I'm excited - DH is going back to the states next month, so I set up Target and Amazon registries and set my due date to 1 Aug so DH can use the completion discounts to purchase everything off registries while he is home. His luggage is going to be so stuffed - this will be a good test of his packing skills! Everything is so.much.cheaper in the USA for baby stuff. I'm just all giddy over here thinking about Pampers swaddlers, nosefrida fileters, and burts bees baby shampoo at USA prices We're also going to get a Lillebaby complete airflow instead of the Tula Coast. Hoping the airflow will be significantly cooler than the ones we already have.

Good morning! Speaking of registries, I completed my Amazon one yesterday so I hope to receive my welcome box soon. I don't have a lot on that one or my target one but there are a few things I can def use the completion discounts for. Taitai, yay for getting baby items cheap!!

I need to go back and clean up my registry and start another with Amazon or Target.
Morning. My throat hurts this morning. Hoping it's just from the dry air from the AC running all night.
My sciatic nerve is getting angrier each day. I have an appointment next Wednesday, so I'm hoping OB can suggest something. Sleep is getting difficult because it hurts to lay on the right side for long, but I get tired of sleeping on my left side. I slept at an incline most of last night because of it. At least then I could "sleep on my back", meaning in a mostly sitting position.

My amazon registry is looking ok thanks to you all! It's actually been super helpful as I read/lurk and remember to add things like "breast pump parts" as I stumble upon posts. Because pregnancy brain totally means I'd forget come October!
DD slept in till 7 this morning which was a nice surprise! We're driving up to my parents today and this will be our first time doing a "big" drive while potty trained. I think I'm going to put her in a pull up just in case even though she's been in underwear and no accidents for weeks. We'll just plan to make a lot of stops I guess too!

You guys have me thinking about stuff we will actually need which isn't many and will need your help figuring out the completion discount feature. I didn't know about it until here since I never had a shower. Between my sister and my friend, I was practically set and also my BFFs are scattered on all 4 corners of the earth.

I recommend one who regularly works with pregnant women and is Webster Certified (trained to work specifically with pelvic balance in pregnancy).

This is the first I've encountered troubles and I know many pregnant ladies who swear by chiropractors.

I've really been updating my registry since we all started talking about it. H's whole family has girl's so we basically had to buy nothing between hand-me-downs and two showers last time. But this time we are having a boy and there are a few things I know I'll need/want as a second time mom. As far as the completion discounts, last time Target mailed me the discount coupon (15% I think?). I just took it in-store and loaded up on everything else I needed. They never checked to see if items were on my registry or not.

This is the first I've encountered troubles and I know many pregnant ladies who swear by chiropractors. I was regularly seeing a chiropractor when I got pregnant the first time. She just happened to be webster certified and had a long history of working with pregnant women, so I lucked out there. I haven't had a pregnancy w/o regularly seeing a chiropractor, but I haven't had much back pain to speak of either time (despite arthritis of the spine which can greatly impact sacral joints). It sounds like you're really struggling so I think it is definitely worth a try if you can find a good one close to you. If things are really out of whack, it might take a few visits to really see a difference in how you feel though.

Also, I just ate lunch and I'm already ready for second lunch. The hunger is real.

I'm at work today, not much going on, I need to eat my lunch but someone cooked something stinky in the lunch room. Between my chiro appointment earlier this week and yoga last night my back is feeling great. I know it won't last but it's nice to have some relief. mkrupar you should totally check out a chiro and you don't have to get your neck adjusted if you don't want to, my last adjustment she did mostly hips and lower back.

I made a chiropractor appointment!!! I made sure to ask if the chiropractor was Webster Certified so thanks for the rec CoachTsWife! I'm out of town next week so it's not until July 10 but it's on the calendar. I'm excited! I did find out that insurance covers it but it's a $40 co-pay. Which means that insurance really only covers half. Oh well. I hope it works.

August 15 and my completion discount applies! Woot.
In full disclosure, I'm so at a 12 about money lately I can't even get excited about buying stuff - even Prime Day. Gah.

Tricare doesn't cover any chiropractic care and my fee is $35 under the "non-insured" pricing. Just something to look into Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

So H and I finally got up the motivation to work on the baby's dresser. While unpacking it out of the box we found out one of the main sides is busted down the middle. Ughhh. I know what I'm spending tomorrow doing. Has anyone ever dealt with Delta Children before? Wondering if it will be quicker to go through them or through BRU where we bought it.

Hey O17! I haven't been around much because of some family stuff -- nothing involving me or DH or DS but it's just been taxing. But, DH and DS and I leave tomorrow to go on vacation for a week so I'm hoping it'll break me out of my funk. Well, I should say "vacation" - we're spending the week with my in-laws. And I won't even be able to drink thatgirlrachel Good to know about Prime Day, that's also my birthday so all the more reason to buy stuff. Taitai Yay for your H coming back to the states and getting cheap baby gear! rebeccabunch I just lurked some of your recent posts and read your recos to STMs-to-be in your new bmb and am probably going to print it out and tape it to my wall. So helpful. Also HI and I'm glad you're feeling better after last week. I have never been to a chiropractor so nothing to add there.

riverraine I've missed you in a totally appropriate cross country internet way. I hope whatever you are dealing with has the capability of improving and that it does. As for your trip, hopefully the inlaws are the helpful type and you can have some chill time to do whatever you want to do! ETA - all you missed with me is im sick, I'm still sick, I'm really sick, I just watched 36 episodes of Younger on Hulu in 2 days.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk No experience with Delta Children before, but we had something similar happen from a headboard we ordered from Target. It was some furniture company that made it, but Target sold it. Anywho - for us, it was easier to just drop it off at the closest Target, and Target immediately shipped us a new one. Super super easy. I didn't want to deal with the logistics of shipping it back to the manufacturer...dropping off a Target was just easier. I feel Ike BRU would have a similar set up - you might want to call them first though.
