I have a dentist appointment this afternoon that I am dreading. Other than that, just catching up at work from being out yesterday.

Both of my kids were up at 4:30 today, so I'm hoping they both will nap for me. DD usually doesn't, but she really needs to. Need to work on laundry today, but that's about it.
I made banana muffins for breakfast and mixed up oatmeal bread dough to go with dinner tonight. I'm making BBQ beef sandwiches on oatmeal bread buns. It sounds really good, so I'm excited for it!

mommabakes Banana muffins and BBQ beef sandwiches...yum! That sounds really good. Normal day here today. My bump feels tight again, so I'm thinking there are going to be some stretching pains coming up in the near future. It's like this baby has a growth spurt every other week!

Morning. DD is at my dad's so I can be free to pack up the house. Depending on what I get done, if I come to a good stopping point this afternoon I may drive up and visit for a bit and have dinner with them. H is already picking her up and will likely have dinner there, so I could join them. It all depends on time and traffic. As it does with most things around here. Taitai I had an uncomfortable bump day yesterday. Baby was definitely stretching out.

Today is starting out much better than yesterday. Sunday night DS was awake from 10:30PM to 3AM, then up again at 6AM. DH and I were basically zombies yesterday. I worked from home and ended up taking 2 hours off to nap with DS in the afternoon - it was much needed. Normal night of sleep last night thank goodness!
#2 has gotten SUPER active these last few days - his movements are less fluttery and more real kicks now. DH got to feel a bunch of them last night so he was pretty happy.

DD is playing in our enclosed porch while I finish some house stuff. We're gonna hit the park for a little bit this morning before lunch and nap too. I have my doctors appt this afternoon too (finally!) and maybe some outside water play with DD before bed. Lazy summer day here!

I skipped my nausea medicine yesterday and got along fine. This morning I felt ok so I skipped it again. "I must finally be in the clear!!!" I thought.
But no. When I got to work I found myself frantically searching my purse for my nausea meds. I sat very still at my desk with my head in my hands for a while and luckily the medicine kicked in before anything came back up.
Now I'm starving again. Baby must be in a growth spurt because I cannot get full. I'm currently making my way through a stash of Easter candy I found this morning while searching for an oil change coupon for DH.

I get one full lunch break a month (usually I forfeit and eat at my desk so I can leave an hour earlier) and I forgot to pack sneakers to go for a walk. Meh! Rookie mistake.

DS just went out for his morning walk with grandma And we read a couple of books after breakfast so that was nice! I have nothing to report! Let's keep it that way lol! I started to put together a list of things I can do on my ass which is summing to be long -who knew! So that's made me feel better about the thought of not being able to do anything. Also waiting for a call back from the nurse to see if it would be ok for me to do a quick tour of a preschool which I was on a wait list for this Thursday if possible - got a call yesterday about 1 spot open in July. I think if it's just walking around for 10 mins I should be ok providing I feel fine and I'll make sure to sit while discussing all the other good stuff and observing.

Mine just this week is starting to feel that way and I suddenly feel really pregnant but I am unsure if it's normal or because I have symptoms from surgery and meds? I think I only started feeling like this when I hit 3rd tri last time. Also feeling out of breath just siting around And like the babe is stretching and pushing my diaphragm. Anyone feeling this? I hit 24wks a couple days ago.

Oh snap! DS just got back and had his first live snake encounter! Grandma said he wAs inches from picking it up in our backyard! From description a juvenile. He's seen a much larger one several times but from a distance when we used to go walking. I hate snakes! And we have tons of them here! Ugh! I can't wait for him to bring home toads and lizards! Toads are ok, lizards I also hate!

I tried to order Potbellys from my city office and their website said 2 hours for the earliest delivery time. I just called them to verify and I had to stop myself from crying. Get it together! I'm so hungry/sick to my stomach. I need that sandwich!

I'm so behind you guys but waaaaahhhhh.

Tuesday is my Monday as I'm back to work today. So I started this thread since DD decided to wake up early and then proceed to cry about everything. Daycare drop off went no problem, she had been a bit suckly lately, maybe it's teething. Since I've been on modified duties I've been hanging out in this office, well I come in today and my computer is gone so now I have to sit near the public where it's super busy and I can't sit on my phone all day because of my companies policy of having phones visible to the public. I'm hoping they will resolve the computer situation but who knows. duskymonkey This pregnancy has been way more painful and I have definitely noticed the stretching and expanding. If I slouch it's uncomfortable under my rib cage area.

rebeccabunch , I think it is uncommon to last this long. Last pregnancy it lasted for me until about 20 weeks. I'm in my 25th week so I'm wondering if it'll last the entire time? Last time my OB said if it lasted until 20 weeks it is likely to last until the end, but then mine let up right at 20 weeks. Not the case this time. It is definitely better and I got along fine yesterday w/o meds. I'm sorry you feel hungover! All those hormones doing amazing things inside our bodies - but it makes us feel yucky sometimes.

rebeccabunch Did you have nausea with your boys? Ughhh I do not miss first tri and the "need to eat now or I will puke" feeling AT ALL. I hope the next few weeks go by fast and it lets up for you and CoachTsWife. Do they think you might have HG?

rebeccabunch, half a unisom tablet at night makes a world of difference in my nausea. MIL just called to check on my birthday plans for July 3. I haven't been away long enough to have any desire to see them again. So we need to come up with immediate family only plans immediately.

Ended up ordering some things from Mermaid Maternity to try, but whew was it expensive - I hope it looks alright. I went shopping today for a maternity bathing suit also and thought they would fit much better than they did, the small didn't even cover my belly and the medium made my butt look awful!! I'm going to try a couple More places but maybe I'll look online too! And sooooo expensive! Everyone I've talked to is just like "oh just wear your bikini and let your belly hang out" I didn't mind when we were away in Myrtle Beach but it was just us and I would put my coverup on right as I stood up, but I was a lot smaller than and still felt uncomfortable, not to mention I doubt my bikinis even fit right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had today off because I need to work this weekend. I spend literally 3 hours folding laundry- we haven't folded it in about a month. Then I purged the items in the pantry and organized what's left.
DD had a horrible day at daycare. I was told she was aggressive, pushing kids and trying to bite. I'm getting frustrated with this behavior, the not listening, the not eating. She had a meltdown the whole way home from daycare. And I know it's only the start because she's not quite 2 yet. When we got home she just cuddled with me on the couch. I just don't know.

Sorry about the rough day at daycare. For what it's worth, DD went through a bad phase right around the time she turned two. It was hard because she's an only child so she didn't exhibit some of those behaviors at home for us to correct her. She gotten better as we approach 2.5 (better but she is 2). I don't know what caused the change other than us just keep on keeping on and riding it out.... hope tomorrow goes more smoothly for you all!
