We are suppose to get into the high 90s later this week and next weekend. So my plans of taking the kids to a park so LO can burn off energy won’t be happening.

H and I go back to work tomorrow and the boys head (back, in V's case) to daycare. I am prepping spare clothes, diapers, wipes and bottles and getting my pumping supplies together.
I'm taking this opportunity to change some clothes out. V turned 3 in June and has been in 2T for 18 months. I'm forcing a switch to 3T because his things are so worn out, and the length is getting too short on the pants. L meanwhile is a tank, and I just pulled out the 9 month clothes for him. He'll be 4 months on Saturday.

The temps have been beautiful all weekend, and now we're all going to roast at school this week with temps in the high 90s and heat advisories.

F last week at 11 weeks was still only 9.9 and 22 inches. I keep joking that he's going to be wearing 6 month clothes at 12 months and 12 month shoes at 6 months because it seems like the only part of him that's growing are his feet.

I forget what I posted last. We moved! I live on the west coast now. So so happy but so so much to do. I have a house full of furniture that needs to be assembled and a truck full of boxes somewhere in the middle of the country. It’s a process. But luckily we have lots of help here. We were at my parent’s house last week and now we’ll be at my MIL’s until the new place is ready.

So basically F will be in 0-3 month clothes until I find the 3-6 month stuff. And in her RNP until we get the crib set up 🤷🏼♀️

Well guys, we transitioned from the rock and play (I think). It's been a process over the last few weeks with lots of trying of different swaddles but she has slept 8-5:45 or later the last few nights so fingers crossed!
Now once she rolls and we need to drop the swaddle I'm totally f'ed.

We are in the f’ed camp now, swaddle was abandoned last week and she wakes up 2+ times now because she is stuck on her stomach. I am tired.

And in her RNP until we get the crib set up 🤷🏼♀️ I can’t find my box of 3-6mo so J is still squeezing into 0-3 onesies in the day and kinda swimming in 6-9mo PJs at night. I got a few things in a Labor Day sale to hold us over.

We did the crib transition, too. She was up 5 times last night. She rolls both ways, and is on the GO, so no swaddle for us. I hope she settles into a better routine soon.

We had a good first day at daycare/back to work. Luckily I was SO busy with meetings and prepping for students that I didn't have much time to think about missing the boys. They both had a great day; L refused the first bottle, but drank everything I sent by the time I picked him up. He didn't sleep much and was overtired at bedtime, but hopefully he'll adjust as he gets used to being around all of the kids and the routine there.
L was sleeping when I went to pick them up. While we were sitting in the car (H forgot to leave the infant seat and had to bring it to us), he woke up and saw me and was so happy. It was so sweet to witness his excitement at seeing me after a long day.

First day back to work went fine. E went to DC twice last week so I knew she would be ok. My N13 went to preschool today and he says he likes it. But he did cut his heel on a wood chip.

I’m exhausted. E is going through a sleep regression i think k. She also has a cold but it’s on the mend so I’m not entirely sure. But her wakeup(s) have gone from 1 to now 2 and they are taking at least an hour sometimes 2 to put her back down successfully. She falls asleep nursing but the transfer isn’t working.
And of course DH is going out of town for work for the next 2 nights.

Hello! Going back to work has killed my routine. F is doing really well. She’s still fully swaddled in the bassinet next to my bed but we will be moving her to the crib this weekend. I think she is close to rolling over so we may have to start transitioning her to no swaddle soon too.

Idk if it is sleep regression or just a crappy night but last night was rough! We had work/school today and it went well!

We have an appointment with a pediatric dermatologist tomorrow for DD's skin. I can't seem to get her eczema under control and it's affecting her sleep.
Last night was better for us, we only had three wake ups from her and I woke up another time to pump. I'm hoping once her skin is better and she has more time without the swaddle, that she will adjust and go back to being my good sleeper.

I am on week 3 of back to work and things are going well. DS doesn’t nap well at DC but he eats like a champ I think we (currently) have his Zantac dose at the right spot.
We’ve also moved out of the swaddle and into the Merlin suit for the last week or so. He’s in the PnP next to our bed. I’ve been bringing him into our bed at some point every night when he starts to fuss. He usually goes out like a light then. Something I never did with DD and swore I wouldn’t do with him. But here I am, exhausted and desperate. I’m also trying to stop doing naps in the swing unless I’m desperate.
