Guys Henry took his first steps this weekend. I was beginning to think he was behind because I know so many babies younger than him already walking. S hasn’t walked yet either. His big sis walked at 16mo so I’m not worried *yet* lol. But also know so many babies like 4+ months younger than him who are already walking sooooo...trying not to get caught up in that haha.

I haven’t been in here for awhile either, hi guys lol. H got orders two weeks ago & we learned we’re moving cross-country this summer. So the last two weeks have been crazy getting the house ready to put on the market & thankfully we are 99% done with all of that. I could drink all the wine though & im exhausted lol.
Kid update— S is 14mo, funny as ever & getting a little too curious haha. He loves to empty everything but at least he puts everything back where it was. Big sister turns 4 in May which is giving me all the feels, she seems so “old” to me lately. I’m starting to get baby fever a bit again but H wants to wait until life is settled a bit lol like after we’ve moved & he’s settled in his new job. He should have a lot more free time thoug & no deployments so hopefully #3 will be on his/her way at some point in the next year lol.

Oh no amesie I hope everyone feels better soon!! PS- we're still ironing out details of our trip to your hood. Stay tuned 😊 Our kitchen is almost done. One more week. I suspect my DD1 may have pneumonia again. Joy. Liv is awesome though. I love this age so much. And she's moving to toddlers at school in a couple months (for summer)

I slept for a good portion of the day. Major credit to MH for holding the reigns while I slept.
G is in bed. Baby will be in bed shortly. I managed to clean my kitchen, dining room and living room.

Hi! I have been crazy busy. Yesterday was MHs birthday so we went out to the movies. Everyone in my house is sick now. It’s not fun. I woke up with a sore throat today. 👎🏻 I have problems with my knees so I have been going to physical therapy 3 times a week. That plus work and managing the household and taking care of the kids has kept me very busy. Feel better!! Take it easy mama! ❤️

J is back to her early morning wakeups. The last 3 days have been 5:30, 5, and now 4:30. She takes only one nap and goes to bed at 7:30, I don't know what her deal is and it is slowly stealing my soul 😂😭
ETA: ugh, after cooing and banging her bottle around for half an hour she went back to sleep. I, of course, could not. At least now I have time to shower before the kids wake up, DH leaves for work at 5:30 so I usually have to wait for naptime.

On days I work I have to wake everyone up at 5:45... except for the baby. She is always awake lol. Thank goodness my big girls adjust relatively well, on days I don't work they are pretty good about following their OK to Wake clock and that turns green at 7. Probably the saddest thing about parenting is when 6:30 or 7 qualifies as sleeping in 😂 I can't wait until my kids are old enough to get their own bowls of cereal and turn on cartoons!!

Hi! I still don’t feel well but I am functioning. I did a ton today. I went to work, grocery shopped, meal prepped and bathed the kiddos. Now G is in bed and the baby is going to bed in a half hour.

The baby coughed so hard last night that he puked EVERYWHERE. I was just falling asleep when it happened. It required sheet changing, baby cleaning, pajama changing and a load of laundry getting washed.
Needless to say, I am tired today.

Sorry... I've been in lurker status lately. My self-esteem has been in the dumps lately so I'm trying to dig my way out. I'm at my highest weight ever (pregnancy included) to the point of having to buy new clothes, especially pants. Depression and anxiety has kicked my ass since last summer/fall. I'm hoping now that the snow is melting, I'll actually feel like getting out and doing things. I really don't feel like my diet changed much, if at all, so I'm chalking it up to being extremely lazy and all the naps I was taking. I had my annual physical Friday and my OB wasn't concerned and thinks that spring/summer will help me a lot. She didn't even run basic blood work so she's obviously not concerned.
I bought myself a time-stamped water bottle to try to force myself to significantly increase my water intake. One step at a time I suppose.

marygracerich I will commiserate with the tired thoughts. jessijean ((hugs)) One step at a time, is still steps in the right direction. I hope spring/summer is helpful for you. DD started at daycare today. They've posted a bunch of pictures already in the app. Not sure if that's normal or it's a first day for mom special. I really think she's going to love it there.

Sorry for the long night marygracerich! That sounds rough. I hope you are all feeling better soon! jessijean We have missed you around here! Hugs for the rough time. It's cliche but I think so true, this is a season of life and just be kind to yourself right now. Having two LOs at home is a lot of fun but a lot of work!! One step at a time is the best way to get started. I hope the weather warms up soon- getting outside always makes such a difference in my mood and how motivated I feel to do anything!

Anybody else notice that hormonal spikes/emotional spikes are stronger PP? Now that I got my period back I can tell right when it's coming because of emotional changes. I've been crying over a dream for almost an hour. I know it's absolutely absurd but it was difficult to calm down. Maybe this is just a depression/anxiety thing?

The weaning hormone swing is a BITCH. Be sure to take care of yourself <3

The weaning hormone swing is a BITCH. Be sure to take care of yourself <3 I weaned about 5 months ago so I think I'm through that? It was definitely a bitch and honestly have never really felt the same. I'm guessing it's my anxiety and I'm just more sensitive to changes. Period should be here in another day or two so it leads me to think it's hormonal. I'm definitely telling myself there is nothing wrong with a cry, even for no reason. Hoping the boys take it easy on me the rest of the day.

Anyone up for pictures today? DD2 was so crabby this weekend. She cried to be picked up then immediately wanted to get down. This pic is about a minute after I put her down and she crawled away crying 😂

Today is the anniversary of our miscarriage, 6 years. Usually, I don't shed a tear but I read my FB memories when I got to the coffee shop and started crying in public.
I also felt really sensitive to smell this morning and almost threw up. Naturally, I took a test. Negative. Sooooo thankful for that. Another reminder for me to schedule H for his snip.
