DH is delaying discussion until closer to delivery and we don't discuss names with family - so I'd like some input. Last name starts with M, both siblings start with C. All middle names are family names. Can vote on multiple names and I'd welcome suggestions.

I think Grace Evelyn would be my favorite on the list if it were Evelyn Grace, but you said middles are family.

If you got rid of Kenzie, Carson and Tenley the rest are good. Kind of can't go wrong with any of the rest. I wouldn't use another C name unless you are going for the matchy Duggar names.

No, pretty much all I have in common with the Duggars is homemade laundry detergent so that is definitely not our plan. DH thinks that I made up Tenley, which I did not, but I'd have to fight hard if I set my heart on that one.

I just hate naming someone with the intent of using another name (nickname) and I hate the NN Libby anyway. I voted accordingly.
I know no one cares. I just felt compelled to explain.

I’m with McBenny regarding the nicknames. I like to let a nickname come organically. I voted Elizabeth Mary because it’s a classic.

No, I get it - in fact we chose names for the older two that wouldn't necessarily lead to a nickname. I like Elizabeth on it's own, but if we did a nickname that would be the one I would push vs. Liz/Lizzy. I've also debated if Penny could stand on its own or if we're better off sticking with Penelope.

There's a window next to our pew in church with a portrait of Elizabeth and Mary and I'd always find myself looking at it while praying for another baby. Mary is also my sister's middle name and she's the only one of my siblings that doesn't have children of her own so it could honor her too.

I saw your post in general discussion, I’ll talk baby names all day. For a Penelope nickname I love Poppy.

I'm of the mind that you start a trend (first initial C), you stick with it because I like patterns.

Yes. I don't care for obvious nicknames as given names. I do like a nickname for a long formal name.

PDQ but Elizabeth and Mary is a part of my and my sister’s names so I am quite biased.
