doodlemommy How exciting about your AS!! Do you know the sex of the baby yet? Let us know how it goes, and good luck keeping your crazy schedule down! Nope, we are team green for the third time We have a boy and a girl already so clothing wise we are set and baby will be rooming with us for at least the first 6 months so DS will stay in the nursery so we don’t really have much to do anyways. I will pull out and wash both the boy and girl newborn clothes and then once baby is here we will pull the rest 🤷🏽♀️

My mom and I are getting a pedi and then going to see Aladdin. I really should be home cleaning up the house for Monday but 🤷🏻♀️ My feet have been neglected.

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. I’m at work and very tired because we ended up having our offer accepted on the house we wanted. Now we just have to sell ours 😬 and go through the home inspection. doodlemommy I’m tired just reading that and I’m not even pregnant. I hope your AS goes well. curmudgeon That’s a terrible situation, I hope you guys can find care for your little guy and figure out how to get him to stop. Maybe a change of scenery will help?

But ugh, finding summer care is the hardest part.

August Blooms Congrats on the accepted offer! I wish you luck on selling your house speedily. Excited about your move - I know this is something you guys have been considering for a long time. Will it cut down your commute time?

curmudgeon I somehow skipped over the daycare stuff from earlier this week but I’m so sorry. Ugh. That sucks a lot and I don’t have a lot to offer other than I’m sorry. I know the pain of finding childcare and having to do it on such short notice is stressful. Sorry.

I am loving the summer weather we’ve been having here... I am not loving the amount of laundry that comes from it. Dirt and popsicles and sweat and sunscreen... so much to wash all the time (including more baths for the girls!). Or maybe it’s just our house 🤷♀️
But still loving the sunshine though! ☀️

I am looking to book a last-minute beach trip with my mom and the kids next weekend. The only things left are bigger condos that cost a fortune. I'm determined to find that perfect, last-chance, small room! In other news, DS's new favorite word is "Yeah". Or, more specifically "YAH!". "DS, are you ready to eat" - "YAH!" "DS, you want to take a bath" - "YAH!" It's so cute. Same here... lots of yes and yah ing over here too! ....also lots of no mama no mama

bootsorhearts1 is your neighborhood on next door? Can you ask for recos? We found it difficult to find fence people and landscapers. I found my landscaper on houzz actually and he turned out great, he also was the 2 out of 6 which could provide a detailed estimate. Out fence guy is a joke 😡 he was supposed to start work last October! If H hadn’t given him a deposit we’d have seeked out someone else.

DS doesn’t like dips 🤷🏻♀️ But I suppose we don’t really dip anything at home and I’m not certain we even have ketchup 😬😂 hubs hates it. I like it but I can’t get through a bottle so I just never bothered stocking up. Guesss we’re weirdos.

cythe just catching up... I feel for you and everything everyone said already. Does your cryo bank have an annual discount fee? Ours did and we saved some, not a whole lot but something. We actually got reimbursed back for the months left in the term after we transferred. Also I read recently that NY state has mandated employers to provide fertility coverage - look into it? Also it’s really really hard at this time dealing with the unknown. Did you PGS your embryos? It is really really good to hear E can move and lift her legs and is great with her other fine motor. Praying and hoping big that she can be treated. My sister eldest as you know is SN and she did say that if it wasn’t for my mother around to help, she wouldn’t have decided to try for another. That said, my nephew is affected all around, very much like CP. she also said that she felt he needed a sibling to be with him in his later life - both her and BIL are older parents like me and Hubs. To be honest I’m not sure if she wouldn’t felt differently if my nephew had been dx since the probability was high that 2nd nephew would be the same. He’s perfect y normal except that he carries the mutated gene and is able to pass it on like my sister. I’m thankful for our boys so now my nephew has 2 more people I will make sure will be with him later. It’s a hard decision no Mayer what. Big big hugs.

Little miss woke up with a 101 fever this morning and we’ve been giving her Tylenol all day and now for the last few hours she’s been just fine. No meds, no fever and tearing up the place. I don’t get it. Usually the fever starts late day?

