Hi ladies! Sorry I have not logged in in so long. I am wondering if anyone else’s LOs are still waking up at night? My son has always been a bad sleeper but would temporarily improve if we sleep trained. This summer he had a good run and I felt like a normal person for the first time in a long time. But ever since late August he is waking up at 10 p and 3 a then up at 5 for the day. We are all exhausted! Anyone else going through this too? Is this possibly still the 18 month regression?

Hey Bunny! Excluding the awful sleep, I hope all is well with you. Dd is an earlier riser, I have not been able to fix that trait in either of my kids. But she does sleep through the night. Is he still in a crib? The only thing besides more sleep training that I can think of would be transitioning him to a toddler bed. I know most people want to avoid that for as long as possible though. My ds started pitching a fit around this age when we put him in a pnp when traveling so we transitioned him to a mattress on the floor. Plus I wanted the crib for newborn dd. I hope you find a solution soon because I would be so grumpy with that sleep schedule.

I do refuse to go get dd if she wakes up before 6. Most times she drifts back to sleep but other times she’ll make such a fuss that she wakes up ds.

He’s actually been in a toddler bed since 17 months when he started climbing out of the crib 🤪 It’s funny because after I wrote this he actually stayed in his room all night for the first time in 3 months (woke up but put himself back to sleep at 4). Alas, he was up last night at 11 crying for me. It seems it will just be a game of waiting it out. He will sleep at some point, right????. 🤷🏼♀️

The first night home she woke up at midnight and pitched an epic fit, banging against the door etc. I am not looking forward to the process of getting her back into the big bed since she’s sleeping so well in the pnp.

Hi! I hope all is well. I have no advice on the sleep issue. E is still mostly a good sleeper. Just wanted to say hello.

Oh man, that’s tough. Hoping it’s a short-lived phase and blows over fast! Wish I had some magic trick to share!

Oooooo maybe the time change will work in your favor and reset his sleeping habits.

W is kind of in a sleep regression? Like, he usually only wakes up once and sometimes he isn't even really awake, just yelling/crying in his sleep. Some nights I just haul him into bed with me but most nights he just has to be held for a minute or two before going back to sleep.
