For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. What would you title this chapter in your breastfeeding journey? 4. What would be your go-to baby shower gift for a mom-to-be who wants to BF? Pregnant & BFing/Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? GTKY: What do you love and not love about each of your child's/childrens' current ages?

1. 22 mo
2. 2-3x
3. Are you done yet?
4. I actually did this for a friend! It was a basket with Bamboobies, gel pads, Mother's Milk tea, a cute water bottle, burp cloths, nipple butter... I know I'm forgetting some things.
GTKY: SD is 13. I love her independence and watching her figure out who she is. The teenage 'tude is WHOA sometimes, though. DS has had a vocabulary explosion, and it's really fun watching him learn and associate words to things he knows. He's started this really fun thing where he screams "NOOO!" at the top of his lungs for no apparent reason.

1. How old is your LO? 12.5 months 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 5-6 plus i'm pumping 1x per day at work 3. What would you title this chapter in your breastfeeding journey? Please God Can't You Sleep Through the Night?! 4. What would be your go-to baby shower gift for a mom-to-be who wants to BF? earth mama nipple butter. hydrogel pads and the boobie hot/cold packs are also helpful.
GTKY: What do you love and not love about each of your child's/childrens' current ages?
DS1 (almost 7): love: he's smart, inquisitive, and creative. he watches out for his little brothers. don't love: he still has trouble staying on task. DS2 (4): love: he's still very sweet and cuddly. says all kinds of hilarious stuff. don't love: he's gotten more aggressive with DS3 now that DS3 is more mobile. DS3: love: chubby, cute, toddles around, starting to talk. don't love: won't STTN. has a mini tantrum every time you take something away that he wants. claws me and grabs me while nursing.

1. How old is your LO? 13 months 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 4-5x 3. What would you title this chapter in your breastfeeding journey? My boobs are not chew toys 4. What would be your go-to baby shower gift for a mom-to-be who wants to BF? Breast pads, nipple butter, hakaa or similar (probably will be doing this for a friend for this weekend)
GTKY: What do you love and not love about each of your child's/childrens' current ages? He's sooo cuddly. He loves to randomly come over and give hugs and kisses. He's also super funny and loves exploring and figuring out things. Which is also kind of a negative, because he's started pulling things out of drawers and cupboards and generally making a huge mess. He also gets super clingy at the wrong times, and fights sleep so hard which is annoying because then he gets cranky.

1. 3.7 yo 2. 1-3x 3. Must find a way to stop 4. I really loved the bamboobies too. The mybreastfriend was essential for me in the early days.
GTKY: DD2: whew, 3.5 yo is a trip. She is the most volatile she's ever been. She is really starting to sound like a big kid though and has great ideas, but still loves a good hug and snuggle. DD1: About to turn 6 yo. She is finally starting to chill out and it's nice not to be on egg shells around her all the time. I think the cons are mostly personality related. She can be a grump.
