Ughhh. It's so frustrating. When we had DD2, everyone was all, oh such a shame you didn't have a boy! You'll have to try again! So when we did decide to have a 3rd (for no other reason than we just wanted a 3rd) the comments were still obnoxious. I can't imagine what it would have been like had DS been a girl 🤦🏼♀️ Seriously irritating. My preferred response lately is "Do you have siblings/children? What sexes?" And turn it around on them asking if they feel their family is less-than. Oh, that's good! I need to start doing that!

Second/third/fourth/etc time pregnants: Do/did you get painful Braxton Hicks the subsequent pregnancies (but not with the first)? This is #2 for me. 35 weeks tomorrow. Can't decide if it's painful BH, cramps, or bad indigestion of some sort. Just curious to know if it's just me. I don't remember having BH at all with my first, but I have been having them a lot this time and they actually trigger the same sensations in my body as my anxiety does, so I don't like them AT ALL. I feel like I'm having mini-anxiety attacks all through the day.

I started getting them with this one but didn't realize what they were until my NST. Then I was like oh yea. It was mostly a tightening of my belly but not painful. When I actually did go into labor, it was a really low cramping that didn't go away when I laid down. It wasn't really painful but felt like menstrual cramps.

I'm having some right now, actually. Ugh. It just releases that anxiety ~feeling~ in my body for whatever reason.
