H is eating non stop the past few days, but at least it's just during the day. Is there a growth spurt around....13? weeks? Shoot I don't remember if he's 13 or 14 weeks

Shoot I don't remember if he's 13 or 14 weeks I always blamed everything on a growth spurt or sleep regression. In fact at 4 years old we are still working through the 4 month sleep regression😜 ... sorry not helpful lol.

Why do I feel like such a FTM in some areas lol 4 years really isn’t that long ago! So R is six weeks today. We are super active outside and not especially with my 4 year old we can’t avoid it. Do we do sunscreen at this age?! Just keep him in the shade I feel lost.

I want to say they can’t wear it until 6 months?

nmom I think still too young for sunscreen. I had to google yesterday when they can sit in a regular stroller because I had no clue. I swear I’ve done this before!

I asked the pediatrician about the sunscreen. They said obviously to stay in the shade when you can but if you are going to be in a situation where they will be exposed even in the shade (like the beach) It's better for them to have the protection. She said a lot of the no sunscreen recs are because they don't want people taking the little babies out in the sun all day and thinking it's ok.

Put it on if you can’t avoid sun exposure but shade is better.

And teething Speaking of I think i see the tooth buds on the bottom for this guy. I'm not too surprised because DD got her first teeth at 4 months.

Has anyone stopped swaddling? I keep getting nervous that M is going to roll in his sleep so I’m starting with one arm out tonight.

Sorry for being a downer, but we laid my grandma to rest today. My little sweet babies have already attended two funerals in their short little lives. Grandma had kidney issues in September and multiple strokes, so we knew we were living on borrowed time, but her son (my uncle) was killed in March the day before the twins were born so we think it was a broken heart on top of the previous issues. We also returned the snoos, and the boys are sharing a crib. They like to sleep side by side- if we put them at opposite ends of the same crib they land up next to each other on their own accords. Its totally sweet and my mom is being a buzzkill about how hard it will be to break them of sleeping together eventually. I'm on summer break, but it's been a downer so far. Here's hoping we start getting some better weather so we can do fun stuff outside!

I’m so sorry for your loss grover. That is adorable about your boys. Did you do the weaning feature on the Snoo? I think we are going to try and transition next month. Also, mh is a twin and him and his sister always slept snuggled as babies. They’ll be fine!

Has anyone stopped swaddling? I keep getting nervous that M is going to roll in his sleep so I’m starting with one arm out tonight. How did it go? I dread the day I have to stop swaddling He did really well! Slept the same as he has been. He ended up rolling over to basically face down when he was squirming because his stomach hurt about halfway through the night so I put both arms out. This morning he rolled again but isn’t able to get back, is this normal? It doesn’t seem intentional, like he doesn’t try during the day so I get nervous he’ll get stuck face down and not be able to breathe.

I think once they can roll it means they're old enough to turn their heads if they couldn't breathe/etc.

Heh heh. Yeah I'm pretty sure after E the hair loss lasted for the better part of the year. I just chopped a few inches off last weekend and so it kind of feels like I'm losing less now 😂 but I bought a tub shroom last month because it's ridiculous. I have to clean it after every shower or the water doesn't drain during the next 😐
