DS2 is sleeping 1 good stretch at night, but every single time after he nurses at night he poops. So we have to wake him up for a diaper change, and then he is up, wide awake. So I am up for a while middle of the night, glad you started this thread!

I'm glad you started this thread, I'll definitely be back here tonight! DS is already a month old so I'm getting pretty good stretches of sleep but he seems to have one longer wake up around 2 and it's soo hard to stay awake for that one.
@starzia, I hope you're not getting sick and you get some sleep soon.
I'm not sick but the back and neck pain is no joke. I have such a bad habit of feeding DS all hunched over and it's killing my back. I'm trying to work on sitting up straight when I feed him but it's so hard when I'm so tired.

DS slept from 9-1 and now he is so hungry and has been nursing for 30 minutes. I might start limiting his sleeping to 3 hours max so he doesn't get too hungry and want to nurse for so long when he wakes up.
I'm still getting use to what a noisy sleeper DS is. He just makes a ton of noise rolling around and grunting all night.

I think I have too high a flow on one side. He always cries, and has milk coming out the sides of his mouth when he is on my right side. Not sure if it is something that will get better over time. I feel bad for him, it is obviously really frustrating for him, and he gets a lot of air, so it makes him uncomfortable. I hope it slows down over time.

@starzia, I went to my first LLL meeting ever today, and it was recommended that I unlatch for my let down, and then let him re-latch after the spraying goes down. It still comes out really fast, but it might give him a chance to keep up better. And if that does not work, trying a reclined back nursing position, to reduce flow a bit. I did try the reclined back nursing, and that seemed to help, but we were both a bit awkward, but maybe we will get better at it.

Anyone remember, or know, about how long the night sweats last?

Anyone remember, or know, about how long the night sweats last? I'm almost 6 weeks postpartum and I'm still getting night sweats. It's been so bad this time around. Also, TMI, but for some reason when I sweat now it smells so bad. I'm taking two showers a day and reapplying deodorant several times throughout the day but I still feel like I smell. After my first pregnancy the deodorant I had been using for years suddenly stopped working for me, and it looks like that may be happening again.

sunny75, it is so much worse for me this time around as well. Not sure why so many things get worse in later pregnancies, so frustrating.

He is finally not pooping every feeding, so trying to do diaper changes before middle of the night feedings, hopefully things are easier this way. More awake feedings,.and less.awake after feedings. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed. Same here, it's making nights a little easier. We're also going through fewer diapers which is nice!
