “oh shit! I went into labor at work” and my “oh shit! My water broke at work” bags packed and in the car/my desk. Here’s hoping little lady is convinced to stay put until she’s evicted 🙈

cmb That's a good idea. I should do something similar. My water breaking at work is pretty much my biggest fear. I teach high school, so having fluid burst out of me in the middle of a room of 16-year-olds would be a complete nightmare.

stayingblonde I have a 10-15 minute walk from work to my desk, so having it break at work would be a nightmare. With my boys, I had it broken for me, so I’m hoping that’s the case again. I have a contingency plan in case I do go into labor at work, but the hope is that we can convince her to stay put until we force her out. I’m legit terrified of not making it in time and either ending up at the high intervention medical center or having a baby on the side of the interstate

cmb Several ladies from my other BMB had car babies, including one on the side of the road. And someone I know IRL had a car baby in the parking lot of the birthing center they were headed to. These stories terrify me. The only positive about going into labor at work for me is that my work is much closer to our hospital than our house is. But that is it. I'm also hoping he just stays put so I don't have to deal with any of these awful scenarios.

Week/Fruit/EDD/baby age: 35/small backpack/Oct 7
FTM, Etc: 3
Appointments: at a NST now!
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: um, tomorrow I turn geriatric so there’s that?
Symptoms: omg the heartburn. Someone please rip my esophagus out of my throat.
Rants: can’t get a good night’s sleep anymore due to the aforementioned heartburn. My three year old says I have “hot buns.”
Raves: getting excited to meet this little fella or little gal in the next month.
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? Honestly if we are talking lattes, neither. But I do like other pumpkin flavored things.

stayingblonde Man, I am terrified of having a car baby. My H works about an hour away and our hospital is about 35-45 minutes away depending on traffic. It could be close if I go into labor with H at work lol. We plan on taking the non-highway route to the hospital because pulling over on neighborhood streets would be easier/less dangerous.

I'm also hoping he just stays put so I don't have to deal with any of these awful scenarios. The only way to the hospital is major roads. They already warned me that I won’t have much time if I go into labor on my own after how quick the boys were, and the main midwife even said that if it appears that I’m going to go earlier than 39w, we’ll induce before hand, but obviously, we want to hit 39. They had a woman the other week deliver in a gas station because she couldn’t make it the last mile. 😬😬 Bonus, I also learned that the only reason DS1’s lasted close to 10 hours was because he was sunny side up and those labors take longer (not to mention, my water refused to break and was stopping his descent)🤦🏼♀️ So yeah, real fear here.

My H does not want a car baby. Luckily for him my labor with #1 lasted 36 hours. Ha. We don't expect #2 to be precipitous but our hospital is a 7-minute drive from our home and H is at most 30 minutes away at work so we should be good. I find it ironic my H who is a doctor (not OB, but he is a surgeon and did an OB rotation so caught babies) is scared of a car birth.

I'm so thankful that the hospital I'm supposed to deliver in is in my neighborhood! It's literally a 2 minute drive so even if I somehow had a labor at lightning speed, it wouldn't be too far of a drive.

peggyhill oh man—what kind of antibiotics are you allergic to? Happy early birthday!! 🎉 I’m allergic to Amoxicillin, Sulfa, and Cefcil (I think they’re all spelled correct?) I know Penicillin is off the list of stuff I can have for Group B, but I don’t know anything about Vancomycin and Cefazolin as far as myself goes. I got talk to my doctor and see what she has to say....

Week/Fruit/EDD/baby age: 33+1, cauliflower, oct 22
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: Midwife next Thursday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: apparently baby keeps his/her eyes open while awake now 🤷🏽♀️
Symptoms: baby continues to punch/head butt my cervix regularly which is painful and annoying. More Braxton Hicks but nothing too crazy. Other than that still doing really well!
Rants: none at the moment
Raves: I am still feeling really good which has been so nice. It is great being able to keep up with my kids and do all my normal things. This has probably been my easiest pregnancy of the three and I’m trying to really enjoy it because it is 99% my last
GTKY: Pumpkin Spice or Peppermint? I love both! I make super delicious pumpkin bread and I actually like pumpkin spice coffee things as long as they aren’t too sweet. Last year I made my own pumpkin syrup with real puréed pumpkin and it was pretty good. I don’t usually like mint and chocolate together but surprisingly I actually like peppermint mochas
