What do you have left to accomplish before this baby arrives?

-Install the car seat bases -Finish Christmas shopping for the toddler (I want this all done or mostly done so all we have to do is wrap once Dylan is here) -Set up the bassinet -Pack hospital bag -Buy a few more swaddle blankets -Stock up on groceries on Prime Pantry
ETA finish the nursery - this definitely won't be done by the time he is here, but as long as painting and the flooring is down, I can live with that.

So many things...
Order replacement screws for the crib. Finish the nursery. Finish organizing and cleaning the house. Run some errands.
Gosh, it sounds like I’ve gotten nothing done.

I am crying and laughing right now. I just ordered some decor for the nursery yesterday after the non-stop nonsense the last week and I finished the registry. We will just purchase all of it once our completion coupon gets here, which is hopefully going to be soon!! I know babies don’t need much, but I’ve put off everything besides the actual construction of the nursery and buying a crib, stroller, and car seat. He didn’t even have clothes until last weekend. I also made my target list for my post partum needs so I guess I should order those at some point too. I just feel so behind.

I have clothes washed and in a tote. Thaaaaaat’s about it.
1. Move furniture to attic / new master bedroom (happening this week, hopefully).
2. Order DD’s new bed set once we get the new receipt and final total. They had a sale this weekend and hell yeah to getting more money off!
3. Wash the fabric to the car seat, bouncers, swing, etc. Put back together and put in attic / new master bedroom.
4. Once we have DD’s new bed set, move her current set to our old room / new nursery. Convert the crib back and all that.
5. Attend a sprinkle at some point. It’s a surprise. It’s also very late and making me sweat.
6. Find bottles and purchase new nipples.
7. Find pump, make sure it works, purchase new parts (will also get a second through insurance - one for work and one for home!).
8. Pack hospital bag.
9. Clean out car. Put on new seat covers. Install car seat base. Clean DD’s seat while we’re at it. It’s gross. So many crumbs.
10. Start figuring out Christmas for the toddler and H.
11. Take a deep breath.

1. Install Carseat bases 2. Wash clothes (will do this week) 3. Sterilize pacifiers and bottles 4. Pack hospital bag (planning to do next week) 5. Christmas shopping, I'd like to be about done by the time of C-Section 6. Put together bassinet, it's in our room in pieces since DD1 keeps trying to climb into it.......... 7. Pick up some NB nursette formula bottles and nipples just in case 8. Move some supplies to the basement as that is where we plan to hang out while I recover from the CSection, too damn many stairs in the house

Omg with the Xmas shopping.
I would love to get that done but I’m fresh out of ideas for anyone except my kid.

I'm actually feeling relatively prepared... after the appointment a couple weeks ago where my OB threatened to move the c-section up to 37 weeks if my blood pressure stayed high, H really got a fire lit under him. With the new car, car seat base was installed that day, stroller was cleaned, and now we've also re-organized both main play areas in the house to make room for Christmas toys/baby's toys. The nursery is as done as it needs to be... it could use one or two more little decor touches, but there's a crib for the baby to sleep in, the dresser, and I've even got some baby clothes already washed/in there. I also got my Target registry completion coupon early, so I went ahead and just online ordered basically everything on it, and now am feeling kind of set as far as things I need to have in the house. The things that remain to do are: - Figure out how to order/get my breast pump - Wash/sanitize bottles - Finish baby laundry - Pack hospital bag, and overnight bag for DS since he'll be at my parents' house while we're at the hospital. - Make some freezer meals - Christmas shop. But I also only know what to get DS1... I would love to get a bigger jump on this, I just need to sit down and make a list of ideas/etc. I actually already have a couple toys I saw good sales on for DS, but nothing for baby, and even less of a clue on the rest of our family.
The real thing that is stressing me out is how much training I still have to do at work; I'm running out of time, and am just hoping I'm not forgetting anything so I have as little mess as possible to come back to in February.

