I’ll get this started with a waaaah - anyone suffering through their first PP period? I started weaning off pumping and I’m ALREADY getting a damn period. I guess I shouldn’t complain, I went a full year without a one and it was awesome lol We’ve also been feeding Max almost exclusively with nutramigen and his tummy is so much less bloated and he’s in generally better spirits. I definitely think my milk was making his belly hurt 😢. He’s also going longer between feedings (8-9 times a day instead of 10-11). We also went to the beach this weekend and Max met the ocean! I’ll spoiler a pic 💙

I didn't know which thread to post in, but this one was on top so I came here! 😂 Eames the boys are so cute, good luck at your first day back! That's awesome your work provides a hospital grade pump! lemondrop love the ocean pick 😍 we went to the water park for the first time this summer and I put H's feet in the water, he wasn't feeling it, haha And I hope everyone else who has gone back is adjusting well to a new schedule. I got logged out for a while and couldn't remember my password so I've been gone a while 🤦 H is doing great though, rolling both ways and starting to scoot on his belly 😳 MH is done with school for the summer after tomorrow and we're excited to have more family time!

lemondrop, I've already had 2 periods! definitely didn't miss them! Hoping my bcp eventually makes me have very minimal bleeding like it did pre-kids. Eames Good luck today! I can't believe how big all of our babies are already! We went to a bday party yesterday for a 3 year old in my mom group, and it just goes by so fast! DD bowled for the first time ever at the party and scored 107 at the end of 9 frames!

Ahh, sorry y’all, looks like Eames and I were on the same page this morning 😂 your boys are so cute! grover ughhh to the pp periods. I feel like with twins, you deserve more time off from having one lol pambee eeeeeeee to H rolling over and scooting! We’re still working on M pushing up on his arms during tummy time. He’ll do it if he’s on top of one of us, but not on the floor. And yay to YH being home!

Super cute pics lemondrop & Eames! I hope your first day back went well Eames. I can’t believe our babies are getting so big. Dd rolled back to front last week and as soon as she lays down she rolls. She can’t go front to back so she usually fusses after rolling. Haha We are going to the beach in a few weeks and I’m both excited and nervous. I just started a list of everything I need to get for vacation so hopefully with a few weeks to go I will be prepared!

lemondrop, ugh yes I've had 2 pp periods. The first one lasted 10 days. TEN DAYS. But now I'm on BCP and the second one wasn't bad. Sigh....it's really the only thing I miss about pregnancy.

Very cute babies lemondrop and Eamesbex15 I hope your little one is feeling better and it's just a bad cold. I will have a 3 month old tomorrow. She is doing well. Loves to "talk" to people and smile. She is starting to chuckle a little. I have seen her roll back to belly once and belly to back a few times. I am trying to stop swaddling her. Her hands wake her up when they are free so we are dealing with extra wake ups. At night, I was really loving those 6-7 hour stretches before. I feel like I am not getting any of my children the attention they need right now since I am seeing them a lot less than when I wasn't working. Hopefully I can get into a good routine soon it's been crazy busy the last few weeks and get them more quality time. Pumping is going well. Other than it just in general sucks dragging all that stuff around everyday and the bottle washing.

Love the baby pics Eames, lemondrop, and jewelsofthenile. You’d think I don’t stare at a baby all day since I squee when I see those sweet baby cheeks. We’ve been good. I have about a month until I go back to work and I’m absolutely dreading it. I don’t want to go!

Does anyone have the owelet sock? I do, and the camera Do you have issues with the sock going off saying it’s not in place when it hasn’t moved? Last night was my first one using it and that happened twice so I’m just curious. Also, when an alert goes off is the only way to make the music stop to turn the base off?

