Do you have any goals for 2019? Do you do the whole "word of the year" thing? What is driving you into next year?

I have some small goals. I can’t do the weight loss thing because it never works.
I have a huge cross stitch project that I want to finish. I also want to be more active and to be on my phone less.

I think the theme of 2019 for me will just be "keep moving forward". I have all these plans that keep getting messed up and ruined and I have to make new plans. As long as I keep moving forward, I think it will be all right. I don't have to be in such a hurry to do things. 2019 will be about welcoming the 6th and final member of our family, starting a new path to my goal of nursing school, and just making it through.

My goal is to get both kids sleeping all night. I need sleep. I really need to start getting some exercise as well

No real resolutions here, but hoping to have more quality family time together.
Both girls are sick. I’m making a little surf and turf with prime rib, coconut shrimp and champagne tonight though. 🥥🍤🥩🥂

Worked through some ideas for goals on my long(ish) run yesterday!
The concrete ones are exercise related: -run a half marathon this spring (nothing fast, shooting for maybe sub-2, just signed up yesterday!) -run a faster half or maybe a 10M in the fall, continuing to increase mileage -keep going to barre regularly -complete Adriene's Dedicate yoga program, her new one for 2019
Not exercise related: -not put too much effort in at work, do a better job at accepting the status quo instead of constantly looking for ways to improve (I have high expectations for myself so I will still try to do a good job just not as much changing what I do!) -continue to make family time a priority -continue to set aside money for travel so we can do some fun trips in 2020

My goal for myself is to get a workout routine of some sort. I’ll probably buy a Groupon and try a spin place or maybe yoga.
I also need to get DS1 on a nighttime routine again once Nonni leave, he’s been a pain to go to sleep lately and decide if I am going to just drop his nap or not. I also want to get him in school and figure out vpk for next year.
For ds2 I need to get him evaluated and see if he still needs PT.
Goals for my marriage is try to let the little things go and work more as a team with kids. I also want to get a babysitter and try to go out at least once a month with the hubs.

I def have some things I could work on with DH too. We are doing fine but once we are getting more consistent sleep, I'd like to be able to give him more.....attention. Also with nursing my libido is still in the gutter. He is a very patient man.

Or at least I can't get it to work and need to take it to the sewing shop to see if they can help me. I should make that a goal too but it isn't a huge priority (I can use my mom's whenever I need it) and I'm worried it will be expensive to fix.

I finally got one of my own as a Christmas gift and I'm so excited. Now I just need to wait until DD's birthday when my mom drives it down and I get to see it again.

My main goal: get our family on a budget and stick with it! We are not saving what we should be. Of course it's Jan 4th and we've yet to do the budget yet... Oops
