I love HGTV. That is all. We no longer have cable and this is the ONE thing I miss. It's one of the reasons why I enjoy cardio at the gym.  |

Anyone making a registry? I feel so behind, but not. I have like 5 things on mine. It's my second so I am really only making a registry for the completion discount. I started a Target and Amazon and need to update them. Maybe we should start a registry thread? I'm lazy right now. But one day. I have an Amazon and a target because i like free stuff and organization of my shopping lists |

Finally DS is out playing on his water table. I may join him in a bit but tired even though hubs had to see to him last night. I could still hear everything over the monitor. Another spectacularly hot day! Yay!  Hopefully our landscaper will be on schedule tomorrow to start work on our backyard! Excited about that but not excited when the town called this am about picking up our permit. Didn't expect the permit to cost as much as it did. Ugh! I also need to spend the next week invoicing and figuring out our finances since we're losing my income. We definitely have to pinch our pennies ( don't judge me, I aint from here! ) and curb any and all additional expenses we don't need. Hubs will be allowed new underwear though  SaveSave |

I have a registry started with around 3 items. Mostly to keep track of what I need. I really need to add more to my list because I have zero baby things.

Also on team Completion Discount. I only made an Amazon one. I'm using the registry as a personal shopping list for things I will need for #2 (which isn't too much since we are having a 2nd boy, but some of them are big ticket like a double stroller, convertible car seats, etc). Anything that is completion discount eligible, I will buy in one big purchase once the discount goes into effect. Amazon does a diaper rewards thing too, if $1000 worth of stuff is purchased off the registry. So I'm doing a kinda silly thing where any time I need something for DS from Amazon, I'm adding it to the registry for #2 then buying it off the registry, to rack up the money toward the diaper rewards. I got in the nursery designing rabbit hole this morning after seeing rachydc post the blanket pic. I've changed my theme and am currently searching for all things "watercolor forest". I'm really liking what's out there on Etsy and Amazon so far, and I think I will stick to this theme! |

I still can't get full and I feel like I'm eating everything in sight. At least I didn't need nausea medicine this morning. In addition to eating all the food, I'm a ball of emotions. If something isn't making me rage it is making me cry. Isn't pregnancy fun?! I can't get full either. It's driving me crazy! I am now the total opposite. Since last week, maybe cos I've been sedentary, my appetite has dropped significantly. I think I lost 2 lbs last week! Meh! SaveSave |

chitownsully Hang in there! Crazy work and MOTN wake ups are no fun. Normal day for us over here. Excited for my weekly "get out of the house" MFM appointment in about 12 hours  The baby was super super active today...like... are you trying to kick and claw your way out of there? DH could even see my bump moving from across the room. Simmer down baby! Baby needs to stay in! and same over here. I swear DS did not move as much as this fella. Apart from feeling movement super early, I swear I can feel all extremities, elbows, knees, feet, hands, head and bum ( those 2 i can't tell the difference ) Last night I felt the little fella kicking my cervix and stretching into it and it was painful. Stay in there little fella, you're not ready to be out yet! SaveSave |

cythe, it's a salad yes!  Salad sounds good for meals now. It's been so hot here. I think I will fix myself a salad for lunch. In fact I think I'll add watermelon and feta cheese to what is now hubs grocery list this week. Watermelon salad is the best!

rachydc, that is super cute but ack! at the price. I really would like to get stuff for the new fella but we have soooo many blankets and I just cant bring myself to get another one. Also is that a pic from the Etsy seller? Couldn't they have ironed it and have a nicer presentation?!! Sorry its just my OCD flaring up and also a part of my profession lol!

I do too. But sometimes it freaks me out and I wonder what dangers are lurking behind our old walls. I hear you. I don't think I could ever do a Property Brothers style remodel (buying a house and redoing the whole thing) without like a 20k buffer. 6 weeks and I can do it for $45,000. Me: yeah right, we both know there will be surprise new electrical, new floor joists, probably some mold and maybe asbestos if we are lucky. There's always a surprise! and it will always take 4x longer than what they say. Don't get me wrong I do love watching it when we had cable, we only have Amazon Prime and whatever hubs and his geeky brothers have on the servers to share which is insanely a lot! It took us a year to finish our retaining wall lol! it was dry stack with natural stone and like it took another 5 months or so planning our backyard landscaping. I am still figuring out trees and shrubs. I cant even start thinking about plans for our basement which I really really need to get started on. We still haven't finished/started tiling our fireplace and with me not being able to do much, that isn't going to happen this yr sigh! It's only been 2 years! what's another year right! SaveSave |

arimaythea, that theme sounds so neat! I need to see it! and what a great idea about adding DS1 stuff to the registry! Now I may have to see what I have on his wishlist. I seriously cannot cannot think of what else I would need for fella #2? 2T mom's what are you guys getting in addition to what you already have? I would love all the things but like I said I just cant bring myself to get anymore stuff though.

It's about 40 minutes from where we live now, but much closer to DH's work and in a neighborhood with great schools. The House needs a lot of work as the current owner hasn't done any updates in the thirty years he's lived there, but we're getting the house for a great deal because of that. |

These are some of the things I've found so far on Amazon/Etsy that fit the theme to give me ideas~  As for my Amazon registry for #2, a lot of what I have added is due to the fact that I am making a separate room for #2. Some of the things I've added are: Crib bedding Convertible car seats Car mirrors Diaper storage caddy Diaper pail Changing pad/cover Wipes dispenser High chair Auto rocking Rock n Play (one for DS does not auto rock) White noise machine Video monitor with add-on camera (currently only have audio for DS) Double stroller Nursery decor
