1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 10 weeks 2. Symptoms/milestones? Just the reflux on his part. The zantac has helped, but not all the way. I had to give poor baby some tylenol today because he just kept screaming and screaming. 3. Appointments? Our nurse is visiting next Wednesday for a weight check 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Breastfeeding, definitely. I'm able to feed him side lying really well, which means more sleep. 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? Just to make sure I get up and do a load of dishes, a load of laundry, and sweep every day. Even if I don't do anything else that helps keep up so when I have the time and energy to do something else it's not overwhelming. 6. Pics please! Smiles!!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 14 weeks 2. Symptoms/milestones? She blows raspberries back at people now. So cute. She also has her first cold. 3. Appointments? I got officially diagnosed with PPA this week and started on Zoloft. I realized after my son that I had it and had an idea of what to look for this time. 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? L screamed so much. So much. It's mostly better now. 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? I'm a Roomba lover. Also, after cleaning your baseboards wipe them down with a fabric softener sheet because it repels dust for a little bit longer. 6. Pics please! Laughing at her brother 💓

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 3.5 months, closing in on 17 lbs 2. Symptoms/milestones? First double ear infection Starting to show interest in rolling over Reaching for and grabbing things and bringing closer to him 3. Appointments? 4 month appt in two weeks 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Knock on wood, L has been fairly easy all along. I feel like things are harder now, but mostly because of his big brother and the fact that we’re in a phase of won’t lay down but can’t sit up independently yet. I do like that he needs to be fed less often now. 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? Can’t think of anything 6. Pics please! [\spoiler]

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 3 months tomorrow ! She seems to be around 13 lbs and is wearing 6 months clothes because of her length. 2. Symptoms/milestones? She can rotate front to back and this morning she woke up 3/4 on her stomach from her back. She has a great head control and is so strong on her legs, she scoots on her back pushing on her heels ! 3. Appointments? Not until her 4months, early October. I wanted to get my IUD installed this month but it takes weeks to receive it and I am changing insurance in September and again in October so they told me to wait until the final one. Sorry H, it is condoms or nothing for now ! 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Her going to bed time for sure. She was not falling asleep before the early hours and now she is down between 9-10p. 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? I love our Nest because I can control the temp from my phone. I am also obsessed with the Mint app for our budgets. I want a roomba soon to get home to a clean house 6. Pics please! working those neck muscles !

What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Her reflux isn’t as bad I guess? Haha 5. 1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 14 weeks yesterday! I weighed him last week and he was just under 12 pounds. He’s long and skinny! 2. Symptoms/milestones? Starting to giggle and “chat” more, he’s starting to realize he has feet and can kick things. Has come close to rolling over but I am not encouraging that! Ha. 3. Appointments? 4 month appointment mid-September 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Screaming from 5pm on. Now he’s mostly happy 😊 Still waiting for fewer wake ups... 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? I started trying to do one load of laundry (wash, fold and put away) each day. Also- getting out DD’s outfit and mine the night before to make mornings easier. 6. Pics please! I don’t know how to do the spoiler- sorry!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? - 2mo. 13lb 8oz, don’t remember length but it stayed 50th percentile 2. Symptoms/milestones? - lots more smiles and cooing. Had his first stuffy nose which wrecked sleep but last night was better so hopefully he’s moving on. 3. Appointments? - urologist on Monday 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? - he handles fast letdown much better these days. And knock on wood he’s stopped pooping at night! 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? - love my divided laundry basket so much. Sometimes I’ll load the washer the night before & set it on delay start so when I get up in the morning I just move it to the dryer. 6. Pics please! ((poof))

itsmemeg YAY! I’m so relieved for you and her!! How’s the transition going overall? Not too bad. I miss her terribly. And feel like I don’t get to see her enough now. She doesn’t nap well there yet. She seems happy though so that’s good

Is it possible for a baby to go through a growth spurt every other week? Because I swear that's what F is doing. I'm going to get some larger bottles (I only have 4 oz currently), pump morning and night, and try him with 5-6 oz at bedtime. That seems to be where we're struggling right now.

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 10w, somewhere around 11.5lbs ish. 2. Symptoms/milestones? Baby had her first plane flight! And she rolled to her side. She also took her first nap flat on her back, without motion. 3. Appointments? Not anytime soon. 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Throwing away tons of formula. She’s eating much more consistent amounts at each feeding so that’s nice. I hate wasting the stuff. 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? Setting up the coffee the night before. I never want to but I hate myself in the morning when I don’t. Also multiple sets of almost anything that needs to be laundered so that I don’t feel stressed if I don’t get to it right away. 6. Pics please! Matching outfits that a friend from my first BMB made. 11lb of baby, 11lb of dog.

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 15 weeks
2. Symptoms/milestones? Crap sleep, lots of drooling, Gas, still having 10 or do BMs per day. I’m going to bring it up to the pedi again because it doesn’t seem right.
3. Appointments? 4 month in 2 weeks
4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Predictability. I know that I can nurse, wait for a couple of wet diapers and BM and then head out knowing that DS won’t be hungry for at least 2 hours.
5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? Running the dishwasher frequently even if it’s not filled up 100%. If we wait until it’s filled then there’s always dishes that don’t fit and sit in the sink dirty.
Then emptying the dishwasher before any dirty dishes can pile up in the sink.

kiri 10 BMs/day seems like a lot, assuming that’s not a typo. I’d ask your pedi about that!

He told me that up to 12 a day is normal at earlier appointments but with DS now being almost 4 months. I would have thought that his system would have adjusted by now

I thought at this age they lessened too? DD was probably 1-2x/day (?) and DS goes like twice per week. Which apparently is also normal since he’s BF. I’ll be curious what they say whenever you ask again!

I thought that it was slowing down around 3 months but I told the pedi that it was still very frequent. I thought that I’d read that their tummies can still take a few more to mature. I don’t know if DS is at the boundary of normal but I’m really hoping to get this resolved. I’ll ask about probiotics and maybe try eliminating dairy fir a few days to see if that makes any difference. I’m open to suggestions though.

Did your pedi say anything else? Life would be much easier without so much poop. Not really. L has a dairy intolerance and pretty severe eczema, so it's possibly related to that. He's almost four months and 17 lbs, so I think his weight makes them less concerned about a lot of things since he's clearly thriving.

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? As of today 11 weeks and 3 days 2. Symptoms/milestones? She’s really trying to roll from back to tummy and has been “talking” up a storm. 3. Appointments? Not until October. 4. What’s something you struggled with in the early weeks that’s no longer a problem? Dry skin is not as bad. Slowly going away. 5. GTKY: what’s a daily or household tip/trick/gadget that makes your life easier? Write what we need down on the fridge as I discover it. 6. Pics please!
