I was beginning to think this month was going to be a write off for actually finishing projects, but I did mange to get one done!
It's a book tote for DS for when we go to the library:

I haven't finished a single thing. I did decide having five different projects on needles was a good idea, though... 😂

enchanted, yeah, too many WIPs is my problem too. I have a comforter I'm trying to finish for H and a quilt that needs quilting for DS, but I'm procrastinating on both because they're at the big, bulky awkward stage.

That applique is awesome, sudokufan ! I have a bunch of projects I want to do and very little free time/energy to do them. my current list: -hufflepuff dice bag for my BFF's belated xmas present -more cloth pantiliners -diaper inserts/fitteds -star wars perler bead coasters And I just signed up for a sewing elfster exchange where you each make the same pattern and send it to each other. The pattern is a zippered wristlet. I've done bags before, so it shouldn't be too much of a challenge. Luckily I have over a month to complete it. It's a good kick in the butt to actually complete something.

I haven't started or finished anything. Winter is hard. I am just trying to keep my head above water with the kidlets. I hate winter.

My mom and I are volunteering at a sewing event for a local organization that provides burial gowns and wraps for babies born sleeping or who pass shortly after. I didn’t get a pic of the gown I made but here’s one of the wraps I did. The wraps are for the teeny tiny ones. I sewed the base and then my mom added embellishments. They are all made from donated wedding dresses. It’s really amazing to see these dresses turn into something so special.

Pistol I love it. I'm holding onto my dress for now just in case my daughter wants it, but if she decides she doesn't, I plan on donating it to a similar organization. Thank you for doing that.

When I had my loss, I didn’t have a baby that could have utilized these but even now, years later, I have found some comfort/help with the fb support group. They meet once a month at a local coffee shop but I haven’t gotten up the courage to go to that yet. I’m considering becoming a comfort doula where you actually go to the hospital to help the family navigate through everything there and comfort them.
