Starting this week off on a high note. I decided to take the leap and ditch the night time diaper, he woke up dry again. So we are officially done with diapers!!!

They closed the major ramp to get to my work today and it won't reopen until the end of the month. Could they seriously not wait 2 more weeks? The detour was annoying.
I also got an alert from my Costco Visa about possible fraudulent charges. Someone tried to use my card at a gas station yesterday. I still have my card so it must have been a skimmer or something. So frustrating but I'm glad it wasn't anything major and they caught it right away.

Waiting on my endoscopy. Over the weekend my cold turned into a blazing, miserable AF sinus infection. After this procedure I can actually start my antibiotics. I can't fucking wait.

So he noted some irritation in stomach and took a bunch of samples to see if it was h pylori which is a bacteria that can cause ulcers. It'll be a week or so on that.
He's recommending I check get my gallbladder bladder checked.

starbuck Did he see something in the endoscopy regarding your gallbladder or was it just a suggestion like, it could be this too type of thing?

We had so much fun at my nieces birthday party yesterday. The boys LOVE the pool and J is doing so well with swimming. B stayed in for about 3 hours straight and wouldn’t get out to even eat dinner. Both kids passed out on the way home which hasn’t happened in so long.
This morning we ran to TJ maxx because I was on the hunt for a maxi dress for a wedding we have this weekend. It’s an outdoor barn wedding so I wanted something flowy and long instead of all the formal black dresses I usually wear for a wedding. I found a cute one for $20 and a pair of nude wedges also on clearance so I’m super happy about that. I was all ready to try rent the runway and that was going to be about $80.
The kids are napping and I’m going to squeeze in a quick workout. It’s beautiful here today.

When I told him that since this last one started about 3.5 weeks ago my heartburn and chest pain had gotten much better but the nausea was lingering pretty bad he perked up.

I hope something comes of all this starbuck. It’s a busy week for us, lots of guarding/lessons for me. Nala had her follow-up and she’s got another week of soft food. Tanner has his surgery Thursday morning. DH leaves next week. L is starting to do 2-word sentences and even some 3-4 word sentences!

WFH today and trying to avoid getting sick. H slept in the office last night. Today I’m going to make some baked ziti and crockpot chicken to freeze for after baby. I also think I’ll take the dog to get his nails trimmed... he probably needs a bath too.

Quiet morning. Just hanging out and doing some cleaning. I have B’s dermatologist appt this afternoon. It’s on the other side of town though, which is how I got in so quickly. Figures, the location about 15 minutes from my house was booked until the end of August so I snagged this appt today for the location about 40 minutes away. During nap time. Should be fun.

WFH and getting ready for my NST. I always get nervous when I go in for these because I know there's a chance that they won't let me leave and I'm stupidly not bringing all my stuff. I figure H isn't with me anyway so he'll have to swing by the house to grab whatever.
It's a cloudy and rainy day but it's much needed for us. Half of our sod that just got installed is already turning yellow and H is freaking out about it. Hopefully this break in the 90 degree sun will help. It's been getting watered but there's no shade so it's just frying in between. Figures the days after our sod is installed, we get a heat wave with no cloud in the sky. It should be pretty nice for the rest of the week though.

waitwhat will he nap on the drive? DH is supposed to get home today but his flight has already been delayed twice. He's holding out hope since the deadline to cancel is still 6 hours away, but I've resigned myself to him not getting in. I've been telling the boys he's coming home tomorrow so it's all good in that regard.

danib I think I may let J nap beforehand. He was up at 6am today so it I put him down around 12 and let him sleep until 1 I’m hoping that will be enough to get him through the rest of the afternoon. Good luck goldenlove! We also have a nice cool weekend ahead. Highs are only 75! It’s going to feel so nice.

A friend at daycare is having a party this weekend for the kids that are going to the same elementary school this month. The elementary school is named Parker so they're having a P-party. Serving pizza, pineapple, pears, peaches, punch and prosecco. I think we'll bring banana pudding.
I'm currently researching cocktails with pear vodka. I'm a really good employee.

goldenlove, good luck today! Walked the dogs this morning, and trying to run out the toddler. We just need him to nap a little bit earlier to wake up a little bit earlier. It's gymnastics day for him so that usually tires him out in the afternoon. Trying to get some knitting done before! I'm determined to finish this baby blanket before Christmas. LOL Then I can start to finish DH's grey and red socks that I started also while pregnant!?! (Pregnant me wasn't smart about crafting) I'm being called in every day because the college kids are heading back to school but there's still summer camp till August 16th, but they have a mini camp that is until the 23rd because depending on the first day of school (not all school districts start on the same day) parents need someplace for their kids to go.

Appointment went well today so luckily I'm home lol. The nurse trying to do the doppler scan said this might be the most active baby she's seen. She keeps kicking the umbilical cord away from the probe while they're trying to measure and she was bouncing around the whole time. I'm slightly scared haha.

Back from the dermatologist. She doesn’t think it’s ringworm but she took a culture just in case but we won’t have those results for 3 weeks. She really thinks it’s because ever since he was a young toddler, he has always rocked and rubbed his head against his headboard to fall asleep. So I have to think of a way to get him to stop doing this. It’s only in his bed (when he sleeps other places he doesn’t do this) that he does this. And I have a topical cream to use 2 times a day.

DH didn't get home. They tried sending a helicopter at the last minute, but partway out it had to return because fog was too thick. Should get home tomorrow though.

This may be a dumb question, but can you take the headboard off the bed?
