brenna I feel like M (3) is starting to realize that she doesn’t have my 100% attention and is starting to get into more things. Sorry for the scare. I’m hopeful this is just a season of life right? It will get better when they are both bigger. I got my toes done today with my bff. She’s due in March (it’s actually the same due date as our loss). She was asking so many questions. I’m sooo excited for her.

brenna So glad she is ok! akwildI agree! I've always been on top of DD so she really doesn't get into much but she pulled out Krazy glue yesterday and I told her that now I'll need to get baby locks after 3.5 years... Glad we avoided a disaster. I also have a therapy session in the afternoon. I've really been needing it with the holidays lately. So much alcohol is involved with these celebrations and really causing anxiety amongst myself and for the kids dad. Plus it's been the first holidays of us being separate.

@piziepink24 I’m glad you are doing things to take care of yourself. This season has to be stressful but you are doing an amazing job with your family .

I'm kinda fed up with everything and everyone today. I'm so, stupidly tired and I'm trying so hard to keep my cool with the kids despite how exhausted I am. MH is not keeping his cool very well at all and I'm sick of it. I know that's not really fair because I certainly have my days where I'm losing my shit at them, but for heaven's sake - I'm with them 24-7.... At least he gets to leave this madness.

I have a three year old who is also just now realizing he can get away with more. He took a sprayed water all over his bedroom (at least it was just water) and then later the same day took mahi-magic marker to the walls. He never did this type of stuff before, or maybe I was just better at getting ahead of it.

Dd1 seems ok this morning. pixiepink24 I'm so glad you are taking care of yourself! tbirdlove I lost my shit on dd1 yesterday. I get so fed up too! meggriffin dd1 has colored on the walls many times too, she's so quick and I feel like I'm being pulled in 4 million directions all the time.

IUD is in! What an uncomfortable feeling. I still feel like something is in there, which obviously it is. Hoping that weird feeling goes away. The kids did fine too.
Unfortunately, my therapist had an emergency and had to cancel today but I got some errands done and stopped at a friend's house too. This friend has been struggling getting pregnant for 3 years and AMA. She said she's like 10 weeks pregnant!!! I'm so happy for her.

So this kid hasnt pooped since Wednesday morning. Up until now he has been very regular and I don't really know when to start getting concerned. He's not cranky, is having wet diapers and is eating normally. I have a feeling he is going to wait until we are at a Christmas party and have a huge blow out.
Anybody else go through this? He is breastfed but gets formula sometimes.

I mentioned it to our pediatrician at her 2 month appt and he said to call if it's more than 7 days. How's your water intake? A few weeks ago I increased how much water I am drinking per day and DD has started pooping more regularly again.

tbirdlove drinking water is definitely something I have been slacking on. It's harder to remember when it's freezing outside.

killertofu - Like tbirdlove, I notice a big difference in how often DS2 poops based on my water intake. If I don't drink enough he doesn't poop as much and gets obviously uncomfortable. I track how much I drink each day in my FitBit app because I find it helps me keep up better with drinking enough.

I struggle with drinking enough water too. I get so busy with things and then get to a point where I'm so thirsty and have to chug water. I try to keep track of how many water bottles I drink but some days I am really low on my ounces.

killertofu I would try increasing your water and for a few days and hopefully that will help. If your DS starts acting uncomfortably or anything or if he goes more than 6-7 days I would call and run it by your pediatrician. When I'd asked about it at our two month appt, my pediatrician suggested giving DD a little bit of water at this age to help, so that may be an option too with your ped's approval. But I noticed a differences in DD within a few days of upping my water intake.

So a day after we got home from our trip P started having multiple BMs a day again.... she even started pooping in the night again. It’s almost been a week. We bought her a probiotic today in hopes her gut is just off from traveling. If she’s not better I’ll make her an appointment on Wednesday. But Jeeze her poor bottom.

So after P woke up screaming 2 times last night. I’m sitting with her at first care. I’m in a weird place where I hope nothing is wrong with her but I want a reason for her to be pooping soo much.

brenna It looks like breastfed poop. She went from typical formula looking poop once a day to 8-10 times a day. The urgent care doctor said she was healthy and gave us a cream for fungal diaper rash. He also made us an appointment tomorrow with our peds group because he doesn’t know if it’s a typical virus or the beginning of a milk intolerance. So back to the dr we go tomorrow. I really just want rule out ear infection. That’s how M would show she had an infection....

Hopefully tomorrow your pedi will be able to rule out some things.

Hope she's ok. Is she congested at all? I find the mucous causes more poops in both my boys. ETA: Nevermind, I see they had thoughts and are sending you to the ped. For some reason the most recent replies hadn't loaded for me yet.

akwildI hope it's nothing, but my DS is still pooping that much some days. He's only 8 weeks though. And it definitely irritated his butt if you remember what I went through in the first month. Fingers cross she gets better soon!

We decided yesterday to see how dd1 would do without wearing diapers during most of the day and she didn't have a single accident yesterday or today! We went out today and bought her underwear and she loved getting to wear them instead of a diaper.
We also moved dd2 into the crib for the first time tonight and she struggled a little at bedtime, but has been doing great since then 😊

I think this has been the worst week I've had since becoming a parent. We're pretty sure that DS is afraid at night after that stupid dinosaur thing we went to. He is waking up crying 4-5 times at night, he's struggling with bedtime and naps are awful. Both kids are waking up one after another all. night. long. all week. Often times they wake up together as they wake each other up crying. MH and are sleeping for maybe a few hours a night - if we're lucky. It's seriously a nightmare over here. DD had a few better nights, but now she's back to not being able to be put down....
I can't shake the guilty awful feeling that we've ruined our sweet boy with that stupid dinosaur thing 😢 I wish I could take it back and never have gone.

I hope both LOs start to sleep better soon!

tbirdlove I’m sorry sleep has been so hard this week. Everything is sooo much harder when everyone is tired. I went and picked up cinnamon rolls this morning for tomorrow. I gave p a bath and I’m feeding her before we leave for her appointment. Of course she’s looking better today ... so now I feel like a crazy mom. But it’s ok.