Also, when an alert goes off is the only way to make the music stop to turn the base off? I have had constant issues with both the camera and the sock. I actually have had replacements sent to me of both items at this time and there are still issues. I spent most of a full week of maternity leave on the phone with tech support. All the way to spending a ton of time on the phone with my router company trying to get it connected. It is now working to some degree but it also...isn't. Yes it does go off a lot when the sock is on and it gives me the song alarm where it says the sock isn't in place. One of the employees at customer service told me the camera isn't working well yet for android which also annoys be because why sell it to android users?? The connected care app also only is available for apple which also annoys me. I basically hate everything about Owlet and I am glad that I wound up paying $250 for the camera and the sock together because of the company making an error on my exchange that I did not bring to their attention. (Instead of $400.) If you can return yours, I would. These are my feelz. 🤣 Oh and to make the noise stop I press the middle of the base station and then turn it back on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@bex15 I am glad he didn't have whooping cough!
So many cute babies! We just got internet back after it being out since sunday and of course it was a holiday monday. The person came this morning and it was just a cable that was disconnected by my husband when he was reorganizing the desk. I kept asking him if he knocked something and he said he didn't and was getting frustrated by me asking. I gave him I knew it was you and I was right look haha. R is doing awesome. So many smiles and giggles and is rolling onto her tummy. She is trying to move forward to get toys she loses but just kind of makes a mermaid style flop move. She is pretty chill which is great bc dd1 and dd2 need a bit more attention right now. They usually play awesome together but sometimes they just are at each other fighting all day and it is exhausting. We usually play outside a lot but the humidity this week is making it hard.

So glad your LO didn’t have whooping cough bex15! Such a cutie!! Major eye roll to your H Wicket! Glad it was an easy fix though. DD is 3.5 months, and she hasn’t rolled over yet. Everyday I keep thinking today is the day, but nothing yet!

What does everyone’s current day look like in re: feeding?
I’m possibly taking another position so Max is going to head to daycare next month. We’ve been very relaxed with timelines for feeding/ sleeping, and I feel like we need to get on a more structured schedule before he starts.
So far he eats every 3-4 hours, sleeps when he wants (usually a half hour here and there) and gets a ton of one on one stimulation. He gets fed around 9-10pm, is up between 1-2am for a feeding, and is generally up for the day between 6-7am. He’s got a case of FOMO, and rarely wants to close his eyes (dear God, please let #2 love sleep).
Is the eat/play/sleep structure the best to use? Trying to feed every 2-3 hours instead so he sleeps longer at night? Giving him more solo time?
He was supposed to go to daycare at 6 weeks so I feel so so so lucky that I got to take more time with him, but I think we may have fucked up not getting him on a schedule before now.

I’m getting nervous for the 4 month leap/sleep regression. Is it as awful as I’ve heard?

lemondrop M really still isn’t on a schedule but his daycare has been very understanding about that and say that’s just how it normally is at this age.

Boys are on a 7/10/1/4/7 feed schedule. Snack bottle sometimes at either 3:30 am or 5 am, whenever each wakes up.
About to try to swap to only 4 bottles a day (they're up to 7 ounces each bottle! And L takes 8 oz before bed, so I feel like with the 5 bottles, that it's a LOT of formula. Especially once I start food at the end of the month)

lemondrop, DS is on a 6x/day schedule, but the only bottle that is at a fixed time is the bedtime bottle (7:30). He usually wakes up around the same time every morning and will go approx. 3 hours between feedings, but sometimes it varies if he sleeps in. I don't think you need to worry too much, infant daycare providers are magicians and your DS should naturally fall into a routine once he starts.

I think your kiddo was born the day before mine - how much is he taking in each bottle? M is taking 5 ounces, which at 6-7x a day, I feel like might be too much? Is he sleeping through the night? I don’t want to compare too much, M is a tank (he weighs around 15lbs and will be 3 months on Saturday). But I’d love to drop that middle of the night feeding.

lemondrop Our schedule is similar to grover. 7/7:30am Wake and eat 8:30am nap (in the car, taking big sis to school and any errands I need to run) 10:30am Eat 11/12 nap (usually 2 hour nap) 1:30/2 eat 3/4 nap (shorter nap) 5pm eat 6:30 nap 7:30 bath 8 eat and bed Obviously this is just my outline of schedule and she some days she has a different plan for the day. Every now and then she’ll add an extra feeding in.

He eats 4.5-5 oz per feeding. MH has tried to get him to take more but he won't. He doesn't STTN, he wakes for a bottle around 4:00 am. TBH I'm not comfortable trying to drop it yet because he's still barely 11 lbs. Your DS is bigger so I don't think those amounts sound like too much.
