DD has gotten really "talkative" the past few days. It's pretty cute 😊

good luck tomorrow! What age do you teach again? First grade. Luckily our first day back from break is a teacher work day so I have a day to settle back in before the kids come. wow! First grade would be so hard! People always commented on how it must be so hard to teach middle School, but I think teaching elementary would be so much harder! At least most of them are pretty cute at that age right?

Ha! brenna I don’t think I could ever teach middle school! Today was good. My classroom still looks nice. But I spent too much time talking (or having everyone ask me if I’d rather be at home). Uhhh.... wouldn’t anyone rather be any place but work? I mean I love what I do but really. Tomorrow will be the real test. I’m sure it will be so fast. And a TON of reteaching.

I think I might need to stop changing diapers overnight cause it's waking DD too much. It's 4am and she's wide awake in there eating her hands, kicking around and "talking" up a storm to herself!! Cute, but seriously girlfriend, it is NOT time to get up yet 😂

We just got home from dd's 4 month appointment. She did amazing and barely cried at all after her shots 😀 I told her pediatrician about her still refusing a bottle and what I have tried and she was pretty much like ya yeah, she probably won't ever take a bottle, but suggested I could try a sippy cup. Did anyone try a sippy cup this early with their first LOs? Any recommendations on ones that worked for you LO even if they were older? Its not crucial to get her to drink from anything, but I would like to try options so I can maybe get away for more than an hour or two.

brenna, Nymeria I've only been changing her once around 1-3am. I'm not certain the diaper would make it through the night. Especially on the nights she's in my bed and seems to eat all night! I'll try one night not changing and see what happens. I know I can always size up at night or do overnight dipes. She ended up just putting herself back to sleep after about 15 minutes of playing around in there last night! Then slept her longest stretch.

DS1's last pediatrician visit in December was with a Dr new to the practice. Even though she was new the claim still should have been processed as in-network but for some reason was processed as out-of-network which resulted in a $111 charge hitting my HSA even though we had more than met our deductible for 2018. Well after a 20 minute phone call to my insurance company and a 5 minute call to the pediatrician's billing department the claim is being reprocessed as in-network and I'll be getting a refund check from the peds office once they receive the new claim info from insurance. I was on the phone less than a half hour, zero frustration or arguing, and I'm getting money back. Since when does contacting insurance actually go well??

Ugh. I'm done with today already. DS would only sleep in 30 min increments last night and wanted a boob in his mouth all night long. DD came in my bed around 12;30am. I finally gave in and stuck him in the swing for the final stretch from 5-7 and it was glorious to sleep that long. Then he had his first explosive poop up the back as I was feeding him and got all over my robe and couch. As I changed him, he peed all over me as well and I used my hands as a shield. I'm throwing in the towel!

Oh dear - hugs pixiepink24. My DD went through a phase of needing my boob in her mouth to comfort nurse all night too. I think it was near/during Leap 3. And I still have shit up the back with most every poop diaper, so I feel you there too. I hope your day gets better!

pixiepink24 - Aww man. Sounds like you should go back to bed and start over! I so wish I could! Lol! At one point we fell asleep and when he woke I looked at my phone. It was only 15 mins. Oy! I'm used to two hour stretches, since that's his normal. But last night was just insane. And tbirdlove it could be Leap 3. I don't follow that stuff but he is 11 weeks tomorrow.

pixiepink24 sorry you had such a rough start. Hopefully it gets better from here. Yesterday morning I complained that for the past two nights I haven’t been able to get back to sleep after p’s 2 am wake up because my mind just starts thinking about school. So the H said he would wake up with P. Guess who slept through the night........ so yay sleep! But why sleep for dad....

Does anybody have a recommendation for a good swim suit for larger boobs? I'm about a 36DD and I went to Target the other night to just see if I could find a cheaper suit to wear when I take dd1 swimming but wow my boobs were so saggy and looked terrible in every single one. I've never considered a boob job until I tried those on and was like yikes, maybe I need to reconsider. 😕

I used to like my boobs but post-kids I don't and would like to fix that.

Athleta used to have bra sized tops that were more supportive. They're kinda pricey though. Also, I used to think years ago that I would have a boob lift after having kids. My boobs have always been big and droopy and I've never liked them. They're even droopier now! BUT, my Mom got super thin skin and really dark circles under her eyes with age and I'm afraid I may be starting to get them too. So I decided a few years back that if I'm gonna have any work done on my body and it's between a boob lift and sorting out sunken, un-makeup-able dark circle under my eyes, I'm gonna fix my face! The rest I can cover up or lift up into place with a bra! ETA - incorrect autocorrect

You guys are gonna laugh at me - I totally bought two new maternity tank tops today.
Yep, you read that right. I bought maternity tank tops! I had bought these super basic maternity tanks from Target when I was pregnant and I LIVED in them. I've been happy to find that they still fit great after baby! They're forgiving enough in the front with the little bit of extra fabric so they don't make me feel like a chub. I've still been wearing them every day for layering under other tops and they're stretchy enough that I can pull them down under my breast and use the two shirt method for nursing. So I thought I'd invest in a couple more! I was gonna buy more than two but the didn't have my size in the other colors I wanted!

They basically remove a small crescent shaped area of skin from under the eyes where the sunken, thin area is. My Mom actually had it done. The recovery seemed pretty awful, but the results really made a huge difference without looking like she'd had any work done. You'd only know if you knew the before and after.

I'm fucking pissed. My mom watches DS2 on Fridays right now and after she wasn't responding to texts I called my dad who works from home on Fridays. Apparently my mom took him to a wake this morning. He's had 1 round of shots and no flu shot - he is too young to be around that many people, especially this time of year with the flu going around. My dad said something to her while I was on the phone with him and "she apologizes and didn't even think about it" but I am beyond pissed. Now I have to wait and hope no one there was sick. I would have worked from home an extra day this week before I agreed to him going to a fucking wake.

Dd2 was eyeing my sweet potato fries last night so I smashed up a little and gave her a taste. She seemed like she really liked it and didn't seem to mind the texture. I might have to buy some baby food soon and see how she does!

We had to take dd2 to a funeral a few weeks ago but DH wore her the whole time and she seemed fine. Hopefully your ds doesn't get sick!
