Do you use them? If so, when?
I think I recall some ladies use them to confirm a Wondfo, but the directions say to use FMU after longest sleep (until you get a high symbol) whereas Wondfos are usually SMU and early afternoon.
I’m getting frustrated because I rarely get a positive OPK. I got two last cycle, but cycle before I took them 4 days before and including day of O and never got a positive. Maybe I have a short surge but I don’t know how to catch it.
Please tell me how to OPK right.

I’ve used the CB advanced in an attempt to “catch” more fertile days. (CB advanced is the one with “high” and “peak” fertility smilies, right?) Pretty much the sensor remembers what your first or previous hormone levels were and then determines if the new level is higher or not. It does some math to figure out the slope of the increase and then tells you if you’re at high or peak.
When I used Wondfos, I would test multiple times a day and there was no rhyme or reason to the time of day I would first get a positive. I’ve done CB with FMU as well as with late afternoon.
I did feel like it was easier to use the CB advanced, it was just expensive. In unmedicated cycles, I generally ovulate between CD17-21, so I would start POAS around CD11-14 in case of an early surprise ovulation.

I was getting frustrated because I felt like I should have gotten a positive and was worried I was going to O later than usual due to CP. I tested a few times yesterday and didn’t even get close to a positive. I used the CB advanced with FMU today (yes the one with the smiley faces!) and got a high, then I tested again with SMU after almost 4 hour hold and got a peak. So basically I was overreacting as per. But at least I know now SMU is a good time for me to test going forward. Thank you!
