Week/EDD: 32w4d / June 20
Baby is the size of: Florida Pomelo
FTM, Etc: Stm
Team: blue
Appointments: None this week
Milestones: ?
Symptoms: Exhaustion, heartburn if I don’t take Zantac every night. Uncomfortable
Rants: I’m tired and my patience for DS has been fairly low, which results in a cycle of him misbehaving and me not reacting as well as I should.
Raves: Baby kicks/movement are fun again and don’t feel like I’m getting beat up.
I found a city mini double stroller for $25 this weekend- it isn’t perfect, but will certainly work for the few times we will probably actually use it (DS will be 4 in July, but having a place for him to be contained when we’re somewhere busy will be helpful- especially when it’s just me and the boys)

Week/EDD: 38+4. May 9
Baby is the size of: a spaghetti squash
STM
Team green
Appointments: RCS on Thursday
Milestones: the last few days of this pregnancy
Symptoms: I had a burst of energy this weekend and finished the last of my to do list. Now I'm just anxiously waiting
Also TMI warning but has anybody had diarrhea towards the end of pregnancy? I was all prepared to take stool softeners leading up to my c section to avoid post op constipation but I've been having the opposite problem for a few weeks now.
Rants: DH is insisting his parents stay at our house while we are in the hospital. I had already arranged for my brother to stay at our house to take care of our animals like he usually does when we travel. For some reason it's really annoying me. They can stay at a hotel for once!
Raves: I just can't believe we'll be meeting this baby in a few days. And I'm really excited to find out if it's a boy or a girl.

sunny75- I don’t have personal experience, but I thought I had heard diarrhea was part of your body preparing for labor? Not sure since I had to be induced with my first.

sunny75, diarreia was definitely a pre labor thing for me with my first, and I have read that is somewhat normal. Your body is clearing out in preparation.

Week/EDD: 36w 1d
Baby is the size of: Romaine lettuce
FTM, Etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Thursday, ultrasound, GBS swab, etc. Get to see if the baby is sideways still, check on my BP, and hopefully iron out some labor plans.
Milestones: Stretch marks are starting to color in, yay. Hospital bag is packed and ready to go, bag is packed for DS1.
Symptoms: I'm huge. And tired.
Rants: Nesting in full swing, and I'm wondering how in the hell I'm going to keep two babies alive and not let my house fill with trash and dirty dishes and toys. Seriously. I'm too tired to do the bare minimum now, how will I do it with a newborn and a toddler spreading toys and sippy cups everywhere. If I have another CS, how will I keep my head above water if I can't even vacuum or pick up toys for weeks?
Raves: Getting close, and I'm so tired of being pregnant.

Week/EDD: 34+4, due June 6
Baby is the size of: a cantaloupe
FTM, Etc: FTM
Team: 💙
Appointments: next Friday
Milestones: set up the bassinet in our room, one step closer to being ready!
Symptoms: tired, achy, some stretch marks and varicose veins
Rants: I’ve been trying to get my breast pump ordered, and my insurance requires a prescription from the OB. I talked to her about it over 2 weeks ago, she wrote down all the info, but apparently hasn’t faxed it to the supplier yet. So I have to call tomorrow and find out what’s going on. So frustrating.
Raves: we’re getting closer to being ready! Plus, just a few more weeks of school and then I can focus on preparing at home instead of dealing with grading!

I am so worried about keeping up with the house too. I mean I know the important things like taking care of the baby and toddler will get done, but I'm the type that gets so stressed and anxious with a dirty house. And with two dogs in the house, and not having a dishwasher, it is really hard just to keep up with day to day necessities even without a baby. Hopefully we will both figure it out somehow! If anybody offers to help me this time around I'm definitely going to take them up on the offer!

sunny75, I’m also worried about keeping up with the house! H tries to help, but he definitely has a different tolerance for clutter and mess than I do. When my parents are here the first couple weeks, I know they’ll help a lot. My mom did so much to help when they were out in January! But I’m not sure what lwe’ll do after that. We’ve started making lists of chores and stuff, because I know with H the more we talk about it ahead of time the more likely he is to be able to help without getting overwhelmed.

courtniko, My life would be so much easier if I could get rid of like half of DDs toys and all of DHs junk. The random clutter on top of just trying to keep up with daily chores drives me crazy.

