That’s good to hear Eames! Ugh...I put DD back to bed an hour and a half ago, and she wants to eat again. Maybe she’s growing? We've been eating every 2 to 3 hours here too... 😴😴😴 At some point the time lengthens, but I'm having a hard time remembering when.

I was just about to ask those with older babies how long this getting up every hour/hour and a half lasts. It’s brutal. The only time I get 2-3 is if I hold her on my chest

Sick babies only wanted to be held all night long = 😴😴😴😴
I feel so bad for them, they don't understand why they feel yucky. Poor loves.
But also, so tired. Hoping we can all get a good nap today.

Mine just wanted to be held all last night too yesterday. Gas pains and trying to poop. Poor boys. Night before last though I followed my MOC schedule religiously, and they slept from 9:30-5:15ish with only one wake up around 1. Fingers crossed I can get back on schedule today (yesterday we feel off because a friend passed out at baby class, so I was watching three babies while an ambulance was called/she was taken to be checked out, until her H came to grab the baby. She's okay, but still can't identify a cause of the low BP that is causing her fainting.) Hope yours feel better soon Eames.

Oh my gosh grover , I hope your friend is ok! One wakeup would be amaaaaazing. What's MOC? MOC= Moms On Call. It's a book/app written by two pediatrician moms who both had multiples between them. My daughter STTN on her own by 6 weeks, and I didn't discover MOC til around the 8 or 9 week mark, when we were getting NO daytime naps at all. Following the schedule helped us keep our STTN but add great naps in. They do advocate letting them fuss it out for a few minutes at a time until they hit a certain age, then they are a do not enter from 7 pm to 7 am. We don't follow the do not enter part,

DD was a horrible sleeper so want to try something different this time.

I used the app along with a MOC facebook page. This time I still have the app, but did purchase the books. Figured I wouldn't luck out with both twins being naturally good sleepers.

My baby hates sleep tonight. DH is away and I'm afraid to use the RNP now. I've been up for 3 hours

tapdancer, there was a thread about alternatives to RNP on GBCN. I haven't drug out our swing yet, but I also just ordered the FP infant-to-toddler rocker as a replacement portable option. Plus I think my toddler would also love it.

Somehow H was the easiest, or most on schedule, last night 😣 He was up around 1 for his first feed and E started crying, which is totally not normal for her, so MH went up to see what was wrong and she had somehow spilled water all over her bed so he had to take care of that. Got back in bed, I put H down, and the dog (who sleeps in our bed) threw up IN THE BED. Somehow he did it silently too because I only knew because I felt it on my back 😫 it was thankfully just liquidy and not a huge mess but OF COURSE I had just changed the sheets and not washed our spare yet so we had to sleep on just the mattress protector. Oy. I find it slightly comical this morning but MH was not amused, 🤣

10:00 counts as MOTN right? Please sleep baby. I never got a nap today with DH gone and my sister who has been here helping me got sick (and I found it she is pregnant!!!) so I had my 3 year old, her 2 year old and the baby. My mom came for a bit but she took on the older two while I dealt with the cranky baby. Thank goodness DH comes home tomorrow. At least then I can tap out for a little rest.

Second night in the crib while we wait for the snoo. I got a two hour stretch and now I’m trying to get her down again.
Mh is going to be busy building a roof over our back deck tomorrow so I’ll only be able to nap if the baby does and my older two let it happen so chances are small.
Bedtime was also a shit show for all my kids because my mil came over to meet the baby finally. My older two were insane because they wanted her attention and every thing was just thrown off.

haleyscott Maybe some screentime for your older two? Ger the vabybto sleep, turn on the screens, get a little sleep? Just to get you through. Does the roof have to happen this weekend? Sleep is so important.

Sleep is so important. I’ll for sure let screentime happen. Maybe I’ll do a bribe for. So time for myself. Haha my dad is coming down this weekend to help with the roof. I ended up waking mh at 2:30 crying about how she wouldn’t sleep and he took over for two hours. Right as I was falling asleep ds2 came in the room and crawled in bed with me so it wasnt the deepest sleep. But still some. I am hoping dd goes to sleep after she’s done eating.

I think I might get the MOC books. (In my head, MOC= Members of Congress, lol.)
The babies are generally up every 2 to 3 hours each night, with about 40 minutes of awake time to change diapers and feed. Sometimes longer. It's starting to take a toll on me.
I'm not sure if this is just typical and I need to wait for them to get bigger for longer stretches, or if there is anything I can do to change it.

I think our babies were born around the same time.

Dd slept all day except to eat and a little bit of awake time. I had high hopes it was a growth spurt and the sleep would continue tonight.
Hahahahaha
We’ve been up for three hours and before this she was waking every hour since we came to bed. Mh has to work tomorrow so I feel bad waking him. I’m just hoping she will sleep soon bc I have to get my oldest ready for school and on the bus in the morning and then ds2 off to preschool.

I really can’t imagine how you and Eames do this with twins. You are both rocking it though! I got a little bit of sleep and then at 6 I had to switch with mh. I figured since I let him sleep during the night waking him a little early would be fine. I am 100% hitting up McDonald’s after dropping ds2 at preschool.

So first night at home has been really rough. DD won’t sleep in the pack n play, so we’ve been trying to take shifts holding here, but I’m currently having trouble keeping my eyes open. We’re going to have to figure somethingnoit for tomorrow. I miss the rock n play.

Ugh, I'm sorry jacks. I hope you figure something out soon. We tried to follow the MOC schedule yesterday. The main things we stuck with were no naps longer than 2 hours, and final and first feeding times. For us, it is 8 am and 8:30 pm. There are certain things we won't do, like a bath every night. Babies slept from 8:30 to 11:40, then again from 12:30 to 3, then 3:40 to 5:40. Then another catnap until 8 or so. So two (?) wakeups between 8:30 and 5:40. Not terrible. I think they would've slept longer but were busting out of their swaddles, so we need to get that part down.
