Weeks pregnant/How old is baby: 37 weeks
Baby is the size of: Romaine lettuce
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: pink 💕
Appointments: Friday
Symptoms: lots of contractions, peeing all the time, random loose stools, RLP
Milestones: Made it to early term! 1cm, 70% effaced and baby is at 0 station.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Everything is ready for baby girl to come. Minus the house being cleaned. I’ve scheduled a deep clean for the 7th and I’m hoping we make it until then. First time I’ve ever had someone clean my house and even though I hate to see the money go I’m also super excited to have someone else deep clean for me.
QOTW: What’s your favorite dessert? Tiramisu

Team: Pink
Appointments: Ultrasound and OB visit on Thursday
Symptoms: Contractions, peeing all the time, diarrhea, pain, swelling, carpal tunnel
Milestones: Getting closer to finishing up baby prep and reaching full term.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I do think the baby flipped and is head down. I'm getting kicks under my ribs instead of lower in my pelvis. Super curious as to ultrasound result on Thursday.
QOTW: What’s your favorite dessert? All of them! LOL. But I could really go for a brownie a la mode right now.

Weeks pregnant/How old is baby: 35 + 4
Baby is the size of a: Pineapple ... or 50 pound rubber hex dumbbell, which is what it feels like!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: secret
Appointments: OB next Monday
Symptoms: SPD pain, dizzy/breathless/racing heart, peeing, constipation
Milestones: Switch from daily Lovenox to twice-daily Heparin so it's out of my system faster if I go into labor.
Rants/Raves/Vents: DH and I have been putting in lots of intentional effort on our relationship and preparing mentally/emotionally to go through this transition time together. We've opened up about so much lately and are really feeling like one team. I feel more secure and supported, he's feeling less anxious and stressed. I'm really thankful because I knew we needed to get in a better place to help me combat the negative thoughts of PPD (I've had hormonal-related depression before and have been very concerned). I highly recommend John Gottman's books on marriage, especially the idea of emotional bids for connection - it was enlightening to us and such a quick easy (literally instant) fix to some sudden weird distance and negativity we'd been experiencing.
QOTW: What’s your favorite dessert? When not pregnant, an indulgent brownie sundae, but that is just nauseating to me now! Now a custard cone sounds perfect.

sunshiney count me in for the breathless and racing heart. I can barely stand up to make dinner without feeling like I might keel over! I’m glad you and your hubby are in a good place for baby. It’s a lot for a relationship! I’m worried about PPD too. I have a lot of anxiety issues so I’m not sure how well I’m going to handle all the hormones and changes to our daily life. I’m just hoping for the best and preparing to get some help if I need it.

Weeks pregnant/How old is baby: 36+2
Baby is the size of a: head of romaine/kale/papaya
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: Tomorrow for growth u/s, VERY curious on many levels (size, placenta condition, etc.) but most of all position!
Symptoms: Slow, anti bending over for anything. Absolutely no symptoms of impending labor, which is fine by me at this point!
Milestones: Nothing of note.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I hate that I can't tell baby's position. She moves like crazy, I'm not even sure what's what anymore. I can get where her chest is when she hiccups but all that tells me is she's moving everywhere because it's been all over. The anterior placenta doesn't help at all either. It's so frustrating! On the plus side, the freezer is completely packed full to the point I can't make anything more because I have no place to put it. I still have lots of decor projects for her room to do but finished a big one yesterday. Nesting like crazy, did a massive grocery shop so we basically could survive an apocalypse for months if need be. Need to pack the hospital bag and leave notes about the boys' care, not sure who is going to end up being with them depending on timing!
QOTW: What’s your favorite dessert? Right now, all of them... I love tiramisu, cheesecake, creme brulee... so many. I can't wait to eat them all again! I have most of a cheesecake in the freezer already from my birthday because it blew my blood sugar numbers so I couldn't eat it.

How old is baby: just barely 4 days old
Baby is the size of a: 4lb9oz as of last night.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Baby Girl
Appointments: I have to go see OB Friday since they discharged me before 48 hours after a csection and they ant a close check on me.
Milestones: Abby gained a few grams yesterday after a pretty good loss the prior 3 days. I had my first and second PP poops yesterday it wasn't terrible thanks to fiber and Colace!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm honestly feeling pretty good. I even went grocery shopping with SO this morning. I'm sore but as long as I take the Motrin it isn't bad. It's been my easiest recovery so far despite have 2 other kids to take care of and it being my 3rd section. I haven't had the blood pressure issues post delivery like I did with my other 2 and I think that has bad a huge difference. My milk is coming in great and I'm pumping on the regular. I have to watch for oversupply but am enjoying it for now to get a stash going.
QOTW: What’s your favorite dessert? Cheesecake. I'm definitely enjoying eating some sweets again. I give myself about the first 2-3 weeks PP to kind of eat whatever because BFing hunger is no joke. Plus no more GD!

Weeks pregnant/How old is baby: 35+4
Baby is the size of a: Chihuahua
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: Check up tomorrow, ultrasound Friday.
Symptoms: Contractions, exhaustion, SPD.
Milestones: Less than a month!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Work has been terribly busy today and I've barely had a chance to sit down. I'm exhausted. Contractions (nothing intense) kept me up an extra hour or two last night but they died out so there you go. So it begins.
QOTW: What’s your favorite dessert? PIE. Cream pies, fruit pies, all the pies.

Weeks pregnant/How old is baby: Baby boy is one week old this evening!
Baby is the size of a: 6lbs, 7oz, up one oz. from birth
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: 💙
Appointments: Back to weekly follow ups after today's appointment.
Symptoms: I can't believe how good I feel for one week PP. I am of course exhausted, and dealing with some serious engorgement/oversupply issues, but I feel great.
Milestones: Today is my first solo day. So far it is excellent to be back into our routine. I am sure I will be exhausted by the time DH gets home from work.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am tired. So tired. I am not having any luck "sleeping when the baby sleeps." Between my other children and visitors there is rarely a quiet moment. When there is I am finding myself unable to relax. Sort of like an over tired toddler. DH has been amazing and helpful, but he can't feed the baby MOTN. Baby feeds every 2 hours. I can't complain and it is totally normal, but wearing on me for sure.
QOTW: What’s your favorite dessert? I like the classics! Brownies or Cookies. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup!
