brenna When I went to the restaurant the other night where DS was born, I had leftover filet mignon and DD looooved eating my leftovers. We normally eat cheap steak. I'm worried she will begin to have expensive taste. 😜 Lol!

Well looks we need to drop the crib mattress today. I put DS2 in his crib while I did some stuff in his room and he pulled up to standing twice.

We have our first word!!!! He's saying "mama"!!!! He repeats it too if you say it to him. I caught it on video. What a great 7 month bday present! Lol! I doubt he knows what it means, but he knows I say it all the time.

An older neighbor lady saw us walking with the girls today and thought dd2 was a boy and said "oh that's awesome you have one of each!" I said nope she's a girl and she said "oh that's too bad you didn't get a boy like I'm sure you wanted." I didn't know what to say I was just like 😮. Do people really think I'm going to be like oh ya I really wish my daughter was a son? I never thought I'd have two girls but I'm SO happy we do! I was very wtf about it but of course dh thought nothing of it haha.

Ugh brenna we get the "oh, you have a rich man's family!" thing when people see/find out we have one of each. I usually say I would have been happy and still done with two girls (and thought for the first 4 months of my pregnancy that C was another girl). So freaking annoying. Like, I get it if people really want one of each, or they have a third because they really want a boy or girl, but I feel like the majority of people are not obsessed with that and are happy with the kids they have, whether or not they have one of each gender.

We're all sick again. Or maybe still sick? And of course we had a ton of people over for a BBQ on Sunday, so now they're all exposed. C spiked a fever yesterday afternoon of 102.9, and was coughing and all boogery over night, and DD was coughing last night as well. I've had a lingering sore throat for over a week that I attributed to allergies, but it's worse today and I've started wheezing/coughing. Going to hit the urgent care at lunchtime to get checked out since it's been a week already. I'm at work, but I wouldn't get rest at home, anyway.

Verdict is sinus infection. At least I have antibiotics now, hopefully it kills whatever is making me miserable.

Dd2 keeps pooping about a half hour into her naps and then refuses to go back to sleep. It's driving me crazy and then she's so grumpy! Grrrr

Dd2 is sick too ☹️ I'm definitely improved from yesterday, although not yet 100%, but I don't feel like a zombie today. C is sick, he's had a fever on and off since monday evening and has been coughing and congested. And I think he's teething again (top teeth this time), which may be adding to it. MH said he's pretty cranky today. I'm so tired of being sick and having sick kids

DD is 9 months old today! Getting her 9 month photo was not easy and I might have to try again tomorrow. The last two years for Father's day I've had dd1 hold the letters D A D and took pictures of her. Last year was hard but I think this year it's going to be a miracle if we get any good pictures.

I keep meaning to take C's 7 month photo (now 9 days late), but either I forget to do it when he's in a good mood or he's cranky and sick. Maybe tonight? #secondchildproblems

Ugh. My pumping output has tanked this week. I replaced all my pump parts and that didn't help so I'm now looking at my well-being. I've been up later than usual each night this week, stressing about money, and think I may have picked up a cold from DS1 (that teaches me to give in and let him take a sip from my water bottle). Each of those alone can impact supply so I have a feeling the 3 combined must be the culprit. Not to mention the stress from a reduced supply can also cause a drop in supply so I imagine I'm just making things worse. Originally I thought it was my oversupply finally regulating, but I've now dropped below where I think "regulated" would be. I know I'm very fortunate to have made it this long without having to deal with this but it's freaking me out. I nursed DS1 to 18 months before he self-weaned and I was hoping to make it just as long this time around.

Update: still have not taken C's photo. Also, His top two teeth are definitely breaking through any day now. Which means he'll have gotten 4 teeth in the span of less than 3 weeks. Please send thoughts and prayers for my nipples.

I first PP period my supply tanked for a few days right before. Calcium and Magnesium is supposed to help with that. Can you add an extra pump session before you go to bed or first thing in the morning?

I wonder if I still have some cal+mag at home from when it came back after DS1 just in case. My go to suggestion is always drink more water, but that is not helping at the moment either. I have enough in my freezer to support a temporary dip, but I'll have to think about an extra session outside work if it keeps up.

Nymeria with dd1 I always stressed so much about how much I was pumping (which was hardly anything). Hopefully your supply bounces back soon!
