I'll get it started! a-I went to barre class this morning and I'll do day 3 of Adriene's Dedicate program this evening. I'm cooking some healthy stuff for the week...lentil and carrot curry soup plus a venison sausage sauce to go with pasta. (I know, I know...the pasta. We do love our carbs in this house.) b-Keep up my running and yoga and try to eat less candy and/or drink less soda. I am still a sugar fiend. c- Continue to increase mileage (long run will be 11 miles in January b/c baby is 11 months! that is my system right now...) and keep up with yoga and barre. Keep making good meals for the family. I guess I could work on our carbs but we seem to do ok with it. DH did some intermittent fasting and has dropped some weight and I'm down about 55 lbs from where I was this time last year (pregnant!). We are both running half marathons this spring too so we're both working on the running.

A- today I was better about portion control. I think I need to fix my own leftovers, H always packs a ton. B- as soon as my key fob is activated I'll be working out at the gym in my office complex. It's a small gym, but it's really the only realistic time for me to get a workout in. C- we're not drinking in January, so that's a big calorie cut. We're trying to get in a good groove with healthy meals this month as well, and resisting the urge to order in.

armpants, it can definitely be tough to fit in the workouts. When we have a delay for school (only has happened like once this year), I still go in on time to catch up on work and also squeeze in a yoga routine! Once I'm done pumping for baby V, I might be able to do other yoga workouts during the day there like at lunchtime. Not drinking can be a huge help! (depending on your normal intake) Good luck! I thought about this thread today and skipped my lunch Coke. I still had a candy cane and some dark chocolate but no soda is good for me. I did not manage day 3 of Adriene's program yesterday but just did it tonight. Planning on a short run tomorrow after work-probably half with the kids in the double and the second half without them after I loop back home and drop them off to DH.

a- I had a grilled chicken salad for dinner; Found a new seasoning for the chicken and it was so much better than plain grilled chicken b- I went for a run yesterday. The second run since August. I really fell off the band wagon this fall! c- Goal for the month is to run once a week. It's a start for me. I really struggle to carve out the time for exercise

a-today– MH is going to pick P up, so I'll be able to get a decent run in. I may do it at the Y so that I can do weights as well. b-this week– packing my lunch every day, and making dinner every night; lunchtime walks and a run before or after work. c-this month– H and I are doing a dry January too, armpants. I'm also doing a modified W30. (No added sugars; no grains; but I am eating legumes.) I've set a goal of running every day this month. I have a 4 mile race in February, and my first half marathon of the year will be in March.

a-today– I packed my breakfast, lunch and supper knowing I won't be home until 9:30. b-this week– homemade meals every day, spin class 4x. c-this month– I am also on the dry January train. It hasn't been bad at all, but DH and I did miss having a bottle of wine on Saturday night. I think he's taking it a step further and having a dry "until we leave for vacation" Feb 15. I am also doing Whole 30 and that has been going well. Trying to hit my step goal for 30 days in a row and 84 miles of spin are the fitness goals.

Great job ladies!!
I continue to try to make changes to live a healthier life. January has really fought against it though what with everyone being sick for 2 weeks already.
I have decided to continue to rest until I get back from my trip to Vegas. However in Vegas we will be hiking in Red Rocks park so I am excited about that. I will continue to try to make healthy food choices.
When I get back I need to start running again. My goal is to run 219 runs this year that are at least a mile long. I will also start Core de Force. I am meal planning and usually the containers for portion control.

Guess I’m kind of doing dry January. I don’t usually have the ganas to drink. 😉
