1.What are your 9 months stats/measurements? 18 pounds (46%), 27 3/4 inches (50%), head circumference is 15%
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing? What size diapers? Mostly 12 month clothes, size 3 diapers
3. What does your 9 month old like? Dislike? Likes: crawling around and trying to stand up on things, anything big sister is doing, baths, eating everything. Dislikes: getting put in her car seat, laying on her back for diaper changes, nursing when there is any kind of distraction.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW?
Not an AW but she has been referred to speech therapy to get evaluated. She doesn't really repeat noises, doesn't have any words with meaning, and doesn't really follow commands like come here or put it back. Dh still thinks everything is fine and he'll probably say it's crazy to take her to speech therapy but I'd rather her get evaluated and be fine then ignore it and she have problems later.

I think it's still early to worry about words with meaning and following directions. There's a range of normal so not repeating noises could be nothing to worry about either, but an evaluation never hurts. If she doesn't need therapy great, if she does - that's ok and you're already doing a great job helping her out.

Dd1's daycare provider said dd2 was right where the other babies her age were and she said she thought it was totally normal. Hopefully dd2 makes some progress in the next few months!

brenna FWIW my DS was a late talker. We had him evaluated around 20 months or so. He only had maybe a small handful of words with meaning at that time. He did not qualify for speech therapy. He really didn't start talking much until closer to two years. He's very talkative now! Having had a late talker, I wouldn't worry about it this early 😊

Hey brenna! Just to clarify, was it the 9 month old you were thinking of sending to speech therapy or an older child? I have an October baby and have just been lurking around.

brenna have you tried any sign language on her? That’s worked really well for communicating early on with my boys.

1. What are your 9 months stats/measurements? He was only 19 lbs at his last appointment so his growth has slowed down a lot and he’s often on the move and too busy to drink his bottle.
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing? What size diapers? 12 month, size 5 diapers
3. What does your 9 month old like? Dislike? He loves his older brother, loves climbing and crawling everywhere, books and story time specifically with dad.
He dislikes the pool, baths all the sudden and diaper changes
4. Anything else you'd like to AW? He’s the sweetest and he fits into our life so well. I’m pretty sure he’s our last so I’m trying to soak up every minute. He’s eating real foods now, but doesn’t have any teeth yet. He loves eggs, yogurt, pb toast, green beans, bananas, pickles, pasta.

Dd1's daycare taught her a few signs and they helped a lot for her even though she was ahead with communication so I should probably get on it.

brenna that's interesting! I've never heard of it with someone that young barring more serious (not the word I want but my brain is tired and can't think of what I mean) issues. I hope it all works out. I mostly lurk the general board. I have definitely noticed it's pretty dead on this board!

I have definitely noticed it's pretty dead on this board! pretty much everyone I've talked to had said it seems strange that at 9 months she'd already be referred to speech therapy. I lurk the general board too but I'm too scared to participate haha.

1. What are your 9 months stats/measurements?16lbs 8 oz, they didn’t measure him because they didn’t want to take the helmet off.
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing? What size diapers? 6months, I put 9 months on him too but a lot of it looks huge.
3. What does your 9 month old like? Dislike? Likes to be held, bath time is his favorite and being outdoors. Dislikes being put down or walked away from.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW? We are 8 weeks post op- still seeing a couple of specialist and we are in and out of the hospital trying to determine and treat his pulmonary hypertension. He has 6 teeth, crawling all over and pulling up and cruising furniture. No signs of taking any time soon and we are still working on sleeping thought the night.

1. What are your 9 months stats/measurements? 19 lb 10.5 oz and 28 in long, I was expecting him to be over 20 lbs but the ped is happy with his growth
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing? What size diapers? mostly 9M but moving into 12M, Size 4 diapers but has started leaking so soon to be Size 5s
3. What does your 9 month old like? Dislike? Likes: food, playing with big brother, racing to the dog bowl, pulling to stand; Dislikes - being hungry or tired, being dropped off at daycare, mom leaving the room
4. Anything else you'd like to AW? MH was rolling a ball to him on the floor Tuesday and 3 or 4 times DS2 grabbed it then put it down and pushed it back. Once or twice would have been a neat coincidence, but 3-4 times tells me he was purposefully rolling the ball back to MH. It was really cool to witness!

Almost forgot - we had our appt this past Tuesday.
1. What are your 9 months stats/measurements? 18 lbs 14 oz (60%) 28.5 inches (79%)
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing? What size diapers? Mostly 9 month clothes. But she can still fit in some stretchy 6 month stuff and has some 12 month pants. The weather has been so weird here so I've been holding off on buying summer stuff cause I haven't been sure what size she'll need. Size 3 diapers during the day and 4s at night.
3. What does your 9 month old like? Dislike? Likes exploring and dragging herself all around the house! She's loving practicing pulling up. Thinks her brother is good fun. Likes all of her brother's toys, and the dog's... Yuck! Both of my kids have been obsessed with the dog toys. I'm constantly having to snatch up dog toys before she eats them. She really likes the big bath tub. When I'm filling the tub for bath time she fights to get out of my arms to go pull up at the tub. She likes feeding herself and playing with her sippy cup a d her spoon. Still likes to be carted around frequently. Loves her momma.
Dislikes - most everyone other than me, dad and brother. She doesn't like for anyone else to hold her. Or look at her... She gets really upset when I take away something she wants to play with 😄 I can't believe she's already old enough for that! Her little fit is kinda cute! And if I try to replace the item I'm taking away with one of her own toys, she'll keep throwing the replacement toy in frustration! Haha! One day she even cried when I told her "no"! If she decides she wants to be picked up and carted around, she HATES it if you don't cater to her desires at that very instant.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW?

I was like well, I guess this is starting already...

1. What are your 9 months stats/measurements?
27 3/4 inches and 18 pounds 5 oz
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing?
I just moved her up to 12 months because that’s when M was in summer clothes and getting some of the 9 month stuff over her head was getting a little tight.
What size diapers?
She’s in a 3 but I think our next amazon order I’ll bump it up to a 4.
3. What does your 9 month old like?
Mom. Her family, going to daycare. Crawling around the house and starting to pull up. Food, so far she has enjoyed everything we have offered her.
Dislike? Napping longer than an hour. Her teeth coming in.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW?

I have a 9 month old today!!!
1. What are your 9 months stats/measurements? 20lbs 3.5oz 29inches 17.75 head circumference
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing? What size diapers? 12-18months clothes Size 4 diaper but needs to move up to 5's soon.
3. What does your 9 month old like? Dislike? Likes nursing, hates diaper changes. Likes being worn, hates being told no.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW?
He's walking!!!! Now he walks all the time. Not more than 5 or so steps at once but he walks between things and to me or something he wants. If it's too far, he just crawls instead. His top tooth is finally coming in.

We finally have 9 month stats! Had his appointment last night and the Dr said he's a peanut, but doing great!
1. What are your 9 months stats/measurements? 16 lb, 14 oz (7th percentile), 27 inches (4th percentile), head was 45th percentile lol.
2. What size clothes is your 9 month old wearing? What size diapers? He's in 6-9 months size clothes, size 3 diapers.
3. What does your 9 month old like? Dislike? He loves food and feeding himself. He also loves singing, getting into everything, putting everything in his mouth, playing with his sister, and bothering the dogs. He's a super happy little dude and a total social butterfly- we go out and he smiles and laughs at everyone. He does not like teething, and gets mad if you take too long getting him his food or milk.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW? He has 5 teeth (two bottom, three top) and is trying to walk
