I'm v excited and ready to leave first trimester behind. The last few weeks, I have begun to feel better overall; I have more energy and it FEELS GOOD to move my body, even if I can't do as much as I could before. What about you? I'd love to use this thread as an ongoing source of accountability and motivation.
Are you making time for exercise? How often?
Are you taking classes or working out at home?
What does your routine look like?
What are your fitness goals through pregnancy?

Are you making time for exercise? How often? I do something eveyday: Zumba (2-3x time a week) and run the other days. Are you taking classes or working out at home? I go to Zumba classes and run at home on the treadmill. What does your routine look like? My running has slowed way down which I expected but bummed that it happened so soon. I shoot for 3 or 4 miles. What are your fitness goals through pregnancy? I'm aiming to stay active until the very end. Last pregnancy I was able to Zumba until the day before my CS, so I am hoping to do that again. I would love to run the Turkey trot this year but that might be too lofty of a goal.

I can't per doctor's orders since my first came early. I wish I could though. One of my big hesitations with getting pregnant again was gaining weight. I don't really lose weight while nursing and hold on to the weight for months (like 10 months with my second) after weaning. I'm sure staying active throughout would help, but baby's health is more important.

My goal is to exercise 4 times a week.
I work in a beautiful neighborhood that is perfect for walking, so I try to get out in the morning or at lunchtime when the weather is nice. Yesterday I walked about a little over a mile; most days I like to do two miles. I've also been doing the Yoga with Adriene prenatal video for first trimester 2–3 times a week. I'm excited to check out the second trimester video next week.
And starting this Saturday I'm enrolled in a six-week prenatal Pilates mat class.
I gained 50 pounds in my first pregnancy, and M was so big (over 10 pounds) and I have a very short torso, and I had a really difficult time at the end. Would I like to control my weight gain better this time? Yes. But overall I want to take care of my body in the ways that I can, so I feel better.

The first trimester really knocked me off my exercise routine so I’m edging back into it. I am aiming for 4 days a week right now and maybe will up it if I’m feeling good. I either walk about 3 miles or do a workout video.
This one is great. My legs definitely feel it for awhile.
Denise Austin has a few prenatal ones on YouTube too, I think.

I need to get back into doing prenatal yoga on a consistent and daily basis. Not only for the movement but because I know it will be helpful in reducing my anxiety and stress levels.

I’ve been slacking on workouts this pregnancy, big time. Previously I’d been doing about 5 a week, but then first tri hit and I stopped. Ideally I’d like to get 30 mins of cardio/strength (or go walk for 45 mins) 4-5 times a week. There’s some popsugar workouts on YouTube that I really like- and they all have modifications- so now I just need to find the motivation to get back into it. I reeeeeaaalllyyyy don’t want to gain 50 lbs with this baby like I did with the other two. elle sorry you’re feeling stressed lately. Exercise helps my anxiety too, and I can’t seem to get out of this funk to do something about it.

I did ~30 mins of prenatal strength training! It was a decent workout, minus a few kid interruptions (to be expected in an afternoon workout).
Anyone else get some exercise in today?

I normally do a HIIT workout 2x a week and walk on the treadmill at incline 2 other days. I have been traveling the past two weeks, so I've just been focusing on getting in at least 10k steps. I stopped exercising during my first two pregnancies and am determined to keep going this time.

I'm just going to post videos I find and do in case anyone needs them. This one has been around for awhile and is super cheesy and easy going, but there's lots of room to modify it if you want to make it more difficult. I like it because it is only 20 mins and it goes quickly!
