Okay, I'm going a little nuts. My kids teeth have looked like this picture (not mine) for THREE EFFING MONTHS. He's got all of the signs of teething, for THREE EFFING MONTHS. WHY IS THIS NOT HAPPENING!?

What’s the age of your kid?
It can take a long time for the first teeth to erupt

Good Lord that looks uncomfortable. But ditto cmb, the first ones take a while to pop through. I've been very fortunate with easy teethers but cold washcloths, those teething rings you can freeze were a couple things my boys liked.

It looks like once he gets the one, the others won't be long. Good news: you'll get the misery done in one big lump. Bad news: he's going to be so, so miserable. ☹️

His top teeth look the same. I had a dream a while ago that he got all of his teeth in at the same time overnight. One can hope!

You can give Advil if he appears to be in pain. That said, One thing I’ve noticed with both boys is they can look like that for a long time (upwards of 5-6 months) with no eruption. The constant droll is very common for that age and doesn’t necessarily mean the teeth are about to erupt.

So sorry! DD’s gums looked like that for months. She didn’t get her first teeth until a few weeks before she turned one.

At his 4 month appointment the doctor thought he was teething like crazy and I'd see teeth any moment. First tooth came in at 9 months.

My first was like that... mouth was a mess starting around 5/6 months. His first tooth came in 5 weeks after his first birthday. Learned the hard way that the ridiculous drooling means absolutely nothing and is more age linked. Neither of them were a drool fest once the teeth started popping in
