Thank you for the welcomes!
Sleepless nights are rough. This little guy is the first out of 3 to sleep longer than 2 hr stretches at night which must be some kind of in built survival mechanism. I'm not sure I'd be able to cope if he'd been like his brothers. Were currently getting some fresh air with a stroll along the beach before lunch.

DS seems to be feeling ok today. I wound up with DD in her crib (how the hell that fell into place, I don't know) and DS in our bed - can't seem to win there. He still had a fever this morning, but I alternated and gave him Motrin and that's brought it down. DD had another poop blowout this morning. I'm tired of scrubbing poop out of her clothes 😑
I really need to take a nap. But I am currently feeling so stressed and so overly tired that I can't unwind.

I think we're hitting the 3 month growth spurt. All he wants to do is nurse. He can stop nursing on his own, I sit him up un my lap, and he starts turning his head looking for boob again. I am happy it's happening before I went back to work though! DD has been waking up more at night and acts like she's starving! I still can't figure out if she's following regressions and growth spurts by due date or actual birth date.

We will all sleep again someday right?! Dd2 was up 4 times last night and dd1 was up twice. I feel like I'm never going to get a good night's sleep again 😴

Most nights are not great with DD, but my DS has been waking up crying motn too the past few nights. It almost never happens. Between the two of them MH and I are slowly losing our minds.... Today is not going well either..... I kinda want to run away.

Sometimes I wish I was going back to work...

DS2 is currently taking his first nap longer than 30 minutes today. I'm cold and want hot chocolate but am not willing to risk noise from heating up water or milk.

We went hiking twice this week. It feels awesome to get outside and be active again.
In regards to sleep, DS Still wakes every two hours or so eating and having a few diaper changes a night. But we co-sleep and nurse so I basically do it all with my eyes still closed. lol! DD had a few late nights and she was up until 11:45. I was not happy. She also still comes in my bed MOTN to finish her sleep. The other morning at 5 am she was all up in my face trying to get me to play. Not cool. She has also pretty much abandoned all naps. So there is that. 🤷♀️

brenna - DD did pretty well in her crib! Got her down around 8:45 with wake ups at 1:30 and 5:15-ish. She woke around 8 and I brought her to nurse laying down in my bed while I wrap my head around getting up and she fell asleep again till a little after 9. No issues getting her back to sleep after wake ups. DS however.... I had to sit in his room with him until he fell asleep at bedtime. Then he woke up crying around 3 and 5 - MH dealt with those. I don't know what's up with him. This is VERY abnormal nighttime behavior for him. And he can't seem to tell us what's wrong. How was your night?

I got dd2 down at around 6:30 before I went out to have dinner with some friends and she actually stayed asleep until 12! Then she woke up at 4:30 and got up for the morning at 7:45 so not too bad. DH said getting dd1 to bed was a nightmare. She's been taking all her clothes and diaper off several times each night and screams and cries. Thankfully she didn't get us up after falling asleep though. So overall it was pretty good but I still feel so dang tired!

P didn’t want to go down last night at her usual time. Luckily the H saw I was frustrated and took her from me. I went to bed because I had a headache so idk what time she actually went down. She didn’t wake up until 345.
BUT she has started pooping again during the night. I thought it was just the travel but we have been home now for over a week. She has totally changed her BM habits since we got back and it’s like she is a newborn again....

And it must've blown out with a fart or something cause she wasn't awake to do it 🤣 She hasn't pooped motn in a long time so I was surprised.

Last night was a fairly normal night for us. Though I gave DD a little melatonin before hand since she fell asleep in the car from 4-5. I was not staying up until midnight again with her. She was asleep by 10. DS didnfall asleep as soundly as he normally does, but was sleeping hard by 10. And up every 2-3 hours as normal. We were all up by 7:20.
Today we went to the mall to ride this train that is a tradition here in ATL. It took forever getting us there and finding where to go all for a 5 min train ride. Oh well, making memories....
DS has been so cute lately with all of his smiles, giggles, and coos. He's really getting expressive.

I got to call poison control this evening because while I was trying to get dd2 to sleep dd1 decided to go into my bathroom and start eating my toothpaste. I didn't know how much she ate so I was freaking out. They said to give her milk and just watch her, but there isn't usually enough fluoride in toothpaste to really be too worried.
I'm so exhausted. I thought things would be getting easier by now but I feel like they are getting harder. I still feel like I'm flailing most of the time and I'm not giving enough attention to either DD.

brenna we had the pleasure of calling poison control for the first time just this summer - DS ate one (some?) of those orby water bead things.
