Easter was nice with cousin time but DD fucked up her sleeping so much and fought bedtime until 10. Dh and I then argued about how to move forward molding her bedtime back toward 8 and more independent falling asleep.
Then I had another dream where DS died so I slept like shit.
Happy Monday.

Hi! We had a good Easter. We hid 2 golden eggs with 10$ each deep in the woods for the older boys. It took em like 5 hours to find them 😂 But they had so much fun searching for treasure in the woods all day. Plus, they stayed out of my hair. So win win lol
AJ is going through a leap so he's not napping. Fun

DH is home with DD since daycare is closed. Thankfully his cousin and BFF is also off with his girls so they will get together. Jojo can play with her cousins and the guys can watch sports or something, haha. Family bowling yesterday was a lot of fun! DD thought it was hilarious every time her one uncle threw the ball, so she was entertained. I had fun, we both sucked and my hip is sore today, but that might be from the few I threw with DD on my hip!

Easter was good here! We did it on Friday as I was working all weekend. I was supposed to be at work today but got sent home after 4 hours as it was empty. So four hours to myself before I have to get the kids. I should be mopping the floors. But I think I’m going to take a nap.

ldubhawksfan what an awful dream to have. quinn good idea! My mom still hides eggs for us but they normally involve clues. Definitely take the nap snuff9861! Hi all! Easter was fun, we "hid" eggs for H to find. He was so cute putting his hands up like he didn't know, then he'd see one and run. Lots of bubbles from everyone so we're set for a week maybe lol. quinn the hat you sent last year still fit so he wore it with his Easter outfit, I'll post a pic in the private board! My mom and I took pics with H at the tulip farm Friday. I was inspired by everyone's mommy and me pics last year. It was really windy so hopefully she got a few without my hair whipping around.

Hugs for your dream, ldubhawksfan quinn - that is brilliant! Going to have to file that one away for when N is older lol Easter was nice, though N really does not like me telling him he's had enough mashed potatoes. He had fun playing at our friends' house - they found a bunch of old toys that belonged to H's godson, and they were still in good shape, so they let us have first pick before sending them to be donated. N took to one of the fire truck riders, two cars, and some indoor/outdoor tunnels you can connect together - this kid made out like a bandit lol. We didn't hide eggs this year, probably next year. I wound up with a migraine by the end of the night, but stuck it out to watch Thrones. My voice is totally shot from allergies/post-nasal drip; it's also CD2 and I'm still coughing. Today has been... uncomfortable. Only a few tears from N this morning, taking the paci before we went downstairs. Hoping another day or two and it'll just become part of the routine. He's officially moved to the toddler room, but they charged me for Infants, so I need to ask about the costs.

Hello! Busy Monday here. We had a wonderful Easter, despite some family drama from my brother/SIL.
C spiked a fever yesterday afternoon but it must’ve been from teething because he’s A-ok today.

Easter was good for us. We did egg hunts at our house and my mom's house. The girls loved it. C would grab eggs and immediately pop them open to find the candy before looking for another egg.
We were so busy all week, C had an epic meltdown yesterday evening and passed out for the night at 6pm which is a good 2-3 hours earlier than usual. She was then up from 12:30 to 3:45. And of course today was my first day back after break so it was a rough start to the last stretch of school.

Hi, ladies! I was busy with kids today. I had the day off but DCP was off, too. I actually got a lot done, including all of the laundry in the house, so that’s a nice way to start the week.
17 months is such an exhausting age. She is so sweet and funny, but my gosh. Tiring.

I was just thinking this yesterday! C is so much fun, but such a stinker. Now he knows how to push a kitchen chair around to climb up wherever he wants- like he’ll push the chair across the kitchen to the counter, climb up onto the counter, and try to get into the snack cupboard.

The idea of him climbing on a chair and then a counter is literally giving me a heart attack.

Hey! I'm around liking stuff but every time I go to post, the little one does something crazy. +Whatever to not being able to take my eyes off him. He can walk up and down the stairs now, will climb onto anything he can manage including tables, chairs, benches, couch arms, beds, you name it. He is a monster. Eating everything in sight, chatting up a storm. Chasing the cats down and then petting them. He (and ds1) pulled the gate out of the wall at the top of the stairs lmao so I can't even trap him well now 🤦 he's a runner outside and thankfully, ds1 is doing so much better on the listening front. Play therapy is amazing.
Dh's job is going well. We are still adjusting to his longer hours, but he's happier and it's more $$ so 🤷. I know he misses spending more time with the kids though.
My book side gig is going well too. I have a break between parties so I'm going to try to get myself better organized. And I'll be able to pop in here more.
Hope everyone is well 💕

The first time it happened I kind of spotted him to see how far he’d go. He’s fearless. Now I stop him as soon as he starts to push the chair across the kitchen.

DS iscrazy and loves to climb. This morning he was crawling on the kitchen table. 🤦♀️
We are thinking about changing up our trip in June. Angels rescheduled a game at Wriggly 2 days before we were flying to IA, so I had to look at my pto and clear it with my boss, but I’ll be calling southwest to see about changing our outgoing flight to Chicago. DH is really excited!

Solidarity on the climbing. E hasn’t figured out how to use a chairs as a way to get onto the counter, but she climbs on the dining chairs to stand and jump on them, or she uses them to get onto the table.

C is a climber too. She gets up on our barstools and use E's little stool to reach things. Our chairs are too heavy for her to move but she does drag the stool around.

Well ds is currently throwing the biggest tantrum I’ve heard from him because the booster seat strap is attached to the chair and can’t be dragged around. Like this is a 3 yo DD level tantrum. He should sleep well though....
