Week/Fruit/EDD: 32w4/Oct 3- Induction set for 9/26
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: weekly BPP/NSTs begin next thursday along with my biweekly MW app
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: everything hurts. Freaking over having 3 kids
Symptoms: mainly my hips. DD has decided hot coffee is now a no go, so Iโm struggling with cold brew which she also does not like anymore
Rants: Everything hurts. DH has been reluctant to figure out the car seat situation in his car, so I finally went and did it last night. Now, we need to figure out how to pop out one of his second row seats since we have two kids in the 3rd row
Raves: nursery is done and my/babyโs bags are packed
GTKY: bendy straws or straight ones? straight, but I rarely use straws

Week/Fruit/EDD: 31w / romaine lettuce / Oct 14
FTM, Etc: STM
Appointments: Tomorrow
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): ๐
Milestones: I go back to work this week. Not a fun milestone, but I only have a little over a month to work, so it's not too terrible.
Symptoms: Lots of pelvic pressure and lots of pee
Rants: Not a huge rant, but my mom is so gung-ho on helping me set up stuff for baby that it's a little overwhelming. My mom is great, but she has no chill, and I'm just not ready for her energy level right now. She's coming over Wed ready to take over my house and I'm a little scared.
Raves: 31 weeks means single digit weeks to go!
GTKY: bendy straws or straight ones? I don't care, I just hate paper straws. I need to invest in some reusable straws to bring with me, because paper straws are terrible.

+1 on the paper straw hate. My Dunkin started using them recently and it makes me want to throw things.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 32w1d, Oct 6th but induced around or before that
FTM, Etc: 3tm
Appointments: today obgyn and then starting weekly BPP/Non stress tests on Thursday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: I swear she responds to sound more than my boys did
Symptoms: tired, boobs just started hurting again, feel enormous, out of breath quickly
Rants: my hospital won't schedule my induction (for chronic prehypertension) until my 38 week appt (i.e. that's when I schedule it, not when I have it). I'm trying to get more clarity so I can arrange childcare for my boys. Plus, I like to KNOW. Also not thrilled with my weight gain. I passed the gtt but with a 137 so the doctor said to watch my sugar and carbs. It really stresses me out like I'm hurting the baby if I eat sugar but I don't know for sure since I don't technically have gd. I will say I got a 139 with my DS2 and then passed the three hour test so that makes me feel better. I think I should just cut out all sugar though.
Raves: Excited to meet her soon!
GTKY: bendy straws or straight ones? I love bubble tea, so straight for that but bendy otherwise. I join the hate on paper straws. So gross.

+1 about paper straws. Dislike so much! I'd rather use no straw at all, but sometimes they comes with my kid's cups and they always hate them.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 36w/chihuahua/sept 9
FTM, Etc: 3TM
Appointments: in 2 hours
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones:
Symptoms: peeing all the time, pelvic pain, uncomfortable esp at night
Rants: I'm so tired of all our house projects that are incomplete.
Raves: I can't believe how quickly this is going and really that it could happen at any moment really. My other 2 kids were pretty much right on time (one was 4 days late, the other 1 day early) so I'm of course banking on that happening again.
GTKY: bendy straws or straight ones? It depends. I like the bendy one I get with the huge hospital cup they give me, but for the most part I like straight. We have straight silicone type ones at home that you can bend to help clean which helps a lot.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 31w/Oct 14
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: next week
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: as of last appointment baby is head down. Seems like a milestone since sheโs been transverse up until 30wks.
Symptoms: same third trimester stuff, plus the nausea and gallbladder stuff.
Rants:
Raves: I had a good exercise week, we got out hiking and walking over the weekend and Iโve been riding the bike every other day. I feel so much better when Iโm working out.
GTKY: bendy straws or straight ones? I have no strong straw feels. If Iโm using a disposable coffee cup I do prefer paper over styrofoam.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 32w2d / Deerstalker cap (AKA Sherlock hat) / Oct 5
FTM, Etc: 2TM
Appointments: Bi-weekly routine visit this Friday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green
Milestones: Bought some newborn stuff, started a real list of name ideas
Symptoms: Pelvic pressure when going from laying down or sitting to standing (I don't remember this with J), feeling full super quickly when eating, peeing all the time, feeling more tired in general
Rants: Not really a rant but whatever weird movement Frisco is doing in there translates as a shudder or jiggle in my belly and it feels so weird. Been going on for a few weeks now.
Raves: Somehow I'm managing to not wake up MOTN to pee. It's some kind of miracle. Still so many big movements. I can't remember when J slowed down but I don't remember her being this active.
GTKY: bendy straws or straight? I have some of both in stainless. I prefer straight because the curved ones always seem to spin around in the cup.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 30, cantaloupe, oct 22
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: midwife tomorrow morning
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: ? Practicing breathing and shedding its coating of hair apparently?
Symptoms: sore back and tired, but that may also be moving related...
Rants: none right now
Raves: my new bed is awesome and I have been sleeping so much better! Just waking up once to pee usually
GTKY: bendy straws or straight ones? I donโt use straws often but I have straight silicone and bent metal ones for my kids. I have tried them both and prefer the silicone but I think thatโs due to feel not straight/bendy. I agree that the paper ones are horrible though, they disintegrate in my mouth! Blech.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 32/plastic scooter board/Oct 7
FTM, Etc: Trois
Appointments: today
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: another growth u/s under my beltโbaby is looking good at 4lb 10oz, 61 percentile and HB of 146....and head down!
Symptoms: real bad heartburn. Iโm chugging milk directly from the carton through the night. (Iโm the only one in our house who drinks skim milk so itโs not as unsanitary as it sounds.)
Rants: not really a rant bc Iโm glad Iโm being monitored for babyโs safety but was surprised to be told that at 34 weeks I have to do NSTs twice a weekโI just wasnโt expecting that but itโs coolโI like watching the monitor anyway and itโll give me time to work on my baby book Iโve been neglecting. Just kinda took me by surprise since I donโt actually turn 35 until a month before my due date.
Raves: this one is a mover so kick counts are easy.
GTKY: bendy straws or straight ones? Bendy.

Hi ladies. So I had a baby early Monday morning. I went to triage Sunday night because I was feeling cramps and had some pink discharge but I really didn't think that I was in labor. H and I were actually planning on going out for a date night so we dropped my son off with my parents for the night but went to the hospital first. Turns out my cramps were contractions that were pretty regular and then my water broke when the midwife was checking me.
Anyway.. baby girl is doing well. She was born at 36 weeks and weighed 4lbs 3oz, 16.75" tall. She is in the NICU right now because she needed some help breathing. I think we're going to be here for at least a few more days if not more. It's been a crazy week.
