I have an Ergo 360 carrier, can I still use it with DS2 (approx 28lbs)? Assuming my spine doesn’t snap from the extra weight 😂 DD is about 23-24 pounds and I used it when we traveled. It was easier to get through security at the airport. I definitely wore her on my hip and not directly in front.

The big toddler room goes up to 30 months and they're not really set up for potty training. We are probably a little ways away from it but we've been getting him familiar with the potty at home and he has recently been telling me (very adamantly) after he pees or poops so I could definitely see us wanting to try before 30 months, but I'm not sure how that would work without daycare being able to reinforce it. I would ask. They had to have come across early potty trainers before. I'm sure they could accommodate in some way shape or form.

She said MOST kids wait until they move up to start. I imagine they will be annoyed to some degree.

They should be happier they get to clean shit off of one less child.

Ok, so, preferencing this to say that this is NOT the normal advice you get regarding CDs but it worked so well for me. I was troubleshooting leaks and smells for months and then I came across an article that pointed out that it's assinine to suggest using a tablespoon or two of detergent for cleaning human waste. Like we wash our clothes in more detergent than that so why wouldn't we do the same for something covered in poop or pee. So I upped my detergent amount to a full scoop of tide for a full load of diapers and magically I no longer had problems. No smells, no leaks, just clean diapers. I will try to find the article. Eta: oh and DD no longer got rashes or impetigo (we had horrible problems with this) because she was in an actual clean diaper.

I read a thing that said the smell could either be from detergent or mineral build up (so strip) OR from using not enough detergent, so two completely opposite causes and solutions, and I have no idea how to tell which is causing my problem. You think I should try upping my detergent first to see if that helps? Did it help immediately?

I would try upping detergent first because it's much easier than stripping.

I unfortunately have a front loader, which sucks, and have to do an extra rinse at the end despite hard water (rental place so no say in washer/dryer

Guys, The most amazing thing is happening right now! DD is outside playing in the backyard and I am INSIDE in my nice warm house watching her from the window. If this isn't parenting goals I don't know what is.

The only bright side to not having my house is that they go to a hotel at night and come back in the morning. I try to spend as much time out of the house as possible while they are here

So do all 20 MOs suck at identifying colors? He knows the words but it's like he just picks a completely random color every time. He has 50/50 chance of being color blind so H and I are a bit .

I would be very impressed if he knew his colors. In DS2’s world, everything is blue or pink. DS1 didn’t start picking up on it until closer to 3.

I'm 99% sure I don't want another. DH says he's 100% and would get snipped tomorrow if I told him to. But I figure the timeline of one IUD is enough to make sure we're both really there.
