You guys thought my paint threads were over didn’t you? So, MH has a new office space. He asked me to sit in on the meeting to make design decisions this morning and, shocker, he has 3 grays he is between and he hasn’t tested any of them. Hes doing this wood and this carpet: He wants to do a light gray. It has to be picked by this morning. Sigh. They use Benjamin Moore. He’s between Excalibur gray, nickel, and silver spring. I feel like they all might look light blue. . So, anyone have experience with any of these? Anyone have a true light gray by Benjamin Moore they can recommend? It’s a corner space and two entire walls are floor to ceiling windows so there’s a lot of natural light.

They all look blue-hued in the picture to me, but the least blue looks like Silver Spring so I'd pick that, personally.

Benjamin Moore Collingwood is a great lighter gray. My interior designer friend recommended it when we were doing my sons nursery a few years ago.

Stonington Gray, it is GRAY, not greige. Perfect cool undertones, no yellow.

Those all look too blue to me. We have Gray Owl in one room and I think that's a perfect light gray.

That looks so taupey on the color wheel. This pic is from a couple years ago, but it was definitely not beige in that house. I loved it. Gray is such a tough color. Different light can make or break it.

I don’t have a good true gray to recommend, but I can tell you their blue-grays can end up reading bluer than you think based on the card. We just painted the nursery with Silver Cloud and Mt. Rainier Gray, both of which looked like light blue-gray on the card. I love it for that room, but it’s definitely bluer.

Check out Benjamin Moore Silver Song 1157. We have it in our home and love it. Stays gray in bright light or shade.

We have Repose Grey (SW7015) in our basement and it's perfect. It definitely lends itself away from the blues and more into the greige category. This is basically my entire house and it's the perfect grey.

I was wrong, we don't have Gray Owl. I was between that and Classic Gray and we went with Classic Gray.
Classic Gray.

I think the choices you showed all look sort of blue-y to me. But I’m also not helpful because I have no suggestions. 🤷🏻♀️

We have Ben Moore Gray Timber Wolf in my son's room. It reads as a true gray (not too blue, purple or taupe) but I wouldn't quantify it as a "light" gray either...but neither are the ones your H is considering. Those are more heavily pigmented too IMO

I’m liking the gray above the three your H picked. Like others have said this look pretty blue. It’s hard to say unless painted on the wAll.

We used Timber Wolf (darker than Gray Timber Wolf above) for our son's room and I love it. Looks like I don't have a picture on my phone but I could take one when I go home for lunch if you'd like.

Another vote for Stonington Gray. Gray Owl is nice but I found it to be too blue.

That looks so taupey on the color wheel. I love this color and have it all over my house, but the only place it reads even kind of gray is in my entry way where there is a ton of natural light and no other gray anything. Next to anything else even a little grey it reads beige.

He sent me this as an example of what he likes. So even though he says light gray, I’m not sure he means it.

Metropolitan is the color of the year and looks like a pretty neutral gray in my screen.

My painter says Benjamin Moore does not have a true grey. They all tint blue or green. It has to do with the paint base they use. We just put wickham grey in our bathroom and it definitely looks like a pale blue/grey.

My personal fave is Edgecomb Grey by BM. But it looks lighter than what your H is going for