bonzo, That's a good point about talking and making lists. My DH is the same way, mostly helpful but not very good at prioritizing and also does not have the same threshold for cleaning as I do. My mom is pretty helpful but it's like I have to ask her specifically for each and everything I need help with and after a while I start to feel guilty and like I should just do it myself. I had a breakdown after having DD because I just needed my carpets vacuumed so bad but DD would never let me put her down and then my mom couldn't figure out how to use my vacuum. I'm hoping to avoid a repeat of that this time around lol. I think my mom still thinks I'm crazy after that.

sunny75, wow, we're twins. Two dogs, two kids, no dishwasher, DH has a bunch of clutter... haha I had to learn to sweep one handed because DS refused to be put down too. It was pretty rough until he could ride facing outward in a carrier, because that's the only time he was ever happy. I really, really have to utilize the hour after I put DS down for bed. I HAVE to force myself to get things done in that time, otherwise I'm asleep on the couch and suddenly we're going to bed, and nothing gets done for days and days. I have a list of stuff to run over and get done in that time and it seems to keep things together. But the physical aspect has been rough lately, and I see that continuing for a few weeks, on top of an infant and toddler.

37 + 2
Boy; STM.
So glad to be term! If he comes now, we are ready.
Heartburn- taking omeprazole every other day and that’s helping. Tums make the constipation worse but the omeprazole helps and I don’t usually need them.
I’m so uncomfortable in general. My belly is so sore- feels like it’s bruised all the time. And my mid-back is bugging me (not usually low back).
I’m still exercising almost daily but I’ve cut the workouts to 20 min and heavy on the modifications but yoga helps the aches so much.
Work is getting rough- busy busy schedule of patients. I have two full weeks planned (this week included) and then a week of half days so there is an end in sight at least.
I’m group B strep negative which makes me happy.
No real rants except feeling done LoL. Excited to have this baby in the next couple of weeks.

elephantastic, yoga helps my aches too! I’ve been trying to do yoga at least 3x per week because it helps so much. What other workouts are you doing? At this point I normally feel too tired for anything else but walking!

At this point I normally feel too tired for anything else but walking! I have the Jillian Michaels app and she has prenatal work outs by trimester I’ve been doing 3x per week until last week. Last week I was sick of all the up/down off the floor so I switched to youtube prenatal workouts. I really like Body By Amy. She does fitness videos when she’s not pregnant but she has a bunch of pregnancy ones also by trimester- cardio, body weight, weights, stretching. I like hers the best so far. I’ve liked Brett Larkin for prenatal yoga on YouTube.

Week/EDD: 31, due 7/4
Baby is the size of: head of lettuce FTM, Etc: TTM
Team: Green
Appointments: Saw the OB earlier this week and she said at our next appt. we'll schedule the repeat C-section. MFM appt. on 5/15
Milestones:
Symptoms: Tired, belly is pretty sore by the end of the day, some swelling in the ankles (especially the one I sprained last month)
Rants: Could use some more energy so I can get the house ready for baby and get DD's room organized for sharing. Also stressing about weight - I was heavy to start with and have gained about fifteen pounds. Nervous how much more I'll gain and what my plan will be to lose weight and get healthier once baby arrives. I love my baby bump, just don't love the flabby arms, chubby legs, lower belly, etc.
Raves: At my appointment last month I asked if I could go back on the omeprazole/ Prilosec that I'd been on pre-pregnancy since the Zantac just wasn't cutting it and they said it was ok now that I'm 3rd tri. That has been a lifesaver. I still carry some Tums with for gas, but for now the heartburn and reflux has improved a ton.

Week/EDD: 35 + 2/ June 3
Baby is the size of: a bunch of carrots
FTM, Etc: FTM
Team: pink
Appointments: I had one this week and now go weekly
Milestones: last day of work is tomorrow, this week I got my dTap vaccine and my strep B swab
Symptoms: exhausted, can’t sleep, night time congestion, shortness of breath
Rants: my OB is done working. It happened out of the blue, no one really knows what happened, but the clinic said he’s out for an indefinite amount of time. I know someone at another office and they heard he was done, because either he was sick, or his son was sick, but no one really has any answers.
Raves: my new OB is the other doctor at the clinic. She is amazing! She is the top high risk doctor in town, which is really good, and she gave us the option of inducing at either 38 or 39 weeks. We could discuss it and let her know next week. The thought of having a baby in 3 weeks though is a little crazy!
