Which ones did you get? I need 2 convertibles, but the one I marked on Amazon isn't on sale.....
The Graco for MH's truck which we won't use as often and the Britax for mine though I got it a few hours ago for $224 but don't see a sale price now
I got 2 of the slim fit gracos too! I'm going to use one for my big girl and one for the little dude when he outgrows the bucket seat.

Holy postpartum hair loss, batman... anyone else? This sucks! Same here. I am disgusted when I have to clear the drain at the end of my shower. And I have naturally very thin hair to start with. I also feel like I’m constantly finding stray hairs on my arms or clothes.

I started PT today for my pelvic pain. I felt a little silly going since it hasn’t been hurting, but once she started the evaluation, it hurt again. I obviously just avoid doing the movements that irritate it.
While I was there, N got her first bottle from the nanny. It didn’t go well to start, but she ended up thawing some milk, which she finally drank. Then topped it off with a little formula. Since I am a pumping failure, I need her to take formula before I start work in 2 weeks (HUGE SOB PLEASE DONT MAKE ME). I’m going to have her try again next week when I need to take DD1 to the doctor.

Holy postpartum hair loss, batman... anyone else? This sucks! Yep! My hair is gross. Stringy, tangly, falling out. It needs an intervention.

jacks, sorry about the back to work feels. ☹ I hope the bottle goes well to make it easier on you and babe. I've been back a few weeks and I really miss them during the week. It's so hard to get out the door because I just want to snuggle.

I just cut my hair this weekend. It's less bad now, but still finding strands all day long.
Boys had their 4 month appts yesterday. Only one was cleared to start foods. Same boy had a fever last night.

grover I’m sorry about the fever, do you think it was from his shots? M had his first one last night and has his 4 month visit tomorrow, I anticipate much fussiness. What was the reasoning for one being cleared to start food and not the other?

I got my haircut earlier this month right around when N turned 3 months, so I havent noticed the hair loss too much. I have been solo parenting since the 14th so I am just looking forward to my husband being home on friday.

bex15, most likely definitely from the shots- no temperature at the docs before the shots. Reasoning being L has way better head/neck control. J not so much, and they'd like that to be a little better before starting, which I totally get. Thinking it over, it may be easier to only start one kid on solids, get into a routine, then add in J to the routine. Both have been cleared to start thinned out nut butters though due to my and DD's allergies.

I think my baby is broken. She took very short naps yesterday and was up all night. She wouldn’t fall asleep on her own, only nursing. Right in time for our trip this weekend where all 4 of us are sharing a hotel room.

Happy birthday to your dd @ges! My dd1 turned 6 on the 23rd. Every year I think how did it go so quickly
We just got back from visiting family for a week. It went well minus the crazy humidity we have had and the 4 hour drive back with tired children who were also sad about leaving was not fun. We survived though and now we are just trying to get back into our routine. Dd3 has her 4 mth immunizations tomorrow. I am curious of how much she has grown. She seems so big all of a sudden!

Is anyone starting food yet? We got the okay today but I don’t think we’ll start yet, he’s not showing any interest so I’ll revisit at 5 months. Any brands or specific foods you recommend?

We're waiting until closer to 6 months because I want him to be able to sit up on his own a little better. Our pedi agreed. I'll start with meats, then veggies, then fruits. I also intend not to do a lot of purees, and a mix of BLW.

Did you do it with your older child?

Did you do it with your older child? I did, but I also view food before one "just for fun". At least in the first few months. I took a class on CPR, watched YouTube videos to refresh, and paid attention to the difference between gagging and choking. It's really just them exploring and getting to know the foods and textures. But another reason I wait until 6 months is so he's more ready physically for that. H is 5 months tomorrow and still just sticks his tongue out anytime you put anything in/to his mouth (toys, paci 🙄).

We'll probably start the twins at 6 months like we did DD. We introduced food in this order, but I'm not sure it really matters: veg, fruit, cereal/grains, meat, dairy. I am going to ask about thinned nut butters at the next checkup too. It used to be age 1 but I think they recommend earlier now.
By 10 months or so, DD was eating pieces of our food like a tender meatball, soft noodles, scrambled egg, etc. That's also when she started STTN consistently, so I think being more satiated helped.
We did make her purees and I'll probably do it again since I'm cheap. We would roast or steam stuff, then puree and freeze in an ice cube tray. Pop 1 to 2 out per meal in the fridge to defrost early in the day or the day before.

Being out and about has definitely helped her sleep better though. Fingers crossed that happens for you.

Our doctor said we could but advised us to wait until 5 months to start cereal and then move on to other solids after that. That’s also what I did with my other two. I start with veggies & then fruit. I also wait to do meats until they can chew. The puréed meat always grossed me out. 🤷🏻♀️
