My chiropractor place has 3 chiropractors. I saw the owner yesterday and he took a closer look at my shoulder. I guess it’s more screwed up than I thought. He said I was really tight in my neck and he wasn’t surprised that my headaches/migraines were coming back. Areas of my neck are out of whack and causing both headaches and shoulder pain. I’m going to have to go 3 times a week for 2 weeks and he thinks that will help or get back to normal. He did some massaging yesterday that about sent me through the ceiling. I guess it’s really inflamed. He suggested a natural supplement i food get at my co-op.
I can still excercise abd he encourages movement when it’s not painful. Rotating a certain way hurts and sometimes it gets to a point that I physically can not move my arm. If I’m laying in bed and I put my left arm by my head then try to rotate (like doing a half circle) it to my side I can’t.
I have no clue how this happened.

so at a 5k like 3 months ago i got a bag with stuff in it, there was a sample in there called biofreeze for sore muscles. holy shit, it's a freaking game changer. I used it last night on my neck/shoulder area after doing some mobilizing moves that a co-worker told me to do and i feel so much better. off to amazon to invest in this..lol. honestly i think it's just like icey hot. but i hate icey hot and this doesn't smell as bad. so winner winner.

RunsforWineandCarbs, H is obsessed with biofreeze. I can't use it because the smell it so strong it burns my nose lol. But it sure does work good.

RunsforWineandCarbs, oh yea, I remember it dying. I thought you replaced it. If you're ever in the market for one again, I've been loving my Versa. I get asked a lot if it's an Apple watch lol

alright fitness peeps. time to answer some questions. the weekend is here and it seems this is the hardest time for some of us to stay on track. Be honest. 1. Do you struggle to stay on track during the weekends? 2. What specifically do you struggle with? 3. How do you manage to correct yourself when you realize you start to slip? 4. Leave any advice here for others on staying on track over the weekends.

1. Do you struggle to stay on track during the weekends? YES I do.
2. What specifically do you struggle with? Eating is my weakness. I skip breakfasts, I eat unhealthy snacks. I don't track my food. I drink more.
3. How do you manage to correct yourself when you realize you start to slip? I think by not eating breakfast I will consume less calories and we all know that is false. So false. I try to make healthy choices. If I want a snack, grab an apple or a handful of carrots. I try to chose healthier options when out eating. (Notice I say try, it doesn't always happen.)
4. Leave any advice here for others on staying on track over the weekends. I don't have much advice as I am horrible on the weekends. Which may be why it's taking so long to reach my target weight. The advice I do have is don't let 1 or 2 bad days discourage you. Everyday is a new day and a new chance to make better choices.
And let's be honest. I really put this here so I can find new ways to stay on track because i am trying to be honest with myself and realize i suck at this on the weekends. lol

My main struggle on the weekends is my water intake. LOL I was just going to suggest making sure water intake is on point on the weekend to give yourself that full feeling when you just feel like eating...

1. Do you struggle to stay on track during the weekends? If I’m focused no. If I’m not then all days are hard.
2. What specifically do you struggle with? Stress eating (stuff with dad, school for S1)
3. How do you manage to correct yourself when you realize you start to slip? I dunno
4. Leave any advice here for others on staying on track over the weekend *shrugs*

Ok everyone...what are you goals to finish off the month??
My goals are to eat more protein, less carbs and sugar. Focus on form during my lift sessions. Get 3 runs in. Drink more water.

I just want to get movement in while I wait did my shoulder to get better. It’s already much better.
I also joined weight watchers. I need something to hold me accountable. Weight watchers will refund me 2 months if I lose 10 lbs in that time. So that’s cool
