Has anyone been to the Azores?

What were your top recs for activities, restaurants etc? We're staying at the Azor Hotel in Ponta Delgada. We'll spend most of our time on Sao Miguel but I am hoping to get over to Terceira island too, if possible.

I haven't been there yet but it seems to be a fantastic place. I'd like to get more info about Azores too. I like nature so that I think it would be a good destination. By the way, is it possible to find cheap flights?