Mini rant (which I’m pretty sure I’ve had this exact one here before):
We’re up at in-laws for a cookout. It’s now past 7:00. DD2 is melting down so I brought her into MILs house to give her a bath and put her jammies on before we leave soon. MIL and SIL want to know why she can’t stay up late just this once since it’s a holiday.... sure in-laws. I’ll tell her she can stay up late and we’ll see if that stops the incoming tantrums right now.
We really did try to let her nap extra hoping it would buy us some time and I really would love to stay to let DD1 play with her cousins because at 4 she is much better able to handle staying up later. These people sometimes 😑😑😑

E got bit by a bug today on her neck and her poor little neck bled for a while. It was so sad. I think its okay, it was just a small dot when i checked it before bed but this is new territory for me.
I saw the bug and it didnt look like anything i should be concerned abiut about but damn if it didnt bleed, probably like the same amount as if youd nick your leg shaving. I was surprised.

So I feel like I've been MIA for a while. I started work middle of last week and it has been utterly insane. I was put on a shotgun project almost immediately and it was so stressful that I think I had my first panic/anxiety attack and couldn't sleep last Monday night. It was rather horrible. It didn't;t help that I had to rush to get DS after work to get him dinner and ready for his PreK graduation ceremony and practically ran a mile up hill trying not to slip in the wet snow and then had to rush home to bath both kids and put them to bed then had to work some more. It sucks that I often get called to do the impossible. Anyways it's over for now until next week. danvers 2 acres is a lot to care for, maybe with the girls off to daycare during the summer, you can plan to work on it some? We barely have any land and yet it's just so much work with 2 littles. I've lost so so many plants, I looked around this weekend and I've lost almost 50% and I had over 60 plant cultivars. Anyways hubs and I got quite a bit done this weekend, weeding, mulching and I managed to pot up a dozen annual pots - I didn't;t realize I had so many and pre-kids it really wasn't a big deal but I hope I can keep them watered and alive - at least DS can now sort of help me water plants hah! Speaking of kids, both kiddos are running a temp, hoping that lil fella's is due to teething while DS' is definitely from his cold and cough - the poor kid can't catch a break. cythe...oh no...poor E, that sounds awful, the only bug I've gotten bitten that draws blood are horse flies and some sort of biting fly. Hopefully she didn't notice and wasn't bothered. Taitai glad that DS2 tooth was successfully repaired. BTW I just finished reading Crazy Rich Asians...I can't wait to watch the movie now. Hoping the writers are able to translate it to screen well. Just have to find time to actually sit down and watch it. August Blooms congratulations! hope you can get through the sale and move swiftly and without too much drama.

bootsorhearts1 Bummer about the fever- I hope it’s just a fluke. If she’s running around and acting normally, hopefully that means it will just go away. cythe Poor E! If it’s a spider bite and starts to swell or discolor, you can draw a circle around it with a sharpie to determine whether it’s getting worse. Hopefully it won’t come to that, but living in Southeast Asia has taught me some things about bug bites 😩 duskymonkey You will like the Crazy Rich Asians movie if you enjoyed the book. Excited for you to see it! Are you going to read the other two in the series? Also, sorry to hear if’s has been crazy! I hope things calm down a bit at work. curmudgeon I’ve been meaning to comment on how sorry I am about your DS1’s school situation. Are there any summer camps or playschool type activities he can do this summer while he takes a break from his normal daycare? So sorry again that you have to deal with this.

duskymonkey glad the stressful project is over. You must be really good if you’re the one they call in those situations! So there’s that. Also where are you that’s there’s still snow???? I guess I’ve been out of the Midwest too long but dayum! It’s almost June!

Well the fever came back somewhat today and she’s been clingy and wanting to nurse all day. By 3pm I was in tears because I had a blister on one nipple and I was touched out. I took a break and played some Stardew valley while DH chased the kids. 😂
Hope everyone else had a better Memorial Day!

Good news guys, I talked to my neighbor today and he helped me identify the bug that bit E yesterday. He called it a black fly, small harmless dickbag that makes people bleed when they bite. Thankfully the insect lifespan is super short and they really only live for a few weeks here in NY

I’ve been but a few times in my life so I know from experience. It’s black fly season here too, by mid June hopefully they are gone. Glad it’s nothing!
