So Today is my due date. Nothing new happening here but I am getting twice daily checkins from family to see if I am in labor. I guess i am not doing a good job of not being annoyed with that question.

Today is my anniversary š To celebrate, Iām buying the ingredients to that labor starting drink, eating spicy Mexican food, drinking raspberry leaf tea, and praying that my little guy decides to make his appearance this week.
Iām 37w today and this momma is ready to be done. DONE.

Yay for more babies this month! I had the same "will I know what to do with a newborn" thoughts. It felt so long ago even though dd2 is only 3.

Today has been a day. I had both kids solo and tried to actually get crap done around the house. The day ended with DS peeing on DD's head. Yes. Like it was from a movie. Now he's been cluster feeding. I'm scared about tonight.

Did anyone feel really shaky, weak for the first few days? I just took a shower and did my hair and I felt all shaky and off. Not really dizzy but def not right. Iāve been trying to take it easy but when Iām up and trying to get anything done I feel that way.

Actual conversation I had today: Lady at Work: āare your feet swollen?ā Me: āYeah, theyāre pretty swollen. Hard to wear shoes now.ā Lady: āI can see it in your face too.ā
Yāall. My face doesnāt even have any swelling. Wtf.
So glad today was my last day in the office. So tired of people telling me Iām huge and going to have the baby any minute.

I have an area on my stomach thatās been tender and pink for a week or so now and itās starting to freak me out. Has anyone had anything like this and if I decide I need to see a doctor do you think I should go to my ob or gp?

Has anyone had anything like this and if I decide I need to see a doctor do you think I should go to my ob or gp? I would see your OB. At the very least give them a call and see if they think it warrants a visit. You had a section? Could just be the normal healing or a stitches that didnāt displace properly?

@bex15, I would call or send a message to my ob as well. Is it near your incision?

DD was especially challenging tonight. It was my H's turn to do books and bed with her. She always begs for one more story/song/etc. but he is pretty strict and said she already used up her time. Meanwhile I am dealing with the twins.
It turned into her crying and crying, calling for me, etc. It was almost an hour of nonsense. I feel bad because she's been through some big changes, but H thinks I'm too soft.
I just figure sometimes it's easier to do another quick story and say "ok now I really really gotta go" than to have it drag out for so long just to prove a point. Now we're all irritated and she'll be tired tomorrow.
Do you guys give in to stuff like this? Is she taking advantage of me? Lol.
Send wine.

Sending wine your way Eames! As someone with no experience in this area I would be likely to give into this so not much help lol.

Now we're all irritated and she'll be tired tomorrow. Do you guys give in to stuff like this? Is she taking advantage of me? Lol. Send wine. MH and I don't give in to bedtime shenanigans. MH is stricter than I am, and takes away fun bedtime things (stories or songs) if she doesn't listen or screws around with the not fun stuff (brush teeth, PJs). Sometimes she cries and whines, sometimes she's over it immediately. But I'm downstairs relaxing and watching TV on my own by that point and that's what is more important to me at that point š¤£š¬ She's allowed to play and read in her bed for a while after we leave her room, which helps, but bedtime is 8 and that means lights out, stay in bed unless you're getting up to potty and that's it, because mom and dad clock out at 8:01 (barring any real issues, obviously, lol). BUT - if you give in, it's only taking advantage of you if you don't want it to happen š¤· if you don't mind it and don't care if it continues then you do you. But it is probably a good idea for you and YH to be on the same page with it if you trade off doing bedtime with her, otherwise it's not really fair to her.

Eames That sounds like a familiar scene in our house too. Depending on what time it is and how good she was while getting ready for bed, sometimes Iāll give in to whatever procrastination technique sheās trying. Other times, I go with āitās time to get in bed, but why donāt you pick out another book and you can bring it to your bed.ā Or something along those lines so she still āgetsā something extra. And Iām definitely more empathetic to 3yr old emotions than H. But we did go through a really tough bedtime procrastination phase. I ended up having to threaten taking away her nightlight. Only happened once, and she found out that I have follow-through.
