We finally heard from our landlord and will be signing another 6 month lease! I’m am so happy we won’t have to move before baby is born and we will have time to really save and figure out where exactly we want to move.

That's amazing mamabear02! That must have been such a stress, I'm glad it got sorted out finally and you don't have to move immediately.

I got an SI belt finally. You're supposed to put it on laying down I guess. And let me tell you, it is doing absolute wonders for my already muffined muffin top. And it makes it hard to pee. But last week it hurt to sit, so... here we are.
Today is a gorgeous day so I'm sitting outside while DS plays with his trucks in the dirt. He keeps bringing rocks to show me. The wasps are out already though. Assholes.

@starzia, I will commiserate with you. I have about 10 weeks left and I am feeling it. I’m pretty sure baby is cuddled up with his head against my bladder so any movement on his part has me running to the bathroom, so I’m basically peeing all the time. We’re so close, yet so far...

We had our first nanny interview today. We like her a lot so far, but of course need to interview a few more too. I’m really hoping we find the perfect fit so I can check this off the list and feel confident about who will be taking care of baby when I go back to work!

@starzia I have 11 weeks left and I'm feeling the same. I had to work up the will power to walk down stairs today to put something away:/

I am definitely in the extremely tired group. I don't remember being anywhere near this tired in my previous pregnancies. I need to find motivation for even the smallest things. I am just completely physically drained all the time.

We went to a wedding on Saturday, and by 8:30 was sitting with my feet up, lol. I had a lot of people come up and ask me how I was, and how much longer I had, people I didn't even know even.
We have another wedding that DH is in when I'm 37 weeks. I will be bringing slippers for the reception. I'm ok being that person.

I messaged the doctor because I was concerned if I should be feeling baby move more and have had some increased discharge and "dampness". The nurse said to keep at eye on it and go to labor and delivery if it increases to make sure my amniotic fluid isn't leaking. I mentioned that we'll be leaving for a road trip next week and she seemed surprised and asked if I'd cleared it with the doctor. I told her I'd asked earlier on and doc suggested either before 24 weeks or between 28-32 (I'll be 29/30). She said I'd better discuss with the doctor on Monday and make sure. So yeah, now I'm fretting about that.

bearfootzcontinued I'm just a few days ahead of you and I still go hours without feeling baby move. And I've had increased discharge as well the past couple of weeks. I do have an anterior placenta which might be adding to it, but I still don't feel baby very much during the day. When they put the monitor on me though I can hear millions of kicks and tons of movement...I just can't feel it. I'm sure everything is fine and your road trip should be safe. But you should insist on getting checked out ahead of time if you're even a little bit worried.

How am I so miserable already? I was up every hour last night, my body aches so badly, and the kid has already seemed to run out of room. He is beating me up from the inside. 10ish more weeks 😭

sammysam, lolacachia, the nurse said so long as I feel baby every day that's what they're looking for at this point - I think one of my apps said to start doing kick counts and I was worried maybe I should be feeling more. I also have an anterior placenta so am sure I'm not feeling everything going on in there. The doctor has advised against travel between 24-28 weeks so that I'd be close to a LeveL 3 NICU if baby were to come then. I go for my appointment today and am hoping to get the go ahead. We plan to travel at most 6 hrs per day, but will be stopping for bathroom/meal breaks along the way. I also plan to wear compression socks just in case.

I washed and organized all the baby clothes! I'm getting the house officially ready for a new baby, diapers are out, stocked up on stuff, finishing off all my lists, packing the hospital bag. Problem is I keep falling asleep on the couch after DS1 goes to bed, and it's hard to get stuff done while he's up lol.

I just scheduled the rest of my OB appointments. I’m not sure why but I find that very exciting and can see the end in sight. 6 more as long as he comes by his due date (which I’m not really counting on).

mamabear02 I feel the same. Why is breathing hard already??? And still just over 9 weeks left. I'm throwing up daily again and I'm so tired and sore I feel like I'm 100 years old.

There is a handicap access button being installed for the bathroom enterance at work. That is great, but the bathroom has been unusable for the past 2 days, so I have to go much further every time I have to pee. 37 weeks pregnant is not a good time to have the close restroom closed down:(

courtniko I feel your pain. We have been without a female staff bathroom for over 3 weeks now. Every time I need to pee I have to walk down 2 flights of stairs and then go to the other side of the school. And then usually wait for 10 minutes while the student who is inevitably in the only single occupancy bathroom does their hair, posts 15 pictures to instagram, and misses as much class time as possible. The entire school is under construction and it is unlikely the bathrooms will be working again any time soon. Sharing a bathroom with teenagers...not fun.

Oh man, that is way worse than my predicament. I just have to go upstairs and down the hall a bit. It just sucks when I basically have to pee every 2 hours. I would say hopefully yours is back up soon, but it does not sound like that will happen

Pretty sure I had a Braxton Hicks contraction last night. Everything felt tight, and there was some pressure on my cervix, but by the time I fully realized that it couldn’t be the baby moving, it was over.

I'm the opposite, I've nearly made it through two pregnancies and have never felt a Braxton hicks or a real contraction. It's kind of nice I guess but I also feel like my body has no idea how to have a baby lol. Or that I would have super late babies if they came naturally.

For no good reason, I am starting to freak out that this baby is going to come before my parents get here. I will be 38 weeks on Friday, and my parents dont get here till next Friday, when I will be 39 weeks. I wish I had pushed for them to come earlier. DD came at 39 weeks exactly, and DS came at 40+2. We have had a few friends say they will take the kids, but they have their own kids, and jobs, and I hate to impose. Plus it will be easier on the kids to just be home, rather than at someone else's, who would have no way to get the kids anywhere, so DH would have to leave the hospital more often. And I tend to go into labor middle of the night.

courtniko, I’m also stressed about having someone here to take care of DS when I go into labor (although I ended up being induced with my first so who knows if that will even happen). I hate asking for favors from friends too, but it looks like that will be what has to happen.

Newborn photos - did you do them? I like the more lifestyle ones, not so much the extra posey ones, so should I rely on family to capture those moments or will I regret not hiring a photographer? The hospital does have photographers who will come in during the first day, and then you can buy the images online, so I’m thinking more the in-home type thing.

We did them with our 2nd, and will do them with this one. I am big on getting pro pics though. I like lifestyle pics, but also the posed ones for babies. Pro pics are generally so much better, but not cheap.