1. Find car seat, swing, nursing bras, and changing pad (in storage unit I hope).
2. Order second car seat base for H's car.
3. Put up the diaper shelves above dresser to hold pretty cloth diapers.
4. Clean out my car before installing car seat.
5. Finish packing hospital bag (it's only clothes right now).
6. Clean bottle parts now that we have a dishwasher!
7. Pour concrete countertops, install baseboard trim, and move fridge back into kitchen. And also move everything else back into kitchen. The backsplash, shelves, and cabinet trim can wait.
8. So much work stuff. Like, so much.
9. Clean front room because it's currently full of kitchen stuff. Paint it if there's time because only two walls are done!
Probably a bunch more. Who knows.

I overdid it this weekend and can barely walk, but we got so much done! I still have: 1) clean out car and install car base 2) set up new cameras/monitor 3) finish washing bottles 4) finishing touches on nursery 5) a few freezer meals
I’m making H do all but 5, I think. Unfortunately he is out of town most of the week though.. My back and thighs are killing me.

I need to get my pump situation under control. I also want to have some bottles on hand, just in case BF doesn’t work out. I should also buy some pacifiers.
We also need more diapers! I bought a tiny pack of new board size, but that’s it.
Really my main concern is what we’ll do with my 4.5yo if this baby comes before 10/31. That’s when my mom comes into town.

Christmas shopping won’t happen pre-baby, but I’ve started a list of ideas for DD1 and will figure out the rest. Look out, Amazon Prime!
Still need to:
- bring up car seat from basement, install bases - bring up and wash RnP and baby swing - find and hang art in the nursery - pack hospital bag - a lot of work stuff, but it will either get done or it won’t. I’m never “done” at work, so there’s not really a finish line - figure out my FMLA situation, like whether I want to use some vacation and sick time or not

Oh crap, I forgot about diapers. Thank you Amazon Prime. Target was having their buy $100 worth of baby goods and get a $25 GC promo recently so we picked up 3 boxes then. DH then used the GC to buy a video game. One adult step forward, one adult step back, LOL

Omg with the Xmas shopping. I would love to get that done but I’m fresh out of ideas for anyone except my kid. Yeah I am only focusing on my toddler. If I can get that done I will feel so much better. I am so nervous going without a paycheck again for 3 months so I really want to get it done while I have the cash flow! Everyone else gets small gifts and we mostly just focus on our nieces and nephews anyway.

I feel like I have so much to do as well although I do have a bit longer to go than many of you so I'm not as anxious yet!
-Install car seat bases -Wash cloth diaper stash I got from my SIL - We have a bookshelf and a cubby system for the closet that both need to be put together so I can get stuff organized in the nursery - Pack a hospital bag - Make some freezer meals - Finish Christmas shopping - Finish decorating the nursery (not a huge priority but I'd like it all to be done) - We have several half-done projects around the house that I'd to see finished before the baby comes. That is probably what is giving me the most anxiety.

We have diapers and clothes... but that’s about all that’s ready.
-buy a place for LO to sleep -buy a new infant insert for our old baby car seat. I guess I tossed the old one. -get the car seat ready (washed and in car) -wash and prep the swing and rock n play -hospital bag -meal prep/freezer meals -think about Christmas gifts
I have no idea what I am even getting anyone for Christmas!! It doesn’t help that DS2 just isn’t in to toys at all.

Everyone but DS is getting gift cards for Christmas. I suck at gift ideas anyway, but I’ve decided the most minimal of effort will be put in this year. H and I are giving each other a trip for the baby’s first birthday or sooner, lol.

Install the car seat.
Finishing putting away clothes and the diapers I have gotten.
Put the swing and bouncer up.
Finish packing the hospital bag.
Then I'm set! I'd like to do more around the house but it ain't gonna happen. I killed myself raking the backyard yesterday and had a few intense contractions so...

We're fairly prepared, but a couple things left
- Go through DD's old bins with crib sheets/generic baby clothes to see if there's anything usable - finish the nursery - I need a floor rug, nightstand, and lamp which I keep finding options for, not ordering, and then they go out of stock :-( - bring the swing up from the basement
I'm not going to worry too much about the nursery stuff since he'll likely be in the pack n play in our room for 2-3 months...but it would be nice to have done before newborn pictures.
